My life started like any other...

Then again, growing up in The Big Apple was never easy....

Especially when you live in the Supernatural part of the state..

It was always loud,crazy but fun.

I had a handful of friends and we always had a great time...

But I always felt like something was missing....

And being a Half Breed was never easy to begin with.

Growing up without a mother and having an important member of The High Council for a father whose name sends a chill up a weaker man's spine and whose always away and being an only child totally sucked...

He was always gone and I had to fend for myself,be my own mom.

Life was a bitch sometimes.

It seemed to get worse when I turned seven..

Daddy had come back from an important meeting and I was in the kitchen, trying to get that last pack of cookies, my favorite, Chocolate chip and I was using a stool and somehow I fell,harder than I predicted and nearly broke my neck.

But still,I landed with a heavy thud and blacked out...

" Eliza, NO!"

Daddy rushed over and carried me to the car and drove me over Midnight General Hospital and demanded that we get a Healer immediately.

I remembered waking up in a strange room,in a strange bed with about 3 other girls,one redhead,the other a curly brown,one with hair the color of night and hearing voices.

"Sir,are you sure that you want to give her to us?"

"Yes. She will do well here.Among other children."

Daddy?

" Sir,if you're sure then-"

Daddy's voice was emotionless as he cut the woman off.

" I must forefill my duty to our great Council. Eliza has her mother's spirit and Goddess knows that she was a fighter to the bitter end. I leave her in your care but let her know that I loved her."

My heart shattered.

Daddy was leaving me here with strangers?

" Of course, sir."

"I will try to see her whenever I can."

"Yes,sir."
