Ok this chapter starts on Friday. I skipped over Thursday because Thursday is for chumps... Wait... SMACKDOWN comes on, on Thursdays... ON TO THE STORY!

Dean's POV

"Be careful alright?" Nikki said as she gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I will," I tell her, "And you be careful too. I don't need you breaking your neck with all those flips you do."

She smiled, "See you at the game."

I wave to her and walk out to the car. The school was getting ready to put on a pep rally before the game, and Nikki had to stay and cheer do it. I on the other hand, had to go pick up some rugrats, a.k.a Sarah and Benny.

I had promised to take them to a football game one day... I don't think they'll be expecting today. Plus, I was going to see what Megan could do about letting me keep them for the entire night so they could spend the night at my house.

I hop in the car, then start it and drive down the road.

Honestly , I was kinda excited. It had been almost a full week since I had seen either one of them. I mean I called them about two or three days ago, but it's different seeing them in person.

I drive for about twenty minutes and finally pull into the parking lot of 'Sheridan's Gifted Orphanage' or as Sarah called it, 'The Unwanted House'.

I park the car, get out, and walk to the front door and go inside.

I had never been inside of here. The last time, I sent Roman and Naomi to come get them. The building was pretty big and inside it kinda reminded me of a waiting room at the doctors office.

I walk up to the middle aged lady at the front desk, "I need to speak with Megan Adams, please."

She nodded, "Sending her a message right now, sweet pea. She'll be here soon."

Megan Adams was the lady that helped us get the kids to leave the first time. I've spoken with her over the phone and she seems pretty cool. Sarah and Benny think the same thing as well.

"Hey," I hear as a lady around her early twenties said as she approached me, "You must be Dean. I'm Megan, well yeah, you must know that."

I smile at her and shake her hand, "Nice to finally meet you in person."

"You as well," She said with a smile, "Come on. I think Benny is in his room and Sarah is in the lunch hall."

She leads me down a hallways with several doors on each side. She stops in front of one and knocks.

"Benny Bear!" She said, "You in here?"

"Yes!" He said back, "I'm too busy colorings Meagan! You opens the door!"

We both smiled as she opened the door to the room. Benny was lying in the center of the room with crayons scattered everywhere.

"I'm coloring a dinosaur." He said while he continued to color, "It's gonna be black and yellow, like a bumble bee."

"A bumble bee as in a bug," I ask him, "or Bumble Bee as in Transformers?"

His head shoots up and he looks at me with wide eyes, then smiles.

"Dean!" He shouted as ran over to me and hugged my leg, "What are you doing here?"

"Well," I say as I pick him up, "Didn't I promise to take you and Sarah to a football game?"

"I didn't know you meant today!" He said to me.

I smile and look at Megan, "I was kinda wondering... If they could spend the night at my place? And kinda hang out with me tomorrow? My friend has some family coming down tonight, and I'd really like for them to meet them. Plus, it'd be fun."

"Please Meagan!" Benny asked her loudly.

Megan shrugged, "I don't see why you couldn't. I could definitely make up some lie about where they are."

"Megan is a amazing liar." Benny said while nodding.

"I really need to be a better influence," Megan said with a laugh, "Benny, go put some clothes in one of the bags I got you a couple months ago. We're going to go get Sarah."

Benny nodded and I put him down while Megan lead me to where Sarah was.

"They love you, ya know." Megan said as we continued to walk, "They talk about you constantly."

I laugh, "I really like'em. There cool kids and I hope they find a good home one day."

Megan sighed, "Me too... Sarah has been near adoption about six times, but the family always backs out or chooses another kid. And Benny... Poor baby, no ones even wanted to interview with him. I would personally talk both of them home with me any day, but I can barley support myself..."

"They deserve so much more than what they have." I say to her while shaking my head.

Megan nods, "Benny still has a little time, but Sarah's time is running out. What I mean by that is, at around the age of 13, it gets a million times harder to adopt. She's nine right now, she has four years left..."

She stops in front of a door and looks at me, "Have you ever considered adopting?"

I laugh slightly, "I'm still seventeen. The word 'kid' kinda freaks me out still... But there special kids."

She shrugs, "It's always something to think about. Come on, last time I saw her, she was in here."

She opened the door and we walked into what seemed like a small kitchen, there was a little girl sitting down at a table reading a book, but it want Sarah.

Megan looked around, then at the little girl.

"Millie," Megan said to her, "Have you seen Sarah."

Millie sighed, "She went outside because Janet was messing with her again."

I frown slightly, "Who's Janet?"

"This really mean girl." Millie said to me, "Please adopt her so I don't have to deal with her anymore. You can leave her outside in the rain for all I care, just get her away from here."

"Not nice Millie," Megan said to her, "I'll talk to Janet about this later. Come on Dean, I know where Sarah normally hangs out outside."

Megan leads me out a door that lead to a outside area with a small playground. I could see Sarah sitting on the swing set.

"Sarah." Megan said to her as we got closer to her, but she continued to look at the ground, "Are you ok?"

She nodded but wouldn't look at us, "I'm ok, Meggy."

"I have a friend here for you." Megan said to her as we sat next to her on the swing set.

"Hey Sarah." I say to her, but she continued to look at the ground.

"Hi." She said back to me, but wouldn't look at me.

"What's wrong?" I ask her but she just shook her head.

I got my knees and tilted her head up head up to where we were facing eye to eye. She looked alright, but she still seem bothered.

"Tell me what's wrong." I say to her.

She stayed quite for a minute then pushed my hand away and wiped her eyes.

"Go away," she told me and Megan, "I don't want you to see me crying."

I pull her off the swing and wrap my arms around her, "Tell me what's wrong."

She just stayed there and cried for a minute or so. I look up at Megan and saw her shaking her head, she looked tired.

After a couple minutes Sarah calmed down.

"I don't wanna stay here anymore," She said into my chest, "Everyone is mean..."

I sigh, "I'm sorry kiddo. But how about I take you away for a little while?"

She lifted up her head, "To where?"

"To a football game," I say to her, "Then we can have a sleepover at my house and tomorrow we can have fun with Roman's cousins."

"Pretty boy has cousins?" She asked me and I laughed some.

"Yep," I say to her, "You can meet tonight at the game. Does that sound good to you?"

She nods, "Yeah."

I wipe a stray tear away from her face, "Don't cry kiddo. You look less fabulous like that."

She laughed and playfully gasped, "No! I can't be less fabulous!"

I smile and stand up, "Go get some clothes for tonight and tomorrow alright?"

She nodded and ran off. I turn back to Megan who was smiling at me.

"Don't you have a girlfriend?" She asked me, "I'm pretty sure Benny said her name was Nikki."

I nod as we walk back to the building, "Yep. She loves them just as much as I do."

"Seriously," she said while punching my arm playfully, "Have you ever considered adopting? I wanna see them in good hands, and you seem like the best."

I shrug, "I'm still trying to finish high school at the moment."

"Oh," she said, "Got collage plans too."

I shake my head, "Not really."

"Then adopt!" She practically shouted, "They love you. You love them. They basically already consider themselves apart of your family."

I laugh, "Trust me. They are apart of my family. My family consists of my friends Roman and Seth, they're more like brothers though. They love them too. They're girlfriends Naomi and Paige do too. Plus AJ goes on and on about Benny. And Hunter finds Sarah a great kid. Randy, Punk, and Steph love them too. They are definitely apart of my family."

She smiled at me, "Just consider it, alright? I mean, I know that one day you may want kids of your own... But they're great."

I nod, "I'll think about it."

Megan leads me back to Benny's room, where he was sitting on the bed, swinging his feet.

"I'm ready!" Benny said while grabbing his bag and running over to me.

"Alright." I say while grabbing his bag and picking him up, "Let's go check on Sarah."

Megan walks us into a different hallway and knocks on one of the doors. Megan clears her throat.

"Hear ye Hear ye," Megan said with a funny voice, "Princess Sarah, you have visitors."

"Enter peasants!" I hear her call from the other side and I laugh.

I enter the room and looked around. It was a combination of every freakin color in the rainbow and a lot of wrestling posters and picture of celebrities. Interesting...

"I can't decide," Sarah said, "Should I choose the shirt with the cupcake or the one with the sparkly rain drop? What do you think Nikki would like?"

"The one with the sparkles." I say to her, Nikki loved anything that had glitter.

"Ok!" Sarah shouted and shoved the shirt in her bag, "I'm all ready!"

"Alright then," I say, "We can go drop the bags off at my house. I think Roman's cousins are already there and then we can head out to the game with them."

"Is Roman's cousins going to be sleeping over with us at your house?" Benny asked as we walked out the room.

"Nah," I say to him, "They're staying at a hotel because my house is small."

"Are they pretty like pretty boy?" Sarah asked.

"Uh," I say, unsure of what to say, "Sure Sarah."

She laughed, "Score."

"Don't be weird Sarah." Benny said to her.

I laughed at Megan walked with us out to my car.

"You two be good for Dean." Megan said while buckling in Benny for me and Sarah sat up front with me. I really wanted her to sit in the back, for safety reasons, but she wouldn't listen to me.

"Bye Megan!" They both shouted as I back out of the parking lot. I wave to her one last time before driving off down the road.

For the next 25 minuets or so, we talked about a episode of SpongeBob, what's our favorite candy, what Sarah did at school today, and Benny's favorite pair of shoes. They may be childish conversations but I honestly, couldn't ask for anything better at the moment.

I pull into our yard and see Jimmy's car parked there as well. I knew they had a key so they could get in.

"Come on." I say to them as they both grab their bags and get out of the car.

I unlock the front door and walk inside.

"Whoever's in my house," I shout, "I'm home!"

"Dean?" I hear Jimmy's voice, "We're in the living room."

"Come on," I say to Benny and Sarah, "Follow me."

I walk into the living room and am immediately embraced by a pair of huge arms.

"What up Ambrose?" I hear Dwayne say.

"Nothing much Dwayne," I say to him, "Your kinda crushing me though."

He laughed and let me go then looked at Sarah and Benny and smiled.

"Who's the kids?" Jey asked as he walked over to us.

"This is Sarah and Benny." I say to them, "There kids from the orphanage. There gonna come watch the game with us tonight, then spend the night and hang out with us tomorrow."

"It's nice to meet you." Jimmy said as he shook both of their hands.

"Your pretty boys cousins?" Sarah asked.

Jey laughed, "Pretty boy?"

I smile and shake my head, "Roman."

"Oh," Dwayne said with a laugh, "Then yes we are sweetheart."

"I can see the resemblance." Sarah said with a nod.

"Where did you learn big words like that?" I ask her.

"The discovery," Benny said, "Duh."

"What's the discovery?" Jimmy asked.

"That big book with a whole lot of words in it." Benny said to him.

"Oh." Jimmy said, realizing he meant Dictionary, "I'm a dummy. I should have known."

Dwayne smiled, "What time does the game start and where's Seth?"

"The game starts in about a hour," I say to them, "And Seth wanted to stay as the school to hang out with his girlfriend before the game."

"Girlfriend?" All three of them say.

"When Seth get a girlfriend?" Jey asked, "And when can we meet her?"

"About two weeks ago," I tell him, "And you've meet her before. But you'll see her again tonight."

"I guess we should head over there," Dwayne said, "Might as well get a good seat."

I nod, "Let me go put there bags down and I'll be out in a minute."

Jimmy nodded, "Jey and Dwayne can ride with me. We're headed to the hotel right after the game anyways. We'll see you there."

"See you in a couple minutes." I say to them as they walk out the door.

"Follow me." I say to them and they follow me to my room.

"This is your room?" Benny asked me as I opened the door.

"Why is there two beds?" Sarah asked me.

"Cause Seth sleeps there." I tell them as I set there bags on my bed.

Sarah runs over to Seth's bed and lays down on it.

"What are you doing?" I ask her with a laugh.

"I don't know," she told me with a laugh as she got up.

"Sarah can be weird." Benny said with a laugh.

She nodded, "Real shit."

"Sarah!" I practically shout, "That's a bad word. You can't say that."

"Why not?" She asked me as she walked out of the room.

"Because it's a bad word and little girls shouldn't say that." I say to her.

She shrugs, "Well ok."

I sigh slightly, "Come on. It's time for your first game."

They both cheered and ran out of the house.

"Stop running before you fall!" I shout to them.

I smile and shake my head as I lock the door and head out to the car.

'This was gonna be a good night.' I think to myself.

"Lets go Cats!" Stephanie shouted along with a ton of other people as Hunter scored us yet another touch down.

"At least we're coming to a game and there winning!" Jey laughed.

It was near the end of fourth quarter and we we had the Kameronville Jaguar beat 56-0. If we win this game, which we will, that means we're definitely going to the playoffs, and we're still undefeated.

That's what was going to make the homecoming game so special. Because if we win next weeks game, then we're still undefeated. And so is Jasport. Having two undefeated teams go against each other was a huge deal, especially if we're already rivals.

I turn to Sarah and Benny and see that they were hooked on the game. Well, Benny was. Sarah was in between watching the game and trying to reach for Seth's cheese fries, which he was holding above his head so she couldn't reach them.

"Give me some fries!" Sarah said while trying to reach for them again.

"Didn't you already have a whole plate full?" Seth asked her while looking at the field.

"I'm still hungry!" She shouted at him, "Just give me one, all I need is one."

Seth sighed and handed her one fry, which she ate quickly.

"Let me have another one." She said to him.

Paige laughed, "Here Sarah. You can have mine."

Sarah crossed over Seth and sat in Paige's lap and began to eat, "Paige is nice to me."

Seth rolled his eyes but smiled, "Of course she is."

"I am nice." Paige said with a smile to him.

I heard a lot of people say 'ooo' and I looked back at the field.

"Damn it Roman." I hear Dwayne mumble.

I hadn't seen the hit Roman had took and I couldn't see him too well with all the coaches and emergency ambulance people surrounding him.

"How bad he get hit?" I ask.

"Number 78 on the Jaguars took him out." Punk said to me.

I look at the number and my eyes widen some.

"That is a big boy..." I mumble to myself.

"He better sit the rest of this game out," Jey said, "Cause we all know he'll try to get back in there and play."

I heard people start to clap as Roman stood up. He was holding his side but was still walking. He walked over and said something to Coach Jacks, then went right back out to the field and got ready for the next play.

"See wha I mean?" Jey said, "I don't feel like going to the hospital tonight cause he decided to break all of ribs."

"He'll be fine." Dwayne said, but he still looked a little nervous.

On the next play, Roman basically lifted the guy who tackled him at first, off the ground, the slammed him on the ground. Which our side when crazy for.

"That boy is crazy." Jimmy said with a laugh.

"Go Romen!" Benny shouted and I smiled at him.

He tuned to me, "Where's Nikki?"

I point to the track that surrounded the football field.

"Oh I see her now!" He said to me, "She looks pretty."

"You trying to steal my girlfriend?" I ask him while tickling him.

He laughed and squirmed away from me, then came back and sat in my lap.

I saw Jimmy whisper something to Jey while looking at us.

"You say something Jimmy?" I ask him wile smirking.

He gave me a genuine smile, "Nothing but good things man."

I smile to myself and continue to watch the game.

Tonight had been a really good night. Nothing has gone wrong. I even got things worked out with John, not that we really had in problems... Well any problems that I had personally told him about.

I got to spend time with my family. It's funny really. I'm not related to any of them. Not Jimmy, Jey, or Dwayne. Not even Seth or Roman. Nor the rest of them... But to me, they're the only real family I got. And I'm not afraid to stick up, or defend any of them.

The crowd cheered as the last seconds on the clock struck down. Another game won.

"Let's go down to the track," I say to them, "Naomi and Nikki and there and Roman, Randy and Hunter will be there soon."

Everyone nodded and began to make their way out of the stands.

"You looked beautiful tonight." I say to Nikki as I give her a quick kiss.

"Ew." I heard Benny said, "Your too old to do that."

Nikki laughed and picked him up, "It's nice to see you too Benny. Hey Jimmy, Hey Jey... Um..."

"I'm stupid," I say while hitting my head, Nikki didn't know Dwayne, "This is Roman's other cousin Dwayne Johnson. Dwayne, this is my girlfriend Nikki. And that's Naomi, Roman's girlfriend."

"When did Roman get a girlfriend?" Jey asked.

"Like two days ago..." Naomi said while looking at the ground.

"Well welcome to the family." Jimmy said to her with a smile.

"In all honesty," Jey said, "You too pretty for him. Roman looks like he got hit with a truck as a child."

"I heard that Jey." Roman said as he approached us, "And you hitting me in the head with a toy truck when I was seven doesn't count."

"Counts to me..." Jey said.

"You ok." Naomi asked him.

"Yeah," Jimmy asked, "Why did your dumbass go back out there after getting hurt?"

"Yeah," Sarah said while running over to him, "Don't be a dumbass."

I sigh, "Thanks a lot Jimmy... Sarah that's a bad word."

"Jimmy said it!" She said while pointing at Jimmy, who was laughing.

Dwayne hit him in the back of the head and he stopped.

"Dwayne!" Jimmy said while rubbing his head, "Don't hit me like that dude. Imma need head sugary after this."

"Stop being a bad influence." Dwayne said to him then looked to Roman, "You alright, right."

Roman shrugged, "It's gonna hurt for a while, but that normal... Uh you said we could bring friends over tomorrow right?"

Jimmy nodded, "Yep."

"You guys wanna come over?" Roman asked all of us as Randy and Hunter cam over as well.

"I can't," Paige said, "I already promised to help out mum at the hospital."

Stephanie shook her head, "I have to drive down to Savannah with my family with weekend."

"I kinda already had plans..." Randy said while trailing off.

Roman smirked, "Eva?"

Randy blushed some, "Maybe..."

"I have to work cause I missed like three days this week." Hunter said.

"I think I can come." Nikki said to me, "I mean, I'm not doing anything."

"I can come too." Naomi said, "Dad doesn't get back in till Sunday morning so I can go, no doubt."

"We can try to make it," AJ said while patting Punks arm.

I nod, "Plus these little guys will be there."

"I'm a girl." Sarah said to me.

"It's a expression Sarah." I say to her.

"You say that like I'm supposed to know what that means." She says back to me.

"Basically me after Mr.Keeland explains something in Physics." Paige said with a laugh.

"That old man is still teaching?" Dwayne practically shouted.

"I remember him," Jey mumbled, "He failed me like four times on purpose."

I raise a eyebrow, "On purpose?"

"Well... I kinda just failed a lot of papers too..." Jey said, "But he could have helped me out, like dang!"

We all laugh and listen to a couple more of their high school stories while Roman, Randy, and Hunter went to shower and change. Once they come back, Jimmy, Jey and Dwayne head off to their hotel, while Roman, Seth, Benny, Sarah and I head back to our place.

Right when we got in the car, Benny fell strait to sleep while Sarah was talking nonsense just to keep herself awake.

By the time we got to the house though, she was out like a light.

I smile and grab Benny while Roman grabbed Sarah and Seth unlocked the door for us.

"I'm not sleep." Sarah mumbled against Roman.

"Sure you aren't kid." Roman said with a laugh as he gently set down on the couch, I'm pretty sure his side still hurt like hell.

She yawned but out off of him, "I wanna go take a bath with Benny, then Benny can go to sleep while we stay up and watch movies."

I laugh slightly, "You need me to come help you?"

She shook her head, "I do it all the time when Megan isn't there."

I raise a eyebrow, "Don't more people work there than just Megan."

Sarah grabbed Benny from me and began to walk off but I hear her mumble something along the lines of, "They don't give a damn about us..."

'You need to talk to her about her language...' I think to myself, but I couldn't help myself but get a little mad about what she said.

Not her language, but what she said about them not caring about them. From what I saw when I went today, you could kinda tell Megan was the only one that showed any affection to these kids. For heavens sake, Sarah was all alone on a swing set and nobody went to go check on her except Megan and I, and that was only after we found out.

After about thirty minutes, Sarah emerged in her night clothes with Benny walking sleepily behind her. Though Sarah looked pretty tired herself.

"Movie time." Sarah said as she sat between Roman and Seth and Benny climbed on my lap.

"More like bed time." I say with a laugh.

"But I wanna watch a movie." Sarah said with a yawn.

"We'll watch one tomorrow," I say to her, "Now come on."

I walk back to my room and lay Benny down on my bed and Sarah sits there too, while I change clothes inside our small closet quickly, I would take a shower in the morning.

I walk out the closet and walk over to the bed. I move Benny to one side then place Sarah on the other side.

"But I'm not tired." She said as she laid her head on the pillow and scooted closer to me.

"Yes you are." I said to her. Benny had already fell back to sleep once again.

"No I'm not." She said as she began to drift off.

"Stop arguing with me," I say to her with a small laugh.

"I'm not." She said back to me as she slipped out of consciousness.

I sigh and pull both of them closer to me.

Honestly, the only thing missing for me right now was Nikki right next to me.

'You ever consider adopting?' I hear Megan's voice say in my head.

If someone would have asked me that about a week ago, I would have flat out said no...

But now... I find the possibility getting higher and higher...

Chapter 37.... I'm pretty sure it's 37... Is up! (I really need to keep track of these chapters...)

I didn't think I was gonna update today... But I wanted to get one out since I'm pretty sure it may be almost a full week (I know... It hurts me too) till I update again.

Not much happened in this chapter, this chapter actually just came off the top of my head, but I promise, more exciting stuff is about to come up! (Like in the next chapter)

ANYWAYS! I DIDNT DIE YESTERDAY!

Yeah this idiot had a knife at the mall while these little girls were putting on a pageant (creepo) and was talking about the confederate flag and shit.

Long story short, he got arrested. It was a interesting sight....

MOVING ON!

I gotta go! But I'll update when I can (It kills me to say that...)
