Chapter Sixteen

*Your P.O.V.*

Homecoming was this Friday, so I was spending as much time as I could with Bradley to stay on his good side. We hung out and watched sports movies, which I'll admit I hated, but I didn't really have a choice.

Everytime he looked at me, I felt my pit grow bigger and bigger because I knew what I was doing was wrong. It was so out of character for me, but I couldn't help it. I had friends, and it was because of Bradley. Bradley opened doors for me that I have never had opened before in my life. I was never part of the in crowd, and Red, Wendy, Bebe, and Nicole-they all hung out with me. They made plans with me. Never had I been with the top dogs at school.

"So, Friday Night Lights sound good to you?" Bradley asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah sounds great," I replied, not paying much attention.

K: What the hell are you doing?

I felt my body tense up as Bradley came back to the couch. He wrapped his arm around me but he noticed my stiffness.

"Everything okay?" he asked but figured the problem out after he looked over my shoulder. "You have got to be kidding me."

He took my phone and replied for me.

M: Hanging out with me boyfriend.

As soon as he sent the message,  he took the liberty to block Kevin and delete his number.

"What the hell?" I narrowed my eyes.

"What? Are you planning to do anything with him?" he questioned.

"No but you have no right to be taking my phone and blocking and deleting numbers. That isn't your business. Boyfriend or not," I snarled.

"Are you serious right now? I got rid of the guy who liked you? I can be protective," he argued.

"You should just trust me," I responded.

"Trust you? After what you did? You're lucky you're even here," he snorted.

I gritted my teeth and got up. "I need to go."

I didn't give him anytime to say anything else before I was out the door, but once I was out, I rethought everything through.

Wow, he's right. He shouldn't trust me.
