hello, beautiful butterflies! clearly this isn't an extra chapter but an author's note where the cast and i shall answer all your questions.

but before we start, i thought i might tell you a few random facts about this story you may or may not find interesting.

- in a bottle of tequila, there's an average of 17 shots, hence the number of chapters. an empty shot glass as the prologue, the actual shots as the chapters and the now empty bottle of tequila as the epilogue.

- this story was greatly inspired by bebe rexha's song, i don't wanna grow up. particularly, the second verse which is where the book title came from.

- namjoon and gisela weren't originally meant to end up together. when i first started writing this story, they were just meant to be really good friends who helped each other move on.

- in the first rough draft, kore was supposed to stay single to try and get namjoon back and then in another scrapped draft, she was meant to be unapologetic about her actions.

- isidora and kore weren't meant to be friends in the original idea, just people who sort of knew each other.

- isidora and yoongi were originally meant to already be in a relationship.

- there was a scene where namjoon caught kore red-handed but i took it out.

- eli and namjoon were meant to have a full on fist fight over kore at some point.

- gisela was meant to confront kore about sleeping with eli.

- gisela and eli were supposed to be engaged at first. oof can you imagine how bad the drama would've been?

i think that's about it.

now to this interview you all came here for. let's welcome our special guests, the cast of cheap tequila!

*all file in with awkward but bright smiles and take a seat*

toni: namjoon, you look shy, your cheeks are so red!

yoongi: that's because he is.

namjoon: *still blushing with his hands on his cheeks* i'm sorry, i just feel so self-conscious when there's a lot of attention on me.

gisela: isn't he just the cutest?

toni: *nods in agreement* yes, he is.

isidora: not when i'm in this room, he's not.

yoongi: are we going on one of your ego trips?

isidora: *brows raised, face daring* my what now?

yoongi: *with widened eyes* nothing.

toni: *laughs* okay, i think we should get to the interview. *looks at questions and pauses* should we start with the easy questions first then move on to the heavier ones?

kore: *wringing her hands* yes, please. if you don't mind.

*yoongi snorts but says nothing*

toni: okay then! since no one seems to have any objections. *sorts through questions* hmm, the first question is for isi. it's not really a question though but i'm sure it'll make you happy.

isidora: i'm ready.

toni: *chuckles* okay. so it says, you're hilarious, keep it up.

isidora: *places hand on her chest, big goofy smile on her face* aww! thank you! *looks to toni* is it a guy or girl?

toni: girl.

isidora: i love you, girly! stay beautiful. *blows kiss*

*yoongi shakes his head but smiles*

toni: okay, this is for you, snow white.

*namjoon snorts out a laugh*

yoongi: are you talking to me??

gisela: i think so.

toni: who else would i be talking to?

yoongi: i swear to go–

toni: *cuts him off* marry me?

yoongi: *opens and closes mouth, looking confused* wha–?

toni: that's the question. *raises brows* what? did you think i was proposing to you?

eli: i think he did.

yoongi: *scoffs repeatedly though he's turning red* as if!

toni: cute. but answer the question.

yoongi: *glances at isidora* uhhh... i mean i'd love to but like uhhh i probably won't make it to the wedding. *looks at isidora who's glaring daggers at him* i mean um, i have someone so i can't marry you. but i'm sure you're a great gal!

toni: okay, but did i say it was a girl who asked?

yoongi: *blinks furiously* i-it wasn't? oh shit i just assumed their gender, i'm sorry.

toni: *laughs* it was. i'm just playing.

namjoon: *laughs slapping his knee* his face!

toni: the next question is for baby girl, gigi.

gisela: why'd you keep calling me baby girl? i'm older than you.

toni: *shrugs* oop?

*gisela sighs dramatically*

toni: *smiles before reading question* how's it like being the most beautiful and precious person on earth?

gisela: are you sure that question wasn't meant for namjoon?

namjoon: *looks incredibly touched* i love you so much, sela! *pulls her into his arms and kisses her hair*

yoongi: *scrunching his nose* please tone down the cringe. some of us would like to keep our lunch down.

*gisela playfully sticks her tongue out at him*

toni: so um, is that your final answer?

gisela: yes, and thank you whoever you are! that was a really nice question to ask.

toni: okay then, lovebirds. *stares at laptop screen for questions* this one's for me. are you going to make a sequel to this story that focuses on isidora and yoongi? *pauses* hm, i never actually thought of that. *turns to the couple in question* guys, what do you think?

isidora: *leans forward on the seat* whoever asked that question, bless your soul. i've been thinking of pitching the idea to toni. yanno, let people know me more. i'm a peach to be around, just ask yoongi. maybe promote my designs while we're at it. guys, i make the best outfits, you can come to me. i promise you won't be disappointed!

yoongi: *leans back, shaking his head at isidora* i'm a private person y'know. i don't really like the idea of everyone being in my business. i was okay with the first story because it was focused on my boy, joon. but i don't know. i don't think i like this sequel idea.

toni: well, if i decide to do it, your ass is going to have to show up whether or not you like it.

isidora: *claps hands together with a pout* please, do it.

toni: we'll see, isi. *looks at questions* another one for me! woo! i'm almost as popular as you guys, damn!

eli: *laughs* why are you surprised?

toni: i just assumed people would be more eager to ask you guys questions. *grins wide reading the question* why are you such an amazing person? wo ai ni. *gasps dramatically* aww! you're the amazing one. and i love you too, bub!

yoongi: did you just make that question up? *leans forward to try and see question*

toni: *glares* why would i even do that?

yoongi: i don't know. because it's you? *shrugs nonchalantly*

toni: i swear to the heavens, yoongi, imma expose you if you test me.

yoongi: i have no secrets.

toni: *cocks head to the side* wow, y'all, i just realised how amazing mirrors really are. you can check if your makeup is still intact. you can check out your outfit. you can even pr–

yoongi: *jumps off couch and covers toni's mouth* i think we get it. i get it.

*toni and yoongi start a glaring contest while everyone watches curiously*

isidora: oh my god, please spill the tea.

namjoon: i wanna know too.

gisela: *laughing* i don't think i've ever seen yoongi move so fast.

*kore nods her head but stays quiet*

toni: i'll keep it to myself... for now.

*everyone groans while yoongi sighs in relief and returns to his seat*

toni: so another one for me. why are you lovable wow? *turns screen in yoongi's direction who rolls his eyes* why are you guys so nice to me?

namjoon: well there are nice people in the world and you're lucky to have some of them reading your stuff.

toni: *smiles* i am, aren't i? *turns screen back* a fourth one for me wow. teach me how to be amazing, please? *laughs while blushing a little* ah, i don't think i can teach you that. you can only teach what you know. maybe one of the cast. namjoon?

namjoon: *raises hands* they asked you not me.

toni: *clicks tongue at him* wow, namjoon, what great help you are.

gisela: *pokes head out* i'm sure whoever asked is already amazing. you're amazing!

toni: yes, exactly! *stares at screen* joon bug, this one's for you. hmm, how does it feel to have kore still around boo? *shoots kore a side glance*

*kore awkwardly clears throat and adjusts in seat*

namjoon: *presses lips together and hums, unconsciously showing off dimples* to be honest, i'm very fine. i've moved on and i've forgiven her. we had a whole talk about it and agreed to still be friends. i mean it is still kind of awkward but i guess that can't be helped.

kore: that's mostly on my side. *awkwardly laughs*

namjoon: *nods in agreement* yeah. but i'm okay. i have a girl who's beautiful inside and out and it wouldn't be fair to her if i still held a grudge. that'd mean i haven't moved on. she's someone i love so much and she doesn't deserve that.

gisela: *ears and cheeks go red as she smiles* i love you too, joon.

toni: *groans* please stop reminding me i'm single.

kore: *smiles, mumbling under her breath* it's cute.

toni: yeah, whatever. *starts reading questions* you again, joon. what would you like to do now? relationship wise and work-related wise?

namjoon: hm, well, relationship wise, sela and i are taking it slow. we're just enjoying being with each other. i love having her in my life, she's such an encouraging and comforting presence to have. so i plan to keep her with me a long long time. *chuckles softly, glancing at the smiling girl* and work, i really enjoy writing and producing and i'm going to keep doing that. and maybe even perform some of my work. isi's suggestion.

*isidora smiles smugly, flipping her hair*

namjoon: *laughs at her* it's a good idea. we'll see how that goes.

toni: excited to see what you do with that. okay back to isi. *smirks a little* what's your relationship to yoongi after he said that he likes you?

*yoongi and isidora glance at each other*

isidora: *smiles awkwardly* maybe i shouldn't answer this, in case that spin off happens. don't want to spoil y'know.

toni: *rolls eyes* what if it doesn't? it won't spoil much if it does happen, don't worry.

isidora: *shrugs a little* okay, if you say so. since yoongi is such a big fat cobarde *shoots him a glare* i had to take the reins myself. y'know, grab the toro by the horns.

toni: mm, i don't think that's very clear to our readers.

eli: *laughs loudly* i'm guessing she asked him to be her boyfriend.

*isidora snaps her fingers and point in his direction as a confirmation*

gisela: *gasps* really? i didn't know that.

*namjoon is laughing uncontrollably while yoongi's entire face has gone red*

yoongi: *folds his arms over his chest, gaze on his feet* just because she beat me to it doesn't mean i wasn't going to.

toni: *smiling* i think it's very cute actually. it's not like you two are a typical couple anyway.

isidora: true.

*yoongi huffs, cheeks still red as he refuses to look at anyone*

toni: okay, let's move on. yoongi's uncomfortable. hm, gisela, isn't it funny how heartbreak brought you two together? how beautiful.

*eli frowns a little, lips pressed in a line*

gisela: hm, yeah that's true. i guess we find love in the strangest places, where we least expect it. a string of coincidences brought namjoon and i together and i guess you are right, if we weren't heartbroken, maybe we would never have found each other. there is some magic, some beauty to that, to the way life works. and i appreciate it.

toni: that's lovely, gisela.

gisela: thank you.

toni: i think we have just a few more questions till this interview is over. this one's for kore. not a question, i don't like yo stupid m– *laughs awkwardly with wide eyes* i'm just going to skip this one.

*kore shifts in her seat, clearly uncomfortable and eli pats her hand*

yoongi: too bad, i might have liked where that was going.

isidora: *smacks his back* be nice. she's still my friend.

yoongi: *groaning* sorry.

toni: eli, i've got a question here that has your name on it.

eli: hit me.

toni: so like... you still clueless about literally being in the middle of everything? like kore totally not being single when y'all were hanging and being slightly more than friends with gisela when she liked you and stuff?

eli: *sucks in a breath* well i'm obviously not clueless anymore. i did know kore had a boyfriend. she made that more than clear but i still went after her. and yes, i guess that makes me a bad guy but i never knew who her boyfriend was. i know it doesn't matter that i didn't know – that would've made our first meeting hella awkward. but maybe if i had, he would have seemed more real at the time and not some faceless being and maybe kore and i would never have happened. *glances at gisela* i'll admit, i did kind of lead gisela on. and i'm sorry for that. she's a really good person and she didn't deserve it. i never started out trying to hurt anyone, still i did. but we can't undo what we've done, only try to make amends.

*gisela smiles softly at him, lacing her fingers through namjoon's*

toni: i hope that clears up the air. *claps hands together* the final question goes to kore. *squints* i've been a human my entire life, so please tell me, what's it like being a snak–? *makes awkward face* oh, oh wow.

kore: it's okay. i was expecting that. i was expecting worse actually.

toni: oh, wait. *leans forward* it was a joke. you don't have to answer it.

kore: oh, alright. it's horrible by the way.

*namjoon gives her a kind smile*

toni: i think that is all we have. oh heavens, i hope i didn't miss any one.

yoongi: won't put it past your clumsy self.

toni: i'm telling you now, yoongi, if i spill this tea, just know you're the one who pushed my hand.

yoongi: i'm sorry, please keep the tea in the cup.

isidora: can i push your hand instead?

namjoon: i'll push too. i really want to know.

gisela: not gonna lie, me too.
