"Seriously, it's three in the morning, Rienne. Can't you guys talk later?" Reklamo ni Kaito sa akin.

Madaling araw na at kausap ko pa rin ang mga girl friends ko. Since lahat kami ay free schedule na mamaya, we decided to plan what to do this Sunday.

"We can't. We're leaving at 7 am later to go to Disneyland! Masyado akong excited!" I shouted at him and he looked at me exhausted.

"Kapag hindi ka pa tumahimik sasama ako sa inyo bukas!"

I grinned. "E 'di sumama ka! Wala akong paki." I said. Confident akong sabihin iyon dahil alam kong puro girls kami roon, I'm sure that if he gets impatient, aalis din siya agad.

But I was wrong to think that. We are now currently on the way to the train station dahil doon kami magkikita kita ng mga friends ko. "Are you sure you don't want to study na lang today? P'wede mo naman akong ihatid na lang."

Umiling naman siya while swiftly steering the wheel to the left. "I want to accompany you. Who knows, you and your friends might get wasted again and I know for sure that they have their boyfriends with them today just to be sure. E sino'ng babantay sa 'yo? You don't have a boyfriend."

Pasmado bibig nito a! "Kung kasama mga boyfriend nila for sure akong kasama si Andrew! He could be my temporary boyfriend."

"Do you even like that dude?" He asked with a frown and I didn't answer but stared into eyes. "Exactly, hindi mo siya gusto." Sambit niya. Wala pa nga akong sinasabi!

Inirapan ko siya. "Hindi ko kailangan ng boyfriend. I'm an independent person. I don't need no man."

"Sus. You need me nga e," he scoffed at nagtaka naman ako. Hindi ko pa naman siya kinailangan a? "Kailangan mo 'ko. Tumitira ka sa apartment ko so technically, you need me." It's like he read my mind dahil 'yon ang sinabi ng bibig niya.

"Whatever."

When we arrived at the train station, I saw my friends waiting and Kaito was right. My friends are with their significant other at ako lang ang single. May mga date na dala ang si Meila kaya okay lang naman siguro na kasama ko si Kaito?

He's not my date though!

"Who are you with? Is this the half Japanese guy you were talking about?" Glen asked and I saw how Kaito was suddenly kinda nervous. Hindi siya ito!

"Wait... you're the DJ from the club, right?"

"Everyone, this is Kaito. Kaito this is everyone. He's my..." I didn't know what to tell them. Hindi ko puwedeng sabihin na nakatira kami sa iisang bahay dahil pagiisipan ako ng mga ito.

"I'm her suitor, I like her." Sambit ni Kaito at agad naman kumunot noo ko bago hampasin ang kaniyang braso. What the fuck? It's not the time to do silly jokes.

But it's too late to take it back because all of them squealed. Buti na lang at wala rito si Andrew dahil sure akong magtataka rin iyon.

"Did you two bring extra clothes?" Jaid asked and I nodded.

Hindi na nagtagal at nakarating din kami sa disneyland and we all bought a Fast pass tickets para hindi kami matagalan maghintay ng pila. Bago pa kami humanap ng unang ride na sasakyan namin, we of course took photos first.

At dahil may sari-sariling partner sila, matik may photographer sila.

"Do you want me to also take pictures of you?" Kaito asked while I was looking at my friends in a happy state. Gusto ko rin maranasan 'yan.

"Huwag na, hindi maganda camera ng phone ko," I answered and he took out his phone before pointing it to me.

"I'll use my phone to take your photos, so smile for me."

Sinunod ko naman ang utos niya pero hindi ako ngumiti ng todo. Hindi ko feel e.

"You both are cute! Give us your phone, we'll take photos of you two!" Madie said and Kaito gave his phone to her before standing right beside me. I thought he wasn't going to close the gap between us pero inakbayan niya ako.

Pagkatapos namin mag picture, sumakay kami sa space mountain ride. As usual, Kaito was the one seated beside me and I was screaming the whole ride.

"Grabe ang kapit mo sa akin, Rienne. Tila ayaw mo 'ko mawala a," biro ni Kaito after the ride. Napansin niya yatang pinagpawisan ako kaya kinuha niya ang handkerchief niya at pinunasan ang pawis ko.

"Thanks," I gave him a small smile.

Habang naglalakad kami para puntahan ang next ride, I decided to open up a conversation with Kaito. "Did you mean what you said earlier?"

"Ano ba sinabi ko?"

"That you like me," I said in a monotone and he took a while staring at my face with an emotionless face.

"It was a joke. Gusto ko lang makita kung paano ka maasar," he said with a low chuckle and I crossed my arms.

"Hindi ba't lagi mo naman ako inaasar?"

"I just like seeing you annoyed. It amuses me."

After our second and third ride, Kaito bought me churros and I smiled because I actually like them. Naghiwa-hiwalay muna kaming lahat kasi gusto muna namin maglibot ng kasama ang mga partners namin para kumain. Wala naman akong choice kaya I'm stuck with Kaito again.

Pero kung magiging totoo ako, I am slowly becoming comfortable with him and I am not complaining.

We sat down under a small cherry blossom while we ate food. Siya ang nagbayad ng lahat, he insisted because he wants me to save up money kasi baka maging mabilis lang daw ang trabaho ko rito sa Japan.

"Sasabihin ko na lang kay Mom na panatiliin ka rito! Maayos ka naman daw sabi niya e, kaya sigurado akong mas malaki ang chance na manatili ka rito kahit isa pang buwan."

"Bakit? Gusto mo ba 'ko mag stay dito? Mamimiss mo ba 'ko?" I asked to tease him but his face became serious again.

"To be honest... in a short span of time, you made me happy in ways that I can't explain. Kapag siguro mawawala ka, magiging tahimik na 'ko ulit at lulunurin na ang sarili ko sa acads pati yosi. Pero ngayon at nandito ka, nagagawa kong maging masaya."

I wasn't expecting that kind of answer from him. But I guess it was true because he seemed serious.

We decided to meet at the souvenir shop kaya naglakad na kami. "Nabibigatan ka ba sa bag mo?" He asked at umiling naman ako dahil hindi naman talaga. Kinuha niya naman 'yong bag ko at siya na ang nagbitbit.

When we arrived inside the shop, kumpleto na sila. Tiningnan naman nilang lahat ang aming hitsura at nagtaka ako dahil sobrang tagal nilang nakatitig.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

They pointed at my waist at nagulat akong nakalagay doon ang kanang kamay ni Kaito. Agad naman niya tinanggal ito. Bakit hindi ko 'yon naramdaman?! Iisipin tuloy nila na normal lang sa amin 'yon.

"You both really look married. The only thing missing is three children." Glen said and Kaito chuckled while I stayed in a straight, blankless face.

After buying souvenir, sinuot sa akin ni Kaito 'yong minnie mouse headband at binigay niya sa akin ang ice cream na binili niya. "Hold the ice cream and smile.." he said before taking out his phone again to take my photo.

After he took my photo, kinain niya 'yong ice cream at habang nagsscroll ako sa Instagram ay nakita ko na nagpost siya ng pictures niya na nandito sa Disneyland and he looked so... handsome.

Unti unti na bang lumalambot puso ko para sa kaniya? Tangina.

Sa huling picture na kasama sa post niya, it was me. It was the recent photo he took of me. I checked the comment section and I saw that everyone was asking about me. Baka aksidente niya lang nasama ang picture ko!

Oo, ayon 'yon.

It was 4 PM and we were watching a parade. After this, we're going to ride the ferris wheel to catch the sunset. It would be my first time watching the sunset here in Japan. By twos lang kami so of course kasama ko pa rin siya.

Masyado na kaming magkasama nitong mokong na ito, hindi ko alam kung ano mararamdaman ko roon. Hindi niya pa naman ako iniinis ulit kaya wala akong reklamo ngayon.

Habang dahan dahang palubog ang araw, the sky was pink. It was breathtaking. Sobrang ganda niya.

Hindi ko namalayang bigla na lang ako naluha dahil naramdaman ko na lang ang kamay ni Kaito sa aking pisngi para punasan ang mga nasayang luha ko.

He was looking at me with questioning eyes because I was suddenly crying. I don't want him seeing me this vulnerable because it makes me look weak and I don't want to look weak.

"Ngayon lang kasi ako nakakita ng ganito kagandang paglubog ng araw. Kahit isang linggo na akong nandito sa Japan... Everything still feels so surreal. Hindi ko inexpect na magkakaroon ako ng kaibigan at magkakaroon ng pera para pumunta rito. Lahat ng ito'y pangarap lang noon." I smiled at him and this time... It was genuine.

Ngumiti rin naman si Kaito sa akin and he placed his hand on my cheek before gently rubbing it with his thumb. His touch was weird... I could tell that it's not just a simple act of kindness. It was something else. But I don't want to assume things quickly.

"Ang ganda mo, Fleurienne."

Hindi ako nakapag-react agad sa kaniyang sinabi. Pero naramdaman kong unti-unting bumibilis ang tibok ng aking puso. Umiwas naman siya ng tingin at binaling ulit ang mga mata sa lumulubog na araw. The sky was now orange and I could see the moon slowly making its way to replace the sun.

"I'd live for sunsets with you."

Hindi ko maintindihan ang mga sinasabi niya sa akin. Rinig na rinig ko pa rin ang puso kong kumakabog. Masyadong marami ang nangyayari! Paano kung pautot niya lang ito at hindi naman pala totoo?

Ewan ko ba! Ang lakas lagi ng trip ng lalaking 'to pota. Ngunit hindi ko naiwasang ngumiti habang nakatingin sa napaka-guwapong side profile niya.

"You look so happy when you smile, Rienne. Ngayon lang kitang nakita na hindi pilit ngumiti. Sobrang ganda mo... putangina."
