Jealous Much?
Roman's POV
"Attention all seniors," the voice of our schools secretary, Mrs. Adams, announced over speaker, "Please make your way to the auditorium. You will be returning to class 2nd period."
Dean groans behind me, "I just sat down. My feet hurt. Do you know how far Nikki's homeroom is from here?"
I laugh at him and stand up, "Oh stop complaining. You get to miss homeroom and a class period. Be grateful."
Dean groans and stands up, "The auditorium is so far away! Carry me, dude."
I raise an eyebrow, "Uh, no." Then start to walk out the door to the auditorium. Dean groans but follows me anyway.
"Oh come on Roman!" Dean says, "I will freakin pay you!"
I laugh and keep walking, "With what money?"
"From my paycheck, duh." Dean says and I stop walking and look back at him. He was smirking at me.
"You got a job?" I asked him.
"Yep," Dean said while nodding, "At Jenny's Diner. Dolph works there too, but you know, he's off for about another three weeks. I'm a freakin waiter dude! Can you believe it?"
I smile at him. He seemed generally excited about working. I think I was too when I first started, but then it became tiring especially after a full day of school and practice.
"When did you even find time to apply?" I ask him.
"Right after I left Dolph's house on Friday. I ran by there to pick up a application. I filled it out yesterday and Nikki gave me a ride to go give it to them. They called me early this morning and said they'd love for me to start as soon as possible. So I'll be a official Jenny's Diner employee starting Tomorrow." Dean said to me, "And I'm gonna be a freakin waiter dude! I cannot believe that!"
I laugh, "That's good, Dean. Glad to see you join the work force."
"Yeah I guess," Dean said, "Now about carrying me?"
I groan, "I guess, you can-" I stop talking as Dean jumped on my back almost causing me to fall.
"Onward!" He shouted hitting my shoulder.
"Good Grief Dean," I say while walking slowly, "You weigh too much for me to be carrying."
"Oh stop complaining, Mr. I-can-bench-almost- two hundred pounds." Dean says hitting my arm, "Now Onward!"
I groan, but walk all the way across the school to get to the auditorium with Dean on my back.
I open the door and see that most of the seats had already been filled and it was going to be hard for us to find a seat.
"Roman? Dean?" I hear Stephanie voice ask and I turn towards her. "What on earth are you doing two doing?"
"Well," Dean said to her, "I always wanted to see how it was to be tall... So I decided to ride on the Giants back."
I roll my eyes, "Dean you are just as tall as me."
"You guys are weird," Stephanie says, "But come on. We got seats for you guys. We're all sitting over here."
Stephanie leads us over to the area where the rest of our friends were sitting, the only one not here yet was Randy. They all look at us strangely.
"Um, Dean," Nikki said, "What are you doing?"
"Enjoying the view, babe." Dean said and I roll my eyes.
"Alright," I say trying to shake him off, "Get off me."
Dean hops off my back and takes his seat next to Nikki.
"I think there's a seat next to Naomi," Nikki said to me.
"Of course there is." I mumble as I go down one row and take one of the two empty seats next to her.
I sit down and I catch her glance at me then look back to her phone.
"Good morning." I say trying to be nice.
She rolls her eyes, "It was, until you came over here."
I glare at her. I tried being nice. But if she wants to be rude, then so can I.
"A simple 'good morning' would have been a better answer." I say to her, annoyed, "In fact, it would have been even better if you would have kept your mouth shut."
She glares at me, "I'm really not in the mood Reigns. So just shut the fuck up, ok?"
I glare back at her then smirk and decide to mess with her a little, "Tired of me running around in that little head of yours?"
"You haven't been in there and you really wouldn't want to be..." She says looking away from me and back at her phone.
I raise a eyebrow, normally she would have replied back with some smartass comeback or just yell at me. Maybe she really wasn't in the mood.
'Just leave her alone, Roman' I thought to myself.
She looked up from her phone and looked around, then stood up and waved her hand.
"Over here!" She shouted then took her seat again. A couple seconds later Randy came and sat in the other empty seat next to Naomi.
"Good morning," he said with a smile to Naomi as he sat down.
"Good morning," she said back to him with a bright smile.
'What the heck?' I think to myself, 'I thought she wasn't in the mood? ... Why are you acting surprised? She doesn't like you.'
"What's up, Reigns?" Randy says to me.
"Nothin much, Ortan." I say back to him.
"Guy talk is so simple." Naomi said rolling her eyes with a smile.
"Well it's better than gossiping all day." Randy said with a laugh.
"Girls don't gossip all day!" Naomi said with a laugh.
I roll my eyes at their conversation and toon them out. I wasn't interested in their flirt fest.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out. It was a message from Dean.
Dean: Jealous much?
I look at the row behind me and see him smirking at me while Nikki talked to Paige.
I roll my eyes but respond.
Roman: jealous of what?
Not even a second later, he responded.
Dean: you know... Of Randy and Naomi.
I roll my eyes again.
Roman: why would I be jealous? What? Are they dating or something?
Dean: no their not dating... Why was that the first thing you asked, huh? I think they changed the way you spelled jealous to R-O-M-A-N 😈
I roll my eyes, and was about to respond but the auditorium lights dimmed and our principal, Mr. Kelton, appeared on the stage.
"Good morning, Senior class of 2016." Mr. Kelton said then paused.
"That was the part where you yell and cheer!" He said and we did just that. Mr. Kelton was honestly the coolest principle that probably ever lived.
"Ok, ok, settle down." He said with a laugh and we started to calm down.
"But Mr. K!" I heard Dean shout behind me, "You got us riled up and we can't just stop!" And we all started cheering again.
"Ambrose," Mr Kelton said seriously, but you could tell he wanted to laugh, "Do you me to give you a detention?"
"I would really appreciate of didn't do that!" Dean yelled back and all of us laugh.
"Then quite down," he said and we all got quite.
He cleared his throat, "Good morning. I hope you all had a nice first week back. And I hope that all of you have a nice year. It's your Senior year and your suppose to have fun, so don't be afraid to go out on a limb. Just as long as you don't end up in jail, pregnant, or in my office, I don't care."
We laugh. Our principal was pretty open about any subject. He was easier to talk to than the school councilor.
"But as fun as Senior year can be, it also has a lot of responsibilities." Mr. Kelton continued, "I mean think about it guys and girls. Your almost, if not already, considered an adult. You're going to have a lot of big decisions to make in the next nine months. One of them may be choosing a college."
I groan at the mention of college. I knew it was important thing, but I honestly didn't want to think about it. College was just another word that meant, 'it's the last thing you parents will ever help you out with.' My parents had agreed to pay for whatever college I wanted to go to, but after that, they wanted nothing more to do with me. Most people though that out of Dean, Seth and I, that i got the best childhood... Well it may have not been as bad as theirs, but I promise it wasn't much better. Nobody really knows that though, not even Seth or Dean, I don't like to talk about it.
"Now I know some of you might be saying, 'I'm not going to college'," Mr. Kelton continued, "And I know I can't change your mind, but college is something you all should consider. Its nothing like High School is. It's an entire new ballpark. And I myself, highly suggest it. Now on the topic of college, let's talk about collage applications. And what would look better on a collage than community service."
We all groan.
"Community Service?" I heard someone say.
"So basically working for free?" I heard another person say, "No thanks, I think I'll pass."
"Quite down," Mr. Kelton said and we did, "Now I know all of you don't really want to do community service, but I think it would be good for each and everyone of you. Weather your going to college or not."
"Now each student will have to complete forty hours of community. That's the same amount of hours that you spend at school a week. We have several options to spend your hours working. It doesn't matter where you choose, but only two people can work per business/organization. And before you ask, no, working at your regular job does not count."
Most of us groan again.
"Oh, be quite." Mr. Kelton said with a laugh, "You have till the end of the year to complete your hours. And if you choose not to complete your hours, then it will result in holding your diploma until you actually complete your hours."
"So there really is no way out of this, is there?" Naomi mumbled beside me.
"I know some of you may not like this idea right now, but you never know, maybe you'll enjoy working there. Plus you can take your time with it. If you wanted to work just one Saturday every two weeks then you could. When you get to your second period class, your teacher will give you the clock in sheet. You will give that to whoever is in charge of the business at the end of your time working for that day. They will sign it saying that you completed however many hours that day. And I suggest you not lose that paper, you may have to start all the way over of you do." Mr. Kelton said, "Now, let's move on to something more appealing to High School students, such as Homecoming."
Some people cheered as we moved on to a more interesting topic.
For about another hour we talked about upcoming events in our senior year, then he released us to go back to class.
"So who wants to run for Homecoming Queen?" Stephanie asked as we walked down the hallway.
"Not me." Paige said, "I'm not into that whole time 'Queen' thing."
"But your the 'Raven Queen'." I say teasing her.
She rolled her eyes but smiled.
"Well if you get nominated then you have no choice." AJ said.
"Nobody freakin nominate me then!" Paige said. "Why don't you go for it Naomi?"
Naomi turned from her conversation with Randy, "Huh?" She asked.
I rolled my eyes, and I saw Dean smirk at me, which only caused me to roll my eyes again.
"Are you gonna run for Homecoming Queen?" Paige asked.
"Oh, girl, probably not. I don't think I'm 'Queen' Material. Nikki you should try out." Naomi said.
"Heck no," Nikki said, "Brie is running and I do not want to get involved."
"That's if she gets nominated," AJ said, "I wouldn't dare run for that, but why don't you Stephanie?"
Stephanie waved her hand, "I want Prom Queen, not Homecoming."
"Girls are really involved for this stuff," Randy said, "You don't hear guys going around talking about, 'So who's gonna run for Homecoming King?'" He mimicked a girls voice.
Naomi hit him while laughing, "We do not sound like that!"
I resist the urge to roll my eyes again, do so Dean wouldn't smirk at me again, cause if he did I was going to strangle him.
I wasn't jealous. It just annoyed me that she was laughing and flirting with Randy so much.
'That's called Jealousy' I thought to myself.
I shake my head. There was no way i was Jealous of Naomi.
"I need to go to the bathroom guys," I say to them. "I'll catch up with you later." Then walk off.
I didn't go to the bathroom but I went out of a door that lead to a student area with benches and a couple basketball goals. I didn't feel like going back to class yet, and decided I would rather just be late.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out to look at it.
Dean: hello mr.jealous! How our you on this fine jealousy filled day?
I rolled my eyes. He was beginning to annoy the hell out of me.
I was not jealous!
Jealousy was basically desiring something or someone that someone else had.
I don't want Naomi. For all I care Randy could have her!
'You need to stop lying to yourself, Roman,' I think to myself, though I really wish I hadn't.
You do not want Naomi.
You do not want Naomi....
You do not want Naomi.... Right?

Chapter 12 is up! It's not as long as some of the others... It's also not one of my best chapters, but it's been a loooonnnggg day.
I would just like to put this out there, because I have got some questions about this.
But no, I do not hate Brie Bella. Like at all. Just because in this book I made her that 'evil twin' doesn't mean I hate her in real life cause honestly, I love her just as much as Nikki and all the other Divas. I like Summer too, she's just not one of my favorites. So don't think that I hate them. But I'm not gonna change it up, when I have a idea in my head. I'm gonna stick with it.
Moving on!!!
