"Girl Meets Ski Lodge-Part One"

TJ was late to class. He didn't mean to be late. He slept in on accident, he even had an alarm set, but he slept through it. He was up most of the night before finishing homework that he regretted saving for the last minute. The good thing was that he got it all done, but then he realized it was 3 in the morning by the time he finished it. He's glad that he has his own driver because he knew he would've had to most likely take the subway and then run to school.

Back in the classroom, Cory was telling the class about human nature versus regular nature and how he doesn't like the Mount Sun Lodge which is where they're going.

"My human nature is completely under control." Maya reassures Cory. "And there's nothin' or nobody that is ever gonna change that."

"Sorry I'm late!" TJ apologized, rushing into the room carrying his blue colored duffle bag.

Maya giggles nervously. "I'm wrong."

"TJ! Nice of you to join us." Cory said to TJ, looking at him with a smile. 

TJ apologetically smiles at him, walking over to his desk. "Sorry about being late. What did I miss?" 

"Talking about the trip and how my dad hates nature." Riley replied. 

Cory nods. "Nature disgusts me." 

TJ looks at him weirdly. "Okay...Good to know." He sat down at his seat beside Maya, setting his duffle bag on his desk. 

"I was just about to tell you who you're chaperones are." Cory told the class.

"Hey, kiddies." Josh Matthews, Riley's uncle, greeted as he walked in. TJ remembered Riley telling him about Josh and how Maya has a crush on him which is not good for him. 

A smile tugs on Maya's lips. "You're my chaperone." 

Josh chuckles and nods. Topanga walks into the room with a smile on her face. "I invited him." 

Maya smiles widely at Topanga. "I love you!"

TJ narrows his eyes at Maya and then looks at Josh. He sighs, leaning back against his chair as he mumbles, "This is gonna be interesting."

"I invited him." Topanga points at Josh. "I'm coming too."

Cory stands besides his younger brother, pointing at Topanga. "I invited her." Smiling, he points at himself. "I'm smart."

Topanga crosses her arms as she looks at the class. "We'll be watching over you."

"My name is Josh," Josh introduces himself. "And I'll be with you all day and all night, so no monkey business." TJ raised his eyebrows at Maya when she started mimicking a monkey.

"Riley, how did you fall off the bus?" Maya asked Riley. She and Lucas helps Riley walk into the Mount Sun Lodge after TJ opened the door for them.

"Who does that?" Lucas questioned, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Nobody." Cory replied.

TJ chuckles. "Well, someone who's as clumsy as Riley does that."

Riley looks over to the right, smiling widely when she sees a bay window. "Ooh! Bay window! Bay window right now."

TJ leaves the love triangle alone to talk at the bay window, not wanting to be pulled into that mess. He furrowed his eyebrows when he noticed couples were everywhere in the lounge area. He then realized something and he groaned. Why did Mr. Matthews take them to the lodge on couples weekend of all weekends?

"Okay," TJ walks back over to the others, standing beside Zay as Josh speaks. "While Cory and Topanga are checking us in, let me welcome you to the Mount Sun Lodge, where we are here to turn our thoughts away from our indoor relationships and towards our relationships with the outdoors."

"Yeah, I don't think so, Cub Scout." Zay said to Josh, shaking his head.

"Might wanna look around." TJ gestured to the lounge area. Everyone looked over, their eyes widening at seeing all the couples.

Topanga looks at Cory with a glare. "You brought them here on couples weekend?"

Cory groans. "Of course I did."

"Huh, well, look at that." TJ nervously spoke after looking at the white board near the door that said couple themed events. 

"'Nature Sez: Tree's A Crowd'." Zay read.

"Huh." Riley said, looking at the white board with a wide-eyed expression.

"'Moonlight Walk: Triangle Trail'." Smackle read off the next one.

"Huh." Maya had the same wide-eyed expression on her face like Riley had.

"'Riley, Maya, Lucas. Enough already!'" Farkle read off the last one. 

TJ looks at him with furrowed eyebrows, not remembering seeing that one on the board, but then realized Farkle wrote it on with the dry erase marker he threw in the air and then caught. Farkle grins. "Huh."

"How was it?" Riley asked her friends, smiling when they walk back inside from the first hike. She had to stay behind because of her sprained ankle.

"Oh, just like you'd think." Lucas sighed.

TJ walks over to stand beside Maya, looking at Maya with a small glare. Maya just sheepishly smiles at him. "Yeah," TJ shakes his head. "Maya broke the rules." 

Riley looks at him with wide eyes. Lucas nods. "Yep. Farkle wondered off the trail, and Maya broke the rules and went after him."

"Maya, you broke the rules?" Riley questioned, carefully getting off the bay window as she stood beside her friends. 

"Yeah, she always breaks the rules, but this time she could've been killed." Lucas answers, turning to Maya with crossed arms. "It's like you never know when to stop."

"Farkle." Maya gestured to Farkle, wanting him to defend her.

Farkle points at her. "She saved my life."

Riley looks at him with concern. "Wait, what happened?"

Farkle then explains how he was chasing a rare Achemon Sphinx Moth for his collection and how he slipped off the edge of the trail when he went after the moth. He added how he was hanging by a tree branch. Zay chimed in, saying how Maya tears off the trail, jumps up, and saves him.

Riley looks at TJ, pointing at him. "Okay...TJ, what were you doing?"

"Making sure Maya or Farkle didn't hurt themselves." TJ responded. 

Riley nod's and looks at Lucas. "What were you doing?"

Lucas sighs. "I was saving Smackle."

Riley looks at Smackle. "What happened to you?"

"I was all like 'Help, Lucas. Help'." Smackle replied with a dreamy smile on her lips.

Riley furrows her eyebrows and tilts her head to the side. "All while Farkle was hanging on a tree?"

Smackle shakes her head with a grin on her lips. "No, every chance I get." TJ chuckled quietly upon seeing the shocked expression on Farkle's face when Smackle said that.

"Oh, come on, Lone Star." Maya said to Lucas. "You're not really mad at me." She looks at TJ. "And neither are you, Canada." TJ looked at her with narrowed eyes and crossed his arms. He is mad at her. She could've gotten hurt.

She looks back at Lucas. "You like when we tangle. That's what you like about me. You just don't want to admit it."

Lucas shakes his head. "No, it's not, Maya. I don't think it is."

At hearing this, Farkle, Smackle, TJ, and Zay walk over to the lounge area, feeling like the love triangle needed some time to talk. "Why are you two with us?" Farkle looked back at them with furrowed eyebrows.

"'Cause as crazy as you two are, you're nowhere near as messed up as them." Zay responded, pointing back at the love triangle.

"Yeah, I agree." TJ nodded.

Farkle just shruged his shoulders and the four of them sat at the fire place.

That night was movie night so all the students were now hanging out in the lounge area. TJ sat on the couch beside Smackle and Farkle, looking towards the door when Josh walks out, holding some movies. "Movie night!"

"Alright, we got a bunch to pick from, let's see what we got here." Josh smiled and started looking through the movie choices.

"I want a spy thriller." Maya said, sitting at the fireplace between Riley and Lucas. "Two spies in love with lots of danger."

"Why does it always gotta be danger with you?" Lucas asked her.

Riley then explained how she wants to watch a romance movie because she wants to cry her eyes out. 

"Okay, so dangerous life with you," Lucas points at Maya and then points at Riley. "And crying my eyes out with you. That's what we got here. No other choices?" He looked at Josh who shakes his head.

"Oh, believe me," Josh chuckles. "The story of your lives is better than whatever we got here." He gestured to the movies in his hand, laying them down on the table behind him. 

"Okay, well, if we're gonna decide this then we should imagine what our lives would be like together." Lucas said.

"Okay," Maya smiles. "Here's ours."

After Maya and Riley explained what their lives with Lucas would be like, everyone just found out that they would both be very different. One filled with danger and romance and the other was just romance, but a bit more dramatic.

Zay complained about how there wasn't a fight and that he wanted one and then he had a small one with Farkle. Everyone eventually left to do their own thing. By this time, it was dark outside and TJ decided to sit at the bay window to look out at the sky.

"TJ?"

He looks over where he heard his name be called, smiling when he sees a familiar face. "Coral!" He got up and eagerly goes over to the brunette- haired girl who just walked in.

"It's so great to see you!" He exclaimed, looking at her with a bright smile.

Coral smiles back at him as they hug each other. "You too, TJ."

At the fireplace, Riley, Maya, and Lucas noticed this interaction and Maya frowns. "Who is that?"

"Probably a friend of TJ." Lucas replied.

"He has friends outside of us?" Riley looks at the Texan boy with surprised and he shrugs. "I guess so."

"And what kind of name is Coral?" Maya scoffs. "Did her parents just look at the ocean and say 'Oh, let's name our daughter Coral 'cause it's such a lovely name'?" She said sarcastically.

Riley smiles. "I think it's a pretty name."

"Yeah, it is pretty." Maya grumbled, slumping her shoulders.
