The following morning, Marinette woke to no sign of Chat, but her own garments were sprawled all across the floor. She got up and began to dress for the day.
Her phone began to ring. It was Adrien!
"Hello?"
"Hey, Marinette! How are you feeling today?"
"Really good! I had a great night! Why do you-?" She was cut off by the sudden urge to vomit. She dropped her phone and ran for the bathroom.
Adrien heard the thud as the phone hit the ground.
"Mari? Marinette!" He hung up his end of the line and took immediate action.
"Plagg! Claws out!"

When Chat arrived it was too quiet for clumsy Marinette. Normally she's tripping and knocking stuff over, scrmabling to get ready for the day. It only got worse when Chat opened her window and a nose-murdering stench suddenly filled the air. She was really sick.
Chat answered only to be met by Sabine's voice from the bottom of the stairs.
"Marinette, is everything okay? You'll be late for school!"
Chat could hear her starting to come up the stairs.
Chat panicked.
"Um, yes mom! I'm purrrfectly fine! Just, um, a little sick is all! I think I'll stay home today!" Chat said quickly using a bad Marinette voice.
"Oh my! Puns and your voice sounds horrible! Very well, get some rest sweetie! Love you!"
Chat could hear Sabine march back down the stairs. He sighed in relief, then remembered Marinette.
He rushed to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
"That was a terrible impression Chat..." was the only response he received.
He opened the door and entered to a sick Marinette, hugging the prociline throne.
"Why are you so sick? It doesn't have to do with last night does it?"
"No I don't think so..."
Chat could see right through her. He knew she suspected it had something to do with the night before, but he wouldn't say it. For now he just needed to support her.
At least for as long as he could.
