Chapter 9: Convincing
Hanji's POV
"Levi..." He hasn't been answering my calls or coming to work. Even Erwin got worried for him. After all of that, Erwin was suspicious of me- ensuring that I loved him and him only. Asking me questions about my past relationship with him... I lied to keep the baby... "Levi, please answer me..." I banged my fist against his front door, opening he was there. "Levi... it's me, Hanji..."
Silence.
"Levi!" I cried desperately, running my fingers around the door frame for some sort of key- and finally. It was on top of the frame, and I was struggling to unlock the door. "Levi, I'm coming inside!" A couple more seconds, and I was finally inside.
The apartment room was surprisingly... dark. Levi always kept the curtains open during the day to let the light in- and opens it to release the dust inside. It wasn't normal of him to go out of his schedule. One look around, and everything was a mess. It was like... Levi wasn't even living here. Worry was overwhelming me and I continued to look around for Levi. He has to be in his room...
I opened his door, and heard it creak open. Under the covers of the bed, there was a figure- still. I lost control of myself, running towards it and hoping it was Levi Ackerman.
"Levi! Levi!" I shout, shaking the figure under the covers. Heck, I even pulled the blankets off of him. I heard him groan heavily, and tears of joy began to fill my eyes. "Levi... Levi, get up..."
"No..." He says with his voice muffled in the pillows. I wasn't about to give up- not at all. I then threw open the covers, watching him cower under his blanket. "Hanji, just leave..."
"I'm not leaving you..." I say quietly, sitting next to him. My hand runs through his hair and I smiled gently. "Levi... I'm not leaving you ever again... I'm staying here until you're back on your feet and back at work."
Levi began to growl at me, staring me down. "Don't you remember what I said on that night? I quit."
"You can't quit! Not now..."
"Yes I can!" Surprising me, he jumps up and growls at me. His gray eyes were storming around as it stared at me. If I wasn't in love with him, I would be so scared of him right now. But I wasn't. "I could've quit a long time ago, but you were the one person who kept me going and ensure I was near you. Last year... I quit seeing you because I couldn't take it anymore... you were so happy with Erwin and Eren..."
"Levi..."
"No, just... just stop..."
He kept shaking his head and leaning his whole body against the bed frame. If his attitude and body placement wasn't obvious, his voice was in pain. Levi scooted away from me, and I recognized this behavior.
That night after Erwin proposed to me, I never went back to see Levi... but when I did, he shrouded himself away from me. I even apologized- but he kept quiet. The way he used to speak to me was full of pain- like he was trying his best to not cry in front of me. The way he could never look me in the eyes- we never had a goodbye kiss. We faded away.
I then kissed him, enjoying the small kiss we had. I don't want us to fall apart... I love him...
"Hanji... stop..." But I didn't. I kissed him over and over- wanting him to do the same to me.
A smile grew large on my face when I felt him kiss me back. He was a little resistant, but soon enough, he embraced me. Levi's hands crawled up my back and under my shirt- feeling my warm skin. As we kissed, I felt him groan and pulled me close- oh wow... I missed him so much...
Levi moved gently, pushing me gently into the bed. My heart was beating heavily as I felt him lower me into the soft cushions of the bed. The pounding echoed in my head- and I slowly pulled Levi down on top of me. Oh... this tingly feeling overcame me when I felt him messing with my clothes.
"Hanji... I hate you sometimes..."
I chuckled softly, pulling his neck close down by my chest. "But this is the time you love me..."
"I do love you- always... but you married that big oaf-"
"So? We're still together, aren't we? We're still here... making love... we're still here and expecting a child. Unlike him, I'm not expecting his kid, am I?"
Levi chuckles softly, leaning down and finally got my pants and panties off of me. His hands slowly went to unbutton my shirt. "You're not expecting his kid- but mine. I wished I married you sooner..."
"That was beautiful last night, Levi..." I chuckled softly, kissing him once I felt the coldness on my chest. "How you wanted everything to be perfect for me- you remembered everything. I'm ready to give it back to you and you can propose to me once I leave Erwin."
"When would that be...?"
"I'll leave him right now... and I'm not gonna leave Eren behind. Me and you... we can start a family. You know how Eren is with you... he loves you..."
"I know he does... isn't that a bit weird...?"
Levi groaned softly as he undoes his belt and pants. I chuckled softly, panting softly as I felt his hands on my hips. "No, I don't think so... but let's get him out of our minds... I rather not think of my son while we're having fun in the bed."
He chuckles a bit more- distracting me when he thrusted his manhood into me. I screeched in joy and passion- gripping onto his back. My nails were on his warm skin- if I felt another one of his strong thrusts, I fear my nails would dig into him and and I would begin to scar his back. He waits a few seconds before thrusting with such power into me.
Our cries of pleasure lasted only for a few minutes, until a powerful knock came at the door. Levi growled when he heard it and knew our little session had to end. How terrible for such a beautiful love session to end. Carefully without hurting me, he pulls himself out and quickly changes into some comfortable clothes.
Instinctively, I grab the end of the blanket and pulled it over myself. The cold was attempting to attack me when I was most vulnerable. Behind the door that Levi closed, I heard soft muffles. One of them... had to be Erwin's.

Levi's POV
"Yes, Hanji's here. She's taking a nap." I groaned softly, straining to keep myself from blurting out.
"She's taking a nap now?" Erwin growls, staring at me. It was a hunter's stare, like I took his prey away from him and he would kill me at any given second. Was it because I confessed that I dated her? "Why?"
In return, I growled back at him. "Well yeah. She's a friend and she's allowed to crash at my house."
"Is that baby mine or yours?" I could feel all the blood draining from my face when Erwin mentioned that. Hanji and I clearly knew who's the real father... and if I told the truth, I wouldn't know how Hanji would feel. "Huh? Tell me the truth!"
I buckled up and lied to him. "That baby is not mine."
"Where's my wife?"
"In the bedroom." I growled, stopping him from going inside. Without drawing attention, I tried to raise my voice to notify her to pretend to be asleep. "Do you really want to wake up a pregnant woman? I'm sure she would go on and kill you if you're not careful."
He laughs it off and walks into the bedroom. "Hanji! I need you to explain yourself!"
