TJ GREW up as an only child with parents who would rather fight than take care of their child. He was quick to find music as his escape. He feels like music has always been apart of him and he always feels the best when he's playing music. Even though his parents gave him anything he wanted since they felt guilty for fighting all the time (because they're rich which is something he doesn't care about), all he wanted was their attention.

Growing up he never had any friends even though he's outgoing and friendly. So when his parents told him one day that they were moving to New York because they think that a fresh new start will help their fights go down he doesn't really care about leaving his life behind in Canada. Maybe New York will be better for him. Maybe his parents could make up. Maybe he could meet some new friends. Maybe just maybe he might find he one that he has chemistry with like what all of those romance songs talk about.
