Chapter Eleven

*Kevin's P.O.V.*

At this point, (Y/N) and I were on the same page- well, at least, I'm pretty sure. But there was so much that was still in the way. The first thing was Red. I couldn't break up with her. Homecoming was in two weeks, and there was no way she'd find someone to go with her (she'd have to start being nice).  Obviously, (Y/N) and Bradley were going to go, so the only person I needed to update was Bradley, which was a lot harder than I imagined it would be.

"No dude, there is no way (Y/N) likes you like that," Bradley laughed.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "And why wouldn't she?"

"Dude, (Y/N) is totally hot. If she didn't like me, why would she be into you?" he laughed.

That irritated me. That royally pissed me off.

Who does he think he is? What? Just because you have broad shoulders and play football means that she can't be into me?

"You know, maybe-just maybe- a girl like (Y/N) would like a guy whose brain can actually function when it's not of a field," I spat.

"Excuse you? Did you just call me dumb? I orrcastated this plan for (Y/N) to fake date me because she gets us. She's not like other girls. I'm not dumb," Bradley snarled.

"You are an absolute idiot. (Y/N) went along with your little plan that I-ME- talked you through because  she likes me," I freaked on him.

"Wow Kevin," he let out a sigh. "I need to get over myself? You need to look in the mirror and realize that your Star Trek loving ass will never amount to anymore than this DUMB football player," he snarled before leaving.

Once he was gone, I took a deep breath, not even knowing what to think.

She's coming in between your best friend. How long are you just going to roll with it. You have a pretty girlfriend and a good life. You need to stop. Stop thinking all of these thoughts.
