Actually it's John Green

Seth's POV

"So," AJ said while sitting down at the table, "What's everyone's plans for tonight? Anyone want to come over and watch a movie with CM and me?"

"Can't. First night of work," Dean said while eating his sandwich.

"Do you need a ride?" Nikki asked him.

Dean shook his head, "No, I'm catching a ride with Barrett. He works there too."

"Well, we have Cheer practice," Nikki said pointing to Naomi.

"We got football practice," Randy said.

"I have to work after it too..," Hunter said almost sadly.

"I got volleyball practice till seven." Stephanie said.

"I'm free for tonight, but I'm not going to watch a movie with you two," Paige said, "You two kiss too much when the lights are off..."

I laugh and shake my head, "Yeah I think I'll pass too."

"I guess it just gonna be me and you babe," Punk said pulling AJ closer to him and kissed her, "I'm perfectly fine with that."

"Get a room!" Nikki shouted playfully.

"Says you!" AJ said with a laugh, "You can't keep you hands off, Dean."

"She can't help it," Dean said with a smirk, "I'm just too attractive."

Nikki rolls her eyes, but still smiles.

"Well since only two of us are free for tonight," Dean said pointing to me and Paige, "We need to get together and do something this weekend."

"Let's go to the park." Stephanie said.

Naomi shook her head, "I didn't lose anything at a park, so there's no reason to go there."

Stephanie rolled her eyes but smiled, "You just don't want to mess up your hair."

Naomi nodded, "That too."

Dean shook his head, "It's still too hot to go to a park anyways. How about a movie?"

Roman shook his head, "Movie ticket prices go up like two bucks on weekends and the tickets original price is like six dollars. We don't have that kind of money."

"Oh, Right," Dean said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"We could go to the mall again." AJ said.

Nikki shook her head, "We go there all the time. What's something we haven't done in a while?"

"Hey!" Paige piped up, "Remember during freshman year when we went to the skating rink all the time? It's free on Saturday nights for all High School students, as long as you bring your school ID card to prove you're in high school."

"Huh," Punk said, "It has been a long time since we went skating."

"It sounds like a pretty good idea to me," Nikki said, "It's definitely been a long time since we skated."

Everyone nodded their head in agreement.

"So everyone's up for skating Saturday Night?" Dean asked, and we all nodded.

"So skating it is." Dean said, "and let's make it a little interesting."

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

Dean smirks, "Whoever is the first one to fall, has to do something."

"What's 'something'?" Randy asked.

Dean shrugs, "I don't know yet. Give me time to think of something."

"But what if you're the first one to fall?" Stephanie asked.

Dean smirked, "I am a skating champ. Did you forget that? I won't fall at all."

I remember back to Freshman year. Dean was the best skater out of us all. He could do all these turns and flips without falling. In fact, I don't ever remember Dean falling.

"Just don't make it too bad, Dean." Nikki said to him.

"I won't," Dean said with a smirk, "Or maybe I will."

"Should I feel scared?" Randy asked, "Cause right now I kinda am."

We all laugh.

"Oh it won't be that bad, Randy." Dean said.

"Crap," Roman mumbled.

"What?" I asked.

"You need a ride home," Roman said to me then he turned to Hunter, "Can you tell Coach I'm gonna be late?"

"But where gonna have to run if you show up late." Randy said.

"Well I'm sorry, but I gotta drop him off." Roman said.

"I can drop him off," Paige said. "You guys house is on my way home anyways. It won't be a problem."

"You sure?" Roman asked.

Paige nodded, "Yeah. No big deal. Seth and I have last period together anyways. I'll take him home right after."

Roman nodded, "Thanks Paige. You really saved my ass."

"Yeah," Randy said, "Cause coach isn't in the best mood today and if we would have had to run, Superman here would have got beat up."

Roman rolls his eyes, "Sure I would have."

We laugh as the bell rings signaling us to go to our next period.

"Stars, hide your fires; Let not light see my black and deep desires," Mrs. Ley said, "Can anyone tell me where this is from and who it's by?"

Dean raised his hand, and Mrs.Ley sighed. Dean normally gave an answer that didn't make very much sense.

"Yes, Mr.Ambrose?" She said tiredly.

"Shakespeare." Dean said.

Mrs.Ley gave him a surprised look, "Well yes. How did you know that?"

Dean shrugged, "The words are arranged all weird and it rhymes. And it's the only person I could think of."

Mrs. Ley sighs, "Of course. Now can anyone tell me which one of Shakespeare's plays did this quote come from?"

Brie raised her hand.

"Yes, Miss Bella?" Mrs. Ley asked.

"Macbeth." Brie said to her.

"That's correct Brianna." Mrs. Ley said to her.

"Why doesn't she question her?" I hear Naomi say behind me.

"You know she's her favorite student," I hear Paige say.

"She's everyone's favorite student," I hear Nikki say. "I'm really not sure why. And I don't care too much either."

Nikki wasn't wrong. Almost all of the teachers saw Brie as a golden child. I mean I didn't know her that well, but I know that that's a lie. Unlike everyone else, I didn't hate Brie. I didn't necessarily like her either. I mean she was just another person that I didn't talk to much. Well... She talked to me the other day at lunch... And touched my back. But she just wanted to see the Tattoo.

"Mr. Ambrose and Miss Bella were both correct." Mrs.Ley continued, "This quote came from the legendary play known as Macbeth by William Shakespeare. For the next six weeks we will be reading and researching about the play and it's director. At the end of the six weeks, you will need to have written a two page essay. You will be able to have a partner-"

At the word partner everyone started picking out their partners. Dean pointed at me, and I nodded.

"Everyone settle down." Mrs. Ley said strictly and we all got quite, "I have already preassigned your partners."

We all groan as she goes behind her desk and got the paper which I'm guessing had who we were partners with on it.

"Mr. Ambrose," Mrs. Ley said, "Your partner will be Mr. Ziggler. Now I know he doesn't return until Monday, but I trust that you will catch him up."

"Yeah, no problem." Dean said.

"Miss Fatu and Miss Nicole," Mrs. Ley said, "You are partners."

"Thank God." I hear Nikki mumble.

"Please don't stick me with someone stupid." Paige chanted.

"The next group I decided to make a group of three since we do have a odd number of Students," Mrs Ley continued, "So, Miss Young, Miss Belvis and Mr. Farrelly, you will be a group."

"Renee and Shamus?" Paige mumbled, "That's not too bad. Renee's cool and Shamus is bearable... I could live with this."

"Mr. Rollins and Miss Brianna you will be partners." Mrs. Ley said.

Brie turns around and smiles at me. I give her a nervous smile in return. I didn't really know how this was gonna work out...

"Oh gosh," Naomi said while patting my back, "I feel bad for you buddy."

"She only paired them up because Seth is smart and Mrs. Ley didn't want her to lift a finger. She probably not gonna do anything." I heard Paige say, "You should just not do anything so she could fail."

I shake my head, "If she fails, I fail too. And I'm not failing."

I heard Paige groan but she stayed quite as Mrs.Lay called out more pairs.

The bell rang as she called out the last pair which was John and Daniel.

"We will begin researching tomorrow during class. Everyone have a good afternoon." Mrs. Ley said as all of us began to exit the room.

Dean turns to me as we exit the class, "You can have my Pizza in the fridge, but don't eat any of my apples, got it?"

"Got it." I say to him.

"Please don't burn down the house." Dean says back to me and I roll my eyes.

"Dean," I say, "You act like I've never been home alone before. Stop worrying to much and go to work."

"I'm not worrying. And Roman will be home around six, ok?" He says to me.

"Dean," I say rolling my eyes, "I know this."

I hear Paige laugh as she comes to stand by me, "Oh, Dean. Just leave him alone. He's gonna be fine. Like he said, it's not his first time alone and he's not seven.

"I know," Dean said, "I'm just reminding him."

I roll my eyes, "Need I remind you that your shift starts in about fifteen minutes, so you better go find Barrett."

"Shit," Dean mumbled then took off down the hall, "See you guys later!"

"Bye!" Paige shouts then turns to me, "Come on, Sethy. Let's get you home."

We walk out the school doors and she lead me out to her burgundy 2014 Chrysler 200.

"You know I like you car, right?" I ask her.

She laughs as she opens driver door, "You say that every time you see it. Nothing's changed about it."

I shrug, as I get in the passenger seat, "I know. I still like it though."

She started the car and drove down the street.

"So," she said while making a turn, "What are you gonna do when you get home?"

"Study for this upcoming Physics test." I say.

She groans, "I am so going to fail that."

I laugh, "Why don't you study for it?"

She shakes her head, "There's no point. If I don't understand it in class then, I'm not going to understand it at home."

"Why don't you ask questions in class?" I ask her.

She shrugs, "It'll slow down the class. And I don't need everyone yelling at me for learning slower than them.

"I could help you study." I tell her.

"Really?" She asked, "I mean, your not gonna be like one of those teachers, that if I don't get it right on the second try I'll get in trouble, right?"

I shake my head and laugh, "No, you can just keep going over it until you get it right. I don't mind."

I see her smile, "Alright Sethy. I think I'll take you up on that offer."

"Alright," I say to her, "We can study whenever you want."

"How about today? You think the other two would mind?" She asked as she turned down my road.

I shake my head. I knew Dean and Roman wouldn't mind Paige being there with me, "No, they'd be cool with it."

"Then today it is." She said as she pulled up in our yard.

We get out the car and walk into the house to start our study session.

%^%^%^%^%^%^%^%^%^%^%^

"Does that clear it up some?" I say as I close my physics book. We had been studying for about a hour now.

"Eh," Paige said, "I understand it more than before but it's still con. I may pass with a 70 so it's better than failing."

"We can go over it again if you'd like," I ask her.

She shakes her head, "Nah, I'm getting tired of hearing about matter and energy."

I nod, "Yeah. It can be boring."

I heard her stomach growl and I laugh slightly, "You hungry?"

"I'm always hungry!" She exclaims, "I'm a little fatty."

I laugh, "No you're not. You want some leftover Pizza?"

"I'd feel greedy if I said yes... But yes." She said with a laugh, "But don't warm it up."

I raise a eyebrow, "You like cold pizza too?"

"I only like it cold," Paige says, "Like when I buy it hot, I put it in the fridge before I eat it."

I laugh as I walk into the kitchen and grab the box of Pizza that Dean left in the fridge and two cans of soda.

I walk back into the living room and hand her a soda and open up the box.

"Pepperoni!" Paige said as she grabbed a slice and took a bite.

We stay quite for a little while as we enjoy our food.

"It must be fun," Paige said after a while.

"What's fun?" I ask her.

"Living with Dean and Roman." Paige said, "I mean there fun people. Plus you don't have any parents or anything. It must be like having a sleepover every night."

I laugh at her last sentence, "Not really. I mean there basically like brothers. They can be highly annoying. Like when Dean is constantly shouting random things or when Roman sings at the top of his lungs in the shower."

She laughs, "Roman sings in the shower?"

"He only does it to annoy, Dean. And it works." I say laughing, "And he sings off pitch on purpose."

"What on earth does he sing?" She asks me still smiling.

"Lately it's been Trap Queen. But he's been switching it between that and Post to Be." I say to her and starts laughing again.

"Are you serious?" She asks me, "I'd love to hear that."

I shake my head and laugh, "You really wouldn't."

She throws her crust in the box then looks at me, "You wanna play a game?"

I raise a eyebrow, "What kind of game."

She closes her eyes and thinks for a moment the looks at me.

"20 questions?" She asks.

I shrug, "I don't see why not."

"Ok," she says, "I play my 20 questions a little different from everyone else."

"How so?" I ask her.

"Ok so instead of each person getting twenty questions," she said to me, "you only get ten. You are allowed to ask any type of question. And you get one pass on a question. It can be for any question you want. But once you use you pass, you have to answer all the other questions. Also the question you used the pass on cannot be asked again. Also if we don't finish the game, then the game can pick up at anytime anywhere. And be careful of what you say. A simple question such as 'what time is it?' can be counted as a question."

I nod, "Sound easy enough. You can go first."

"Ok, first question," she says, "I'll make it simple. What's your favorite Song?"

I think about it for a second the answer, "Rest To Get Better by Transit. Who's your favorite movie?"

"The Conjuring ," she said and I smile.

"It didn't scare you?" I ask her with a smile and she laughed.

"Heck no, and you just used up another question." She said.

"Dang it!" I shout, "I take that question back!"

"No take backs Rollins!" She said laughing, "I told you to watch what you say. Now, who was your first crush, in the history of ever?"

I feel my cheeks heating up. Paige was first girl I liked. When she moved here in the eighth grade, I practically fell in love with her...

"Um..." I start, "You..."

She gives me a small smile. "Ok, um you go now."

I feel more heat rushing to my fave but I try to shake it off, "Um what's your favorite quote?"

"'What's worse than knowing you want something, besides knowing you can never have it?' Quoted by James Patterson in his book The Angle Experiment." Paige said to me, "What's yours?"

I raise a eyebrow, "Your using a question you know."

She rolls her eyes and smiles, "I know I am, now what's you favorite quote?"

"'I wanted to so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not to have sex like in movies. Just sleep together, in the most innocent sense of the of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.'" I quoted while looking at the ground.

"Oh.." Paige said, "Was that Shakespeare or something?"

I laugh, "Actually it was John Green. It's from his book 'Looking for Alaska'. And you just used a question."

"Yeah," Paige said with a small laugh. It almost sounded nervous, "It's your turn."

I look at her for a while, but shake my head, "How was your life back in Norwich?"

"Pass." Paige said quickly. I give her a strange look. When I think about it, Paige never actually talked too much about her life back in England.

"Why not?" I ask.

She raised a hand, "Don't waist your question on that."

"Paige," I say, "You can talk to me about anything, you should know that."

She shakes her head, "Why do you like me so much, Seth?"

I was slightly taken aback by her question,

"I-I just..." I stutter, I really didn't know what to say. "I just always have Paige. You're... Interesting, and beautiful and kind."

"Seth," Paige said, "I am none of those things you just said. Don't you see that? I'm untalented, I'm boring, I'm not beautiful in any way, I'm not a nice a person..."

"Why would you just look down on yourself like that?" I ask her.

"I'm not looking down on myself I'm showing myself the truth." She said looking away from me.

"You act like you don't want anyone to love you!" I say raising my voice.

"I don't want anyone to love me!" Paige shouted. "Have you seen me Seth? I don't deserve anything I have! You see something in me and it isn't there!"

"Is this why you won't give me a chance?" I shout back, "Because you think your not worth it?!"

"I don't give you a chance because I'm not worth taking the risk!" Paige shouted at me and stood up, "Cause we'll date and then what?! I screw the fuck up and ruin our entire friendship?! Don't tell me otherwise, I always find a way to screw shit up."

"Paige," I say while standing up as well, "Listen to me, and listen to me good. You. Are. Worth it. If your weren't worth it, then I wouldn't think about you that way I do. I would care about you the way I do. I wouldn't love you the way I do. You can say whatever you want... But it's never going to change my mind."

She looks at me and I could see her mascara was running a little.

"Your going to get yourself hurt," she says barley above a whisper. "Seth. I'm sorry. But I refuse to let myself love you because I refuse to be the one to hurt you. It's better if we just stayed friends..."

"Paige-" I say but she cuts me off.

"I should get going..." She said turning grabbing her bag.

"Paige." I say when she turned back around.

"What is it Seth?" She said.

I take a step closer to her and look her right in her eyes and she looks back.

"Seth-" she starts but I close the space between us.

It's not till after my lips were against hers that I realized, I have no idea how to kiss... What do they do in movies...

I take my hands, which were at my sides and wrap them around her waist.

I feel her somewhat relax and kiss me back. She takes her arms and wrap them behind my neck.

"Seth! I'm..." I heard Roman say and we jump apart and see him standing at the door way.

"Home..." Roam an said looking at is with s amused look.

"We were playing a game..." I say scratching the back of my head.

"What's the game called," Roman asked, "Hide and go get 'it'?"

I felt my face burn like hell.

"Don't worry about it Roman," Paige said walking towards the door, "I'll see you two tomorrow."

"Um bye Paige." Roman said as she walked out the door.

I groan and sit down on the couch.

"Dude," I heard Roman say, "What was that all about?"

I shake my head, "I really don't want to talk about it."

"Well ok..." Roman said then walked into the Kitchen, "don't think this is over though. Your still gonna tell me about what I just saw."

I groan. And what had he just saw?

Me kissing Paige.

Since the day I've meet her, I've been wanting to do just that. I myself enjoyed every second of it. I knew I needed her....

But it almost hurts to know that she's forcing not to need me back.

Chapter 13 is up! It's a little longer.

Alright, starting the last week of July, I start this thing called Summer Band, or band camp or whatever you want to call it. Yes I am in marching band. Yes I am lame. But to me I find it so much fun! Football games and just being in the bus is so much fun. But anyway I wont be able to update as much when this time comes. It's going to last from the last week in July (cause drumline has to go a week before everyone else 😑😑 hooray for me..) and all of August. It's a all day thing, like from 8-4 for all five days. This year is a state advancement year, so we'll have even longer practices. But I just wanted to let you guys know that, so if one day I don't update, you'll know what I'm doing.

RAW comes on tonight and honestly I'm not ready for it... I might not watch it.........

HA! THATS A FREAKIN LIE

I'll be sure to update more tomorrow.

Love you guys

Bye bye!
