GROWING UP IN NEW YORK CITY, Adelaide Kennedy developed a sharp tongue and a gritty character. She was enrolled at a performing arts school, where she attended dance classes and voice lessons. At the age of eight, she debuted on Broadway as Annie. Her parents only coerced her to more auditions: Young Eponine (Les Miserables), Wendy (Peter Pan), Jane (Mary Poppins), Matilda (Matilda), Katie (School of Rock), and Cinderella (Cinderella). 

Now, she has been cast as Katherine in the touring production of Newsies. 

And on her first day, she meets Ben Cook, and everything turns upside down.
