"Yah Jae-kuk ahh, what are you talking about? I'm happy with Dada. Ok. Also, he calls me whenever he gets time. He's working as English Literature professor, you know how busy he will be, with all those lectures, paper corrections, assessing all the presentations and seminars. And the list goes on."

"If you say you are happy with him without any problem, then why is Dada always being rude and not even caring to talk to you?"

"It's work pressure Jae-kuk ahh, I cannot go to him and force him to make some time for me. He'll come to me when he has time."

"Appa, don't defend him. I know what is happening between you guys and I'm not someone who is that dump enough not to understand this. You are making sacrifices; you are making time for him even when you are packed up with busy schedules and you are working in a field that deals with life and death. You make him as your priority and still he treats you like someone who did bad to him."

"Dada is treating me and Ji-Tae really very well. He's doing his best for us and taking great care of us. He's being a good father to us and is like our best friend. But when it comes to you, he is being so blunt and not even giving the attention and love you deserve." Jae-kuk sighed in frustration.

"Jae-kuk ahh, whatever happens between me and your Dada will stay between us and you don't have to come in and meddle."

"Ok Appa, I won't come in between you guys, but if I see you not being happy, or if Dada is giving you tough time and act bratty to you, I won't hesitate to stand up for you and fight against Dada. It's my word to you. And I will not be backing away from this."

"Ok Jae-kuk ahh, don't be so angry on him ok, relax."

"Ok Appa, if your duty is over can we leave home?"

"Yeah, sure Jae-kuk ahh, let me grab my stuffs and then we can leave to home."

"Ok Appa. You go to the parking lot; I'll go to my department and will come back grabbing my stuffs."

"Ok Jae-kuk ahh."

With that Taehyung left his office, went to parking lot; waiting for Jae-kuk. After waiting for 10 mins Jae-kuk came to parking lot; rushing towards Taehyung.

"Sorry to keep you waiting Appa. Let's get going." They both got inside the car and sped off to home.

"Appa, Dada called me up and said he's home. I can't understand Appa, he should be telling this to you and say baby I'm home and when are you coming? I'm waiting for you. He can also tell me tho. But it's different when he calls and tells you this, it makes it even more sweet and it shows that he's missing you."

"Aish Jae-kuk ahh, stop it. And concentrate on driving." With that rest of the driving was in silence. After 10 mins they both reached home and stepped inside.

"Appa, I'm so tired. I'm gonna sleep, it's been a long time. you should also rest well Appa."

"I will Jae-kuk ahh, you are going to bed without eating anything? You must be hungry. Come I'll make you something." Taehyung turned to kitchen, but was stopped by Jae-kuk.

"Appa, I lost my appetite, I don't feel like eating anything. Please go and rest well. Good night."

"Ok Jae-kuk ahh, good night." Taehyung kissed Jae-kuk's forehead and both left to their rooms.

TAEHYUNG'S POV.

As I entered our bedroom, I saw Jungkook pacing around the room. He was on phone, talking to someone. I guess it is his HOD.

"Yes sir, ok sir. I'll finish my portions and will also submit student's performance reports and attendance reports to you by tomorrow morning. Also, we are planning some excursions for our students. It's kind of their final year at college, so why not we should give them some surprise excursions and tour? We will talk about this in detail tomorrow sir. Thank you, sir." With that he hung up the phone and went to his table and started preparing note for students.

"Hey Taehyung! You are home. sorry I didn't notice you."

"It's ok, I didn't wanna disturb you. That's why stopped at the door itself. You seem to be so tired. Did you eat?"

"Yes, I had my dinner and started working right away."

"Don't stress yourself and relax ok. Take some rest now and work later. Close the laptop and lay down. Come here."

"Ok Taehyung," Jungkook shut down his laptop, closed all his stuffs and came near the bed and laid down.

I went near him and tucked him in the sheets. I caressed his forehead and moved his hair from falling on the face. Our eyes met, I looked down, not being able to bear his gaze. He lifted my face by my chin making me look at him. we were so lost in the moment. He came near my ear and whispered...

"EVEN IF I TREAT YOU RUDE, YOU SHOULD BE SWEET TO ME UNDERSTOOD?"

I nodded my head and he pulled off and closed his eyes. He drifted to sleep. I stood up and went to freshen up. After that I went to bed and laid facing Jungkook, remembering the words he said. A lone tear left my eye, with a glimmer of hope, hoping everything will change one day.
