After the interaction with Kaito's friend, we both agreed that he'll wait for me at Starbucks if I wear his jacket. Pagod na ako para makipagtalo kaya sinunod ko na lang siya. Ugh! I just want this day to get over with. He'll do his studies there while I go shopping.

He even offered to pay for the things I am going to buy in case I still don't have the money from his Mom but I said I got it covered.

Habang naglalakad ako sa furniture shop, hindi ko matanggal sa isip ko ang ginawa ni Kaito kanina! I don't know what to feel. His hand was on my fucking waist. Hindi ko madetermine nararamdaman ko, I'm not sure if I'm uncomfortable or what.

It was just a completely weird feeling that I can't fucking explain. Pero it looked like he was doing that just to let his friend know that I'm not interested. Baka alam din niya na baka pilitin ako no'ng kaibigan niya kaya nilapit niya ako sa kaniya as protection.

Buti naman at naisipan niyang maging mabait kahit sandali lang. Kulang na lang kasi tubuan siya ng sungay para maging si satanas e.

I decided to get a desk for my room and some shelves. I plan on reading while I'm not doing anything here in Japan. Alam ko naman kasi na marami akong free time rito. My job is so simple.

I just have to inspect every branch of their business every day. Kahit nga One to two hours lang p'wede na e. Hindi ako manager sa kanila, but Mrs. Ren said to act like one since the people there needs guidance. She said that their current manager can't seem to do the easiest thing ever.

I also got a few rugs, and paint. I want to repaint my room kahit sandali lang ako rito. Pero who knows, baka mag extend ako kapag natuwa si Miss Ren sa akin.

I got two mini chairs just for the aesthetic of my room and also picked up a lamp para kapag trip ko magbasa sa gabi e 'di magagawa ko iyon.

After paying, I realized that I can't push this cart everywhere around the mall. I need to place all of this in Kaito's car. I shrugged before getting my phone and called his number, it took a few rings before he picked up.

[Hmm? Anong kailangan mo?] He asked in the other line ang medyo nagtaka ako kung si Kaito ba talaga ang kausap ko. Ang lumanay kasi ng boses, parang hindi siya.

"I need to put the items in your car, can you come with me?" I asked.

I heard him sigh, [Alam ko naman na hindi mo 'ko pasasamahin sa pagbili mo ng furniture. Hindi ako tanga kaya nilagay ko ang susi ng kotse ko sa bulsa mo bago ka umalis.]

I checked my pocket and he was right. Nasa akin nga ang susi niya! Paano naman nangyari iyon e hindi ko naman naramdaman na nilagay niya iyon sa bulsa ko?

"As if I need your—" bago ko pa matapos ang sasabihin ko ay binabaan niya na 'ko ng telepono. Bastos talaga!

I went to the parking area and placed all of the things in his car. What if umalis na kaya ako at iwan ko siya? No, it'd be too risky. Wala akong pamalit sa kotse niya kapag nabangga ko ito. I went back inside the mall and was about to go straight to Starbucks to meet him when I came across a clothing store that sells cute items!

Siyempre, pumasok ako sa loob para magtingin lang. But I failed when the saleslady talked to me and managed to buy seven items from that shop. Okay iiwas na ako sa mga stalls! Pero nadaanan ko ang store na puro makeup and perfume. I couldn't stop myself from buying a few perfumes.

After almost spending a lot of money, I decided to go to Kaito. When I went inside, the place was so quiet! Nakakapanibago lang dahil doon sa Pinas sobrang ingay na ng mga coffee shops, lalo na ang starbucks. Buti pa rito tahimik talaga, p'wedeng p'wede mag aral.

I saw Kaito studying in the corner and it looked like he hadn't seen me enter yet. He had his airpods in so I guess he can't hear anything.

I decided to order my go-to drink which is iced caramel macchiato and a blueberry cheesecake. After getting my order, I went to Kaito and sat in front of him. Finally, I caught his attention.

Tinanggal niya ang airpods niya so I thought he'd be opening up a conversation with me but we still stayed quiet. I took a picture of my drink and pastry and posted it on my IG story. As I was about to take a bite of the cake, Kaito broke the silence.

"Did you just soft-launch me on your Instagram?" He asked at agad kumunot noo ko.

"Alam mo, napaka assumero mo. Hindi ka naman kita."

"Talaga? Patingin nga? What's your Instagram?" He asked and nagulat naman ako roon. I didn't expect him to ask for my Instagram but boy that's one smooth way to ask for a person's IG. Napilitan naman akong ibigay sa kaniya dahil alam kong kapag hindi ko iyon binigay sa kaniya'y kukulitin niya 'ko magdamag.

After five minutes, nakita kong nagstory din siya ng laptop niya. May caption pang Currently studying at Starbs. Pero nakita ko roon sa picture na kita ang inumin ko.

"Did you soft launch me on your IG?" I mimicked him and he mumbled something with a smirk pero hindi ko narinig. "Ano raw?"

"Wala. Assumera ka rin e."

"Paano kung may makakita niyan tapos nakita rin ang akin? E 'di pagiisipan nila tayo ng masama," I rolled my eyes and he shrugged.

"Did you forget that your friends are not my friends? And my friends are not yours so what's the fuss about it?" He said before continuing his studies. Hinintay ko siyang matapos mag-aral. He said that he'd be finished in fifteen minutes kaya naghintay na ako sa kaniya.

As he was about to finish studying, a girl came up to us and I saw that she was looking straight at Kaito. Is she Kaito's chick? She looks pretty. Ang malas niya naman at napunta siya kay Kaito.

"Anata wa koko de nani o shite iru no?" The girl asked and Kaito pointed to his laptop. "Anata wa dare to isshodesu ka? Anata wa dare ka to issho ni benkyō suru koto wa arimasen."

Hindi ko mapigilang hindi ngumisi dahil kitang kita ko ang selos sa kaniyang mata. Gosh, why would someone be jealous of me? But this is quite entertaining, sana sampalin no'ng babae si Kaito.

"Watashi wa imadesu. Anata wa nani ga hitsuyōna nodesu ka?" He asked her and the girl was almost into tears. I knew she wanted to cry out of frustration, pero hindi niya magawa dahil ayaw niyang ipakita na nagseselos siya.

"Can I talk to you? In private?" She asked with a weird accent. It looks like she's not fluent in english. The girl was about to pull Kaito's arm when Kaito stood up and faced her.

"What's there to talk to in private? Speak here," he said firmly. The girl glanced at me for a second before sighing.

"Do you still like me?" The girl asked and my jaw dropped. Alam kong wala akong context or any information at all so I am not allowed to make conclusions but this is really getting so tense. It's thrilling me!

Kaito turned his gaze in my direction before answering her, "No. I don't anymore." He said before looking back at her. What was that? Pang dagdag ng dramatic effect? Ano 'to, movie scene?

The girl ran outside and Kaito was just cool with it. "You're such a jerk," I said with a chuckle and he just looked at me. He was already packing his stuff at nang tumayo siya ay tumayo na rin ako.

When we arrived back at home, I took a shower and wore a tank top and dolphin shorts. I also tired my hair up in a messy bun before starting to figure out how to assemble my furniture.

I was already so frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to! Wala si Kaito dahil bumili siya ng pagkain namin. We forgot to do our grocery kanina kaya he bought food outside.

So I decided to get some help. I called Kazuko to help me out and when he was starting to assemble my things, biglang dumating si Kaito.

"What the fuck is he doing here?" He said in an annoyed tone.

"She wanted help, I'm giving help."

"I'm not talking to you. Rienne, why the hell did you let him in?" Before I could answer him, nagsalita agad siya. "You know, let's talk when he leaves my apartment. Out!" Nang maka-alis si Kazuko, I just stayed silent and continued what Kazuko started.

I thought that Kaito was going to ask me why he was here but he opened a different topic while he was preparing our food. "I'm going out tonight, I don't want to see Kazuko here when I come back."

Instead of asking him the question that is currently running through my mind which is why does he hate Kazuko so much, I asked him "Where are you going?"

"Why do you want to know? Are you concerned?" He asked and I shook my head. "Exactly. You don't have to know because you don't care."

I lick my bottom lip before answering back, "But I might care, and can be concerned if you want me to."

He looked at me for a second before answering, "I'm going to a club four blocks away from here."

"Ano gagawin mo roon?" I asked again.

"That is none of your business anymore." He replied. Binigay niya sa akin ang pagkain ko at akala ko'y aalis na siya at papasok sa loob ng kuwarto niya pero umupo rin siya sa sahig at tinabihan ako.

We ate in silence before he decided to break it. "Why'd you let him in my apartment? I told you to never let any guy in here unless I know the person or is my friend." He said and I pointed at the boxes in front of me.

"You could've waited for me. I'm here. Nandito ako. P'wede kitang tulungan naman e. No need to call for others." He sighed and I just shook my head.

"I thought you weren't my boyfriend? I thought you didn't want to concern yourself with my life?" I asked and he scoffed.

"I don't. Baka magsumbong ka kay Mom e 'di patay ako no'n." Pagpapalusot niya kaya tumango na lang ako kahit hindi ako naniniwala.

Narinig ko ulit siyang bumulong pero hindi ko ulit naintindihan.
