"Girl Meets Upstate"

TJ crawls through the window of Riley's bedroom, surprised to only see Lucas sitting there. "You're just here? Alone?"

"Yeah." Lucas nodded as TJ sat beside him.

"Where the girls?" Zay asked, crawling through the window next and sat beside TJ.

"They're not here." Lucas shrugged.

"You've just been sitting here by yourself?" Zay questioned, looking at the Texan boy weirdly.

"Yeah." Lucas answers. "I've been here for like five hours."

"Okay, this is a new level of creepy." Zay sighed and TJ nodded in agreement.

The three of them look over when Farkle climbs through and sits beside Zay. Farkle smiles. "I'm Farkle!"

Lucas, TJ, and Zay chuckle at him.  Lucas looks at Farkle. "I wanted to talk to you. Riley and Maya...You love them, right?" 

"Of course I do." Zay replies, thinking Lucas was talking to him. "How did you know?" 

Farkle, Lucas, and TJ look at him with and he awkwardly chuckled. "Oh, him." He points at Farkle. He grimaces. "Well, so, I've said too much." 

"Since the first grade. Both equally." Farkle answers Lucas' question with a smile. "Nothing could ever change that."

Lucas looks at him with furrowed eyebrows. "Why?" 

"That way, you get to keep them both." Farkle replies. "Not choosing was the best choice I ever made."

Lucas nods. "I had to choose."

"Yeah, well, I'm a genius. You're an idiot with a face." Farkle told him.

TJ chuckles at hearing and raised his eyebrows at Lucas at what he said next. "So, I made a choice."

"You did?" Farkle questioned.

"Are you gonna tell us?" TJ asked him. 

"Wow, well, you couldn't go wrong, Lucas." Farkle said. 

Zay nods his head in agreement. "Yeah. They're both lovely, wonderful girls."

TJ's eyes grew wide when Maya appears at the window, covered in purple paint. Zay gasps when he saw Maya. He points at her. "Who turn into this at night."

Farkle, TJ, and Zay get up as Maya climbs through, sitting beside Lucas while Riley climbs through and sits next to her. TJ noticed how they were both covered in paint which made him curious as to what happened between them.

"Why are you two covered in paint?" TJ asked them, looking at them with furrowed eyebrows.

Riley smiles. "Road trip. Went looking for Maya."

"Oh. Did you find her?" Lucas questioned. 

Maya grabs a fistful of his hoodie he wore, pulling him to her. "You make a decision about us, Ranger Rick?"

Lucas nods, smiling slightly. "I did."

"Yeah?" Maya lets go of his hoodie with a small smile. "Well, it doesn't matter."

"Yeah, it does!" Farkle exclaimed.

"Yeah, we've been waitin' for, like, two years." Zay chimed in.

"I haven't, but I still also wanna know who he picked." TJ admits. "The suspense is killing me."

"No." Maya shakes her head, looking over at Lucas. "It doesn't matter because...You picked Riley."

Riley looks at her with wide eyes. "What? How do you know?" She smiles excitedly. "Yay! Oh, I'm sorry Maya." She hugs onto Maya as she grins. "Yay!"

Riley lets go of Maya as Maya continued to speak. "Because no matter who you picked, you picked Riley. You pick her, you got Riley. You pick me, you got Riley. 'Cause that's who I've been lately."

"That makes a lot of sense." TJ mumbled. 

"What do you wanna do?" Lucas questioned, looking at Maya with furrowed eyebrows.

"I need to decide whatever way I like you and if I like someone else..." Maya replied, glancing over TJ with a small smile before looking back at Lucas. TJ looks at her with wide eyes. He wasn't for sure if she was talking about him, but part of him wanted her to be talking about him.

"Maya, I want you to know that you've been a big influence on me, too." Riley told her, putting her hands on Maya's shoulders.

Maya smiles at her. "Thanks."

"And when you find yourself? Please don't lose me completely." Riley pleaded.

Maya nods, shrugs. "We'll see how it goes."

Riley takes her hands off of Maya's shoulders. "Do you think I'm a geek?"

"Of course not." Maya shook her head.

Riley grins, elbowing her. "Do you think I'm cool?"

"Of course not." Maya said again.

Riley sighs. "Then what am I?"

"You're Riley." Maya smiles. "And I'm Maya, just like it always has been."

The boys smile at the girls and Riley scoots over, letting TJ sat between her and Maya while Farkle and Zay sat beside Riley.

"You like Maya." Lucas realized, looking at TJ with wide eyes. 

TJ's eyes widens and he chuckles nervously. "What?" He scoffs. "Pff, no I don't. You like Maya."

"Yeah," Zay nods. "We already knew that." 

"It's obvious you like her." Farkle tells TJ. "We see the way you look at her and how you talk about her." 

The four boys were now sitting on the bay window since Riley and Maya walked back out to the living room.  "I-I don't..." TJ stutters, his face turning pink. He sighs heavily when he realized he couldn't keep his feelings for Maya hidden from the boys any longer. "Okay, so what if I like her?" He throws his arms up out of frustration. "Nothing is gonna happen because of this stupid love triangle going on."

"I think she likes you too." Lucas said. TJ stared at him with surprise, wondering if what he said was true. It's a possibility that Maya could like him back, but he highly doubts that.

"Yeah, like that'll ever happen." TJ scoffs. Lucas looks at him with furrowed eyebrows as TJ asks, "Why would she ever like someone like me when there's someone as perfect as you to like?"

"I feel like there's a fight that's gonna happen..." Farkle whispered to Zay. 

"Should we leave? I don't wanna get caught in a fight." Zay whispered back to him.

Lucas lets out a small laugh in disbelief. "That's what you think of me? TJ, I'm far from perfect."

TJ stares at him with an 'are you serious' expression. "Are you kidding me? You just scream perfect." TJ gestures to Lucas, feeling like he was growing angry each second he spoke. "You always get good grades, never do anything wrong, and everybody likes you. You're literally 'Lucas the Good'."

"You seem angry..." Lucas noticed, feeling bad that TJ felt this way about him. He didn't realize how much TJ didn't like him.

"Yeah, I'm angry at a lot of people, idiot with a face." TJ glared at him.

"So, what are you gonna do about it?" Lucas nervously asked. 

"This is our cue to leave." Zay said to Farkle. Farkle nodded in agreement and the two boys were quick to climb out the window. 

"This!" TJ roughly pushed Lucas off the bay window.

Lucas winced when he fell on the floor. He holds his side, hesitantly sitting back on the bay window beside TJ. "Okay, I guess I deserved that."

"Look, I'm sorry." Lucas apologizes, looking at TJ who stared at the floor. "I don't mean to make you feel angry. You might punch me after I tell you this, but I think you need to tell Maya how you feel about her." 

TJ looks up at him with narrowed eyes as he said that. Lucas nods at him. "She deserves to know. Maybe knowing how you feel will help her decide how she feels about us."

"Even if I wanted to tell her, I couldn't. I'm awful with explaining how I feel." TJ admitted.

"You write songs, right?" Lucas asks him and TJ nods in response. "Then write your feelings into a song and sing it to her. Hopefully she'll get the message."

"That's actually not a bad idea..." TJ's voice trailed off. He looks down, suddenly finding his shoes interesting as he decides to sing the song 'Bright' to Maya since he finally finished it the other day.

"I'm sorry for pushing you." TJ apologized.

Lucas sends him a small smile. "It's alright, TJ. Friends?" He reached his hand out to TJ.

TJ smiles, nodding his head as he shakes Lucas' hand. "Friends."

"Is it safe to come back in?" Farkle questioned, peeking his head through the window. 

Lucas and TJ chuckle at him. "Yeah, you guys can come back now." TJ nodded. 

"Oh, good. It was getting cold out there." Zay commented as he climbed back through the window after Farkle.

The four boys peek out into the living room to see what was going on, smiling when they see that Shawn was asking Katy, Maya's mother, to marry him. Everyone grew happy as Katy said yes. The girls hugged each other while Katy and Shawn kissed.
