Mid June 2005, Inanna Hope was reported missing after she vanished into thin air. There were no leads and as her case turned cold with the years that passed, her family began to believe that they would never find her.

However, unknown to her parents, after a collision with one of the Umbrella Academy students, Inanna found herself trapped in an apocalyptic world unable to return home.

From the moment his eyes met Inanna's, Five Hargreeves knew that something wasn't right, he knew that maybe, just maybe when he was trying to prove a point to his father, he had teleported himself and the red headed girl to the end of the world.

Five couldn't prove it but he knew Inanna hated him enough to begin with without adding fuel to the burning hatred she felt for him.

'How do you lose a woman?' 'You forget to cherish her'... I'm sorry that's all I hear when I read the title, I had to say it, but to what I actually wanted to say.

This prequel is very long awaited, I started writing one back in august but I didn't like it and never ended up publishing it for that reason.

As I said before in my a/n for Divorce, Five and Inanna aren't incest but with all the fivesxhargreeves fic and the fivexviktor tiktok's that I have seen I feel like I needed to say it.

Some things that are mentioned in Divorce won't be mentioned in Cherish and vice versa but I can promise that I will be writing five being stabbed with a knife, the winter where inanna told five she'd rather die from exposure than share a blanket with him, their love confession and their wedding...

Anyways, Divorce is almost at 200k which makes me feel absolutely sick and Cherish is for my Finanna and Inanna lovers.
