AJ POV
I was nervous that Frankie told my dad about Chris and I. I expected him to call me.
"Hey, you will call me if your brother does anything." Chris told me before he drove into my driveway.
"Okay, I will." Not. "I don't wanna go home yet. Can we just sit here for a little bit?"
"Yea." Chris turned his car off and turned towards me. "How are you feeling?"
"Fine, I wonder where my brother is..you think
he got arrested?"
"Maybe your dad has to bail him out?" Chris added.
"I'd be so happy if that shit happened." I laughed.
It got silent for a while. We both leaned over at the same time and started to kiss..more like make out.
...
Vroom. My dad was home. His doge challenger could be heard from down the street.
"Damn it, he's home." I opened the car door quickly and kissed Chris goodbye. "Drive home safe, text me when you get home."
We unwillingly let go of each other's hand and I quickly closed his car door and fished into my hospital bag for my keys.
I pulled my screen door open and jammed my one key into the knob. After a few tries I got it, I locked the door behind me and immediately ran into my room. By the time I shut my door my dad was pulling up.
I looked in my bag for the pain killers the doctor gave me. I took a couple even though they specifically told me to only take half.
"AJ?" My dad knocked on my door.
"Yea?" I said as I tried to get under my sheets.
"Can I come in?"
"Sure." I faced my back to the door.
The door slowly creaked. "You were sleeping?"
"I've been all day."
"Your shoulder hurting?"
"Well the hospital gave me these pain killers, it was just beginning to wear off but I just took one."
"I'll let you get your rest. Night AJ." My dad left and I sighed loudly. Surprised he didn't question me about Frankie.
A/N: Sorry about this short chapter, even though I thinks a lot of my chapters are pretty short lol. Please feel free to comment ideas you may have, or point out one of the many flaws of my story, I don't care. I just wanna know what ya guys think :)
