I debated whether I should even approach him. It's amazing how fast our relationship turned into a shit show.  I went to him though. I felt like an idiot for going to him, but I didn't care anymore. I was an idiot, but I was in love. 

"I didn't think you were going to come," I commented, standing next to him, not making eye contact. 

"I didn't want to, but I had a feeling it'd be worth my time," he replied, not looking towards me either.

"Was it?" I asked.

"Well, you're here, so far so good," he admitted.

I turned and locked my eyes onto his brown ones. "You hurt me-"

"I know-"

"No, let me finish," I cut him off. "You hurt me, but I don't hate you for any of it. Never have I felt like this for anyone."

"(Y/N), I swear if you gave me a second chance, disregarding everything others say-"

"Pete-"

"No, please listen, I promise that we can have all the nerd days in the world. You think like me, and I can't bear to let a guy like me out of your sights," he claimed.

I let out a giggle. "Was that Hans Solo?"

"I love you to the death star and back," he smiled.

I bit back my smile. "I love you, too."

He gave me a light kiss on the lips and pulled me into a hug. Once we pulled away, we both stood there looking around at the other's, who paid no mind to us.

"Hey, how about I get us some drinks? Cherry soda?" I suggested.

His face lit up, "You remembered?"

"Well how can I forget the way I met my nerd," I laughed.

"Yes, please," he replied.

Once I got back, I saw Kevin talking to Bradley. I debated leaving the two, but I had nowhere else to really go. I awkwardly stood next to Kevin trying to give a natural smile, but I knew it was out of place.  

"Hey (Y/N)," Bradley greeted. 

I gave him a smile in return. 

"So, I'm going to go back to Lola, but you guys have fun," Bradley smiled.

"Lola?" I asked, curious. "Since when?"

"I'm not sure, but I'm going to let him be happy. Him, a football player, her, a cheerleader-"

"They'll look cute together," I agreed. "So, you wanna ditch to play video games?" I suggested. "Strip fortnite?"

Kevin's face blushed red.

"I'll take that as a yes. Let's go," I smiled, pulling on his arm.

*(A/N): Hey my little penguins, that's another story in the raps. I really hope you all enjoyed this story, and I have a request from you guys. I will later write a message on my board about this, but I need two volunteers to proofread  and give feedback the novel I've been working on and give me back some feedback.
