"Ladies let's go!"

Yelled a girl with blonde hair as she signaled the cheerleaders to get into positions like they rehearsed earlier for the Soccer game.

"Give me a D!"

She yelled to the crowds who began to chant with her

"D!"

"Give me an O!"

"O!"

"Give me an M!"

"M!"

"Give me an I!"

"I!"

"Give me an N!"

"N!"

"Give me an O!"

"O!"

"And what does that spell?!"

She yelled as she got to the top of the pyramid.

"Domino!!!!"

The crowd yelled as the whistle blew to start the game. Within an hour and thirty minutes the game came to an end with Domino High being the winners. As the crowd began to leave, the cheerleaders stood behind for a small meeting.

"That was awesome girls!"

The girl with the blond happily praised her team.

"Thanks Ruby, it's mostly all thanks to you"

Said a red head

"Yeah but we worked as a team"

Ruby said looking towards the crowd as one of the students caught her attention causing her to slightly blush and gently bite her bottom lip.

"Hey hello, earth to Ruby"

Said a brunette waving her hand in front of Ruby who jumped back in surprise.

"What?"

She asked.

"Oh I know that look, so who is it?"

Said a girl with black hair as she looked up to the stand causing the girls to look up as well

"It's nothing!"

Ruby yelled nervously trying to get her friends attention as she waved her arms in the air

"Don't be shy, so who is it?"

Said a girl with blue hair. Ruby grew a deep scarlet blush across her face

"I am not telling, besides we have rules here at school, students are not supposed to date"

She said in a matter of fact tone. The cheerleaders looked to their captain in disbelief before looking at each other.

"Newsflash Ruby, rules are meant to be broken"

Rachel said.

"Well technically under some circumstances rules are made because somebody has already done it"

Denise said causing Rachel to glare at her.

"Anyways....the only people who are up in the stands are that girl Tea's group of friends"

Melissa said curiously.

"She's only friends with guys"

Hazel commented.

"You think she did them all?"

Samantha asked

"Who knows maybe"

Justina said

"Would you girls stop it"

Ruby said cutting her friends off.

"Relax Ruby, now let's see, it can't be Joey because I heard he's seeing this girl named Mai"

Lana said placing her arm on top of Ruby's shoulder.

"It can't be Tristan, he has an obvious crush on Miho"

Alex said.

"And then Miho has a crush on Bakura"

Clover said.

"So that just leaves..."

Rachel began trailing off as all the girls looked to Ruby who was blushing deep red.

"No way!"

Clover yelled in excitement. Ruby quickly grabbed her backpack.

"I gotta get my stuff"

She immediately said as she began to walk away leaving the group to talk among themselves at the new information about their Captain. Once out of sight, Ruby took a deep breath in and then released as she made it inside the building and began walking amongst the lockers and soon stopped at a particular locker that she knew so well. She blushed as she took out a note from her backpack and slipped it inside the locker.

*Next Day*

"So were you able to study last night after the game?"

Tea asked Yugi.

"Not as much I would have liked but it was enough"

Yugi said. Together they stopped in front of Yugi's locker. As Yugi opened it a letter fell out causing Yugi and Tea to look at it in surprise.

"Hmmm wonder what this is about?"

He asked Tea who simply shrugged in response. Once Tea and Yugi settle into their classroom seats with Tristan and Joey already bickering about the note wanting to open it. Joey quickly snatched the letter and began to read it to himself before smirking proudly to Yugi showing him the letter causing Yugi to blush as he read it out loud.

"A secret crush?"

Tea asked in surprise. Soon Bakura arrived with Miho behind him.

"Hello you guys"

He greeted.

"Miho have some news!"

Miho happily shouted.

"What's the news?"

Tristan asked curiously.

"There's a rumor going around about the King of Games and the Captain of the cheerleader being together"

Miho said excitedly as she made her way in front of Yugi.

"Miho wants to know if it's true"

She asked. Yugi gently scratched the back of his head.

"I just found this love letter in my locker not too long ago"

"Maybe it's just someone trying to pull a fast one on you Yugi"

Tea said ignoring the slight hurt about Yugi's secret admirer.

"Maybe but why the captain of the cheerleaders? I mean she's way more popular and just who started this rumor?"

He asked about receiving more questions than answers.

"It started last night after the game"

Bakura stated

"How do you know that?"

Tea asked.

"Well my fans were surrounding me last night and they just started speaking all at once and one thing lead to another and they told me they overheard the cheerleaders talking"

Bakura said thoughtfully.

"Maybe that's it"

Tea said

"What's it?"

Yugi asked

"Maybe the cheerleaders are just doing that talking or probably planning something"

"Yeah but why involve me?"

"You're popular yourself, you know"

Joey stated.

"Yeah that's probably it. They're trying to gather the popular kids together"

Tristan said confidently. Tea sadly looked down at her desk

"I don't know, I have a bad feeling about this. It's no coincidence that the rumor started and Yugi found the letter in his locker. Something is definitely up"

She said in concern.
