"Damn this new model is sick!" Chenle squealed and held the sniper rifle, gawking at the new re-model Ten did. He went towards the shooting range, aiming before pulling the trigger. "Ten-hyung this is so cool!"
"I'm still working on the upgraded one," Ten murmured and watched the younger shoot some targets. The WayV members, including Renjun and Chenle, were in Ten and Yuta's unit, where he mostly stayed as he was either working with Yuta in modeling weapons or working on modeling explosives.
The door creaks open trudges in with a boring look plastered on her face. "What? Can't I hang out with y'all?" she makes a face and they all looked away.
Kun sends her a smile, "Of course you can– it's just, we'd never thought you will."
Keiko hummed and approached Chenle who sneered and stepped away from her making her chuckle, "Are you still flustered, Lele?"
Lele? The young boy's eyes widened at the sudden nickname, heat rushing up to his face as his ears reddened. What the hell, Chenle?
She stood beside him, gazing down at the gun, "Can I try?"
Chenle shook his head, keeping the sniper rifle away from her grasp, knowing very well that if he handed her a gun, it would be a disaster. Keiko scowled, rolling her eyes as she went to Ten instead, "Party pooper."
Chenle scoffed and aimed the rifle at her, "I'd shoot you."
"I'd like to see you try." she retorted, throwing him a weird look before turning back to Ten's work desk. A gunshot sound was heard, ringing through everyone's ears as the bullet had nearly hit Keiko.
A playful smirk crept up her face as she glanced back at Chenle who had the sniper rifle pointed onto her. Kun hissed and snatched the rifle from Chenle's grasp, throwing it at Lucas who held onto it dearly, admiring the modeled gun.
"No killing each other, please?" the oldest boy pleaded and crossed his arms in front of him.
Xiaojun scoffed and pulled a small knife from his inner pockets, "I don't like that rule," he murmured and fiddled with the knife, "how about we play throw knives?"
Sicheng chuckled nervously, "I don't really think th—"
"Great!" she cuts him off and poked Ten's upper arm.
Ten pointed at the drawers, "There are some knives over there."
"Thank you!" she said and ran towards the drawer, pulling them open as she skimmed her eyes onto the numerous blades that were presented in front of her. Grinning, she loaded a few in her pocket and faced Xiaojun who seemed to be born ready.
A few minutes passed, nothing but yells and screams erupted from the office unit.
"Shit! Don't fucking hit us– Xioajun's the fucking target, Keiko! What a bad aim!" Hendery screeched and hid behind the dark blue couch, his hand clutched onto his wound.
"But Xiaojun's literally wherever you are!" she yelled back, failing to dodge Xiaojun's knife as she got distracted by Hendery. Hissing loudly, the knife had cut her arm in one swift movement. Definitely a bad idea to wear short sleeves.
"Fuck–" Renjun gasped and stopped spectating them, running towards her to check the cut. Seeing the blood seep out of the cut made him wince and shot a deadly look towards Xiaojun who just gave him a panicked look.
"Taeyong's going to fucking kill you, Dejun," Yangyang said and went to check out the cut as well.
Chenle sighed, "I knew to give her a weapon was a bad idea."
"Does it hurt, baby?" Ten glanced at her and she scrunched a face in torment, "Do you want to feel the pain as well?" she questioned, raising up the knife she still had in her grasp.
Ten chortled, standing up to grab his phone when Kun stopped him. "What are you doing?"
"I'm going to call Tae—"
"Don't!" Lucas yelled with his eyes wide, his hand stretched out, "He'd freak out if he hears she got hurt."
Keiko rolled her eyes and pushed them slightly away, scoffing as she had her palm covering the cut. "He'd act like he's freaking out, say it correctly," she told them and made her way towards the door that suddenly opened.
To their surprise, Taeil stood still until his eyes trailed down, seeing the girl clutch her arm. "Did something happen to you? Why are you clutching your arm?" he questioned, but Keiko only walked past through him.
"Keiko– wait, you're bleeding!" he exclaimed, his brown orbs widened upon the sight of blood. Keiko coughed, "No shit I am."
Taeil wrapped his hand around her wrist, immediately dragging her to the medical unit. He made her sit down as he prepared the stuff he needed. "They should've aided you as soon as possible," he grunted and attended her wound quick, afterwards he wrapped her upper arm in a bandage, sealing the wound from sight.
"You shouldn't really play throw knives with them," Taeil lightly nagged at her as he let her stand up, "well, you do seem fine though."
Keiko laughed at him, "It's not the first time."
Taeil frowned a bit until his eyes darted onto her tattooed arms, examining closely, he could see some old scars on them and that made him furrow his brows and look back at her. She just gave him an innocent smile before walking out of the medical room.
By the hallway, she bumped into Donghyuck who was in utter shock to see the bandage wrap on her arm. Eyes glistening with concern, he immediately cupped her face to which she irked at a bit. "What happened? How'd you get that?" the boy bombarded her with questions to which she scrunched her nose.
Taking his hands off her face, she glanced down at the bandages and shook her head, "Don't worry about it."
Donghyuck rolled his eyes and pulled her with him, "Keiko, where did you get that?" his voice went deeper, not the usual playful tone she would always hear.
"I told you– don't worry about it." she insisted, knowing that any time soon, his bomb would tick off and that would-
A light thud against the wall as he pinned her against it. Fingers gripping tightly on her shoulder blades as he inched his face closer to hers, the fact that she had her under his arms and how close her face was made him feel butterflies in his stomach. The knot inside his stomach churned as he gazed at her.
A smirk on her cherry lips, knowing that she managed to set him off. But it didn't last long, a voice down the other side of the hallway disrupted this moment, "Donghyuck. I told you to bring her to me." the said boy loosened his grip on her shoulders, stepping back as he looked away, his face now flushed in a deep red color.
Keiko snapped her head towards the voice, a now blue-haired Taeyong stood beside Mark, not exactly having their brightest expressions.
Donghyuck had made sure that his body was cover half of hers, making it hard for them to see her injured arm.
Mark spun around and spoke loudly, "Let's go." he then pauses for a bit, "Oh, and Keiko? You're coming with us."
Taeyong tilted his head towards Mark's direction and Donghyuck nodded, lightly yanking her lower arm with him. As they passed Taeyong, the mafia boss had his eyes on her wound, acknowledging this before walking away. He made sure to note down that Doyoung should bring her to his office when they get back.
With Mark at the front, a few meters away from the two, Keiko nudged the boy beside her, "Where are we exactly going?"
"To a mission." he simply said making her scoff in disbelief.
"Why am I included?" she irked, jabbing her thumb towards her direction.
Donghyuck shrugged and nodded his head at Mark, "Ask him. He wanted to bring you with us."
Keiko looked at Mark's back figure before shaking her head. Donghyuck chuckled, "Don't worry, babe. It's just a simple mission. All we gotta do is kill the assigned person and voila! We're good to go."
"Right." she sighed, well, it can't be that bad, right?
