"He's close" Clove said as the group stood together in the hospital

"No. He's here" Will spoke while grabbing her hand

"Hey! Hey two are a time" the nurse at the front desk shouted as the group of friends went down the hallway

"Stairs" Mike said as the elevator was taking too long. They ran to the door as El quickly threw it down with her mind, to see a large junk of gew standing infront of Nancy

"What the f-" Max began from where she kept her arms around Clove before the creature screeched loudly at them before it charged at the six, causing El to use her powers to swing it left, then right, then to the ceiling, and then to the ground. The creature stood up and screeched at them again before El yelled and threw it out the window

"Go!" El yelled

"Nancy!" Jonathan yelled while running into the room while the teens ran the opposite way down the hallway. El pushed the hospital doors open and held a hand infront of her friends as she saw the creature traveling down the sewer drains

"Is that-" Max began but was cut off

"The same shit that was in my arm" Clove said with wide eyes as they watched it go down

"It can't be good for her to be in there this long" El said as they went back to Hoppers cabin so that El could try and connect with the victims of the flayed through her blindfold and static tv

"Mike you need to relax" Max said to him while Clove was pacing back and forth behind him

"What if she gets brain damaged?" Mike asked

"Or goes paralyzed" Clove pointed out

"Oh shit, is that like a real thing?" Lucas asked from where he sat on the couch

"No it's not. Mike doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and Clove is just worried" Max rolled her eyes as Clove shrugged

"Oh and you do?" Mike asked her with a annoyed look

"Can we all just stop? I mean, our feelings are valid, Max. But, Mike, at the same time we need to trust El" Clove said with a eye roll

"Oh yeah i'm sure you're worried Clovey" Mike said with a glare

"See there you go again, holding all types of shit over my head" Clove said as she flipped him off

"Oh my god okay can you guys settle a argument for us?" Max asked Nancy and Johnathan while they walked into the kitchen

"Who do you think should decide El's limits... Mike or Eleven?" Max asked the older teens

"The way that you frame that is such bullshit" Mike said to her with a eye roll

"It's not bullshit, Mike! This is your whole problem along with how you can't let anything go that Clove finally  found the right words to tell you after she kept it from you for so long! That's persisley why she dumped your ass!" Max yelled at him

"El dumped you?" Nancy asked with wide eyes

"Oh i'm so sorry i'm supposed to just be okay with the fact that Clove, my best friend, likes my girlfriend" Mike said with a annoyed look

"Liked! With a ED! Liked! Max and I are together now, and i'm happy!" Clove yelled at him

"Wait, you guys are together?" Jonathan asked as he looked between Max and Clove

"Yeah" Max shrugged while Clove cleared nodded

"Max is just corrupting El!" Mike argued

"Oh my god shut up Mike!" Clove yelled at him

"Oh no i'm inlightening her! The fact is she's not yours! She's her own person and fully capable of making her own decisions" Max argued back to Mike

"She's risking her life for no reason!" Mike said with wide eyes as Clove sighed

"For no reason? Mike the flayed are out there doing god knows what!" Nancy said to them

"Killing, Flaying..." Lucas began to list

"Transforming into monsters" Will added

"El knows how to handle herself! She's done it many times before" Clove pointed a finger at him

"Exactly, she not stupid. She knows her abilities better then any of us" Nancy said as Clove and Max nodded

"Exactly thank you" Max said while throwing her hand around

"And she is her own person, with her own free will" Nancy began to list

"Thank you, strong and independent woman" Clove cheered Nancy on while giving her a high five

"El has saved the world twice and Mike still doesn't trust her" Max said annoyed

"You wanna talk about trust? Really? After you made Eleven spy on us?" Mike asked as Max sighed

"Wait what?" Lucas asked confused

"Oh she didn't tell you this? Cloves girlfriend used El's powers to spy on us!" Mike yelled as Cloves eyes widened

"You guys spyed?" Clove asked as Max shook her head

"No no! I did not make her! It was her idea! And why are we even talking about this?" Max asked while Clove shrugged

"Yeah who cares?" Will asked with a eye roll

"I care" Lucas said while pointing to himself

"Yeah I guess girls don't lie they spy!" Mike said

"Oh god shut up Mike! You think because you started dating El you all of a sudden know everything about girls? Believe me.. you don't know the first thing!" Clove yelled at him

"We were just joking around" Max argued

"Would it have been so funny if I was taking a massive shit or something?" Mike asked as Clove scrunched her face up at him

"You weren't" Max said with crazy eyes

"But what if I was!?" Mike yelled back at her

"Then gross!" Max yelled at him

"Seriously Mike?" Nancy asked while rubbed her forehead

"I'm just trying to deminstraight how careless Max is with Elevens powers. In fact how careless all of you are! You're treating her like she's some kind of machine when she's not a machine! And I don't want her to die looking for the flayed when they've obviously vanished off the face of the earth! So can we please just come up with a new plan because I love her and I can't lose her again!" Mike yelled as Cloves eyes widened slightly as she blinked. Max looked over to catch her reaction only to see a mix of shock and surprise all over her girlfriends face. The door opened to El's bedroom which took Clove out of her thoughts, turning to head toward the front porch

Clove ran a hand through her shoulder link hair as she thought about everything Mike said, pushing the small pot off the steps before the door opened behind her. Turned around. Max frowned while sitting next to her

"Clove" Max spoke

"That was kinda sudden, what he said" Clove said back

"Maybe... maybe we rushed into this to quickly. Maybe I should have given you more time to get over El and-" Max began but was cut off

"That's not it. I want to be with you Max, I do. I'm sad because I know i'm hurting you! You deserve so much better then me and I just want you to realize that. And i'm not meaning to, i'm not I swear. I'm so sorry" Clove shook her head as Max shook her head bed scooted over to wrap a arm her, "I don't still like El, I don't. But hearing Mike say that realizes I will never be like that, never be secure in my sexuality enough to be able to admit it out loud, even if I feel it."

Max went to say something before her hand grazed Cloves face.

"Clove, Jesus you're freezing" Max said as she put a hand on her face again

"Jesus, do you feel sick?" she asked her as Clove shook her head

"N-no" she shuddered while pulling a weird face

"C'mon, let's get you wrapped up. You probably caught something when we were at the hospital" Max said while she helped the small girl stand up before she wiped her face and lead her back in the cabin
