You giggle to yourself as you sit back blushing heavily. They're all crazy and you loved them. Your smile falls as you hear an argument break out in the living room. With a sigh you get up and decide to take a walk, going out the window and starting down the road. Your stomach growls, and you decide to head to the close by convenience store.

Walking in, you head straight for the snack isle, almost walking into someone that was crouched down skimming over a label on a snack from the bottom shelf. He peers up at you as you narrowly avoid him. "___. Right?" He guesses straightening up. You blink at him and kick yourself for not recognizing him straight away.

"Law.... Hi." You smile awkwardly as you pick out some snacks.

"You don't want that, it's expired." He lets you know, pointing at one of the snacks.

"Thanks." You chuckle sheepishly, putting it back.

"And try this, it's more filling." He hands you a different snack. He gives a smile when you him a surprised look. You utter another thanks before heading to the cashier. He follows after grabbing one more thing. You pay and start out but his voice stops you. "You're not walking around this late alone are you?"

"I'll be fine, I'm a block away from home." You shrug.

"A lot can happen at night, especially if you're alone, I'll walk you home." He decides coming over with his bag.

"I don't know..." You murmur uneasily.

"Don't be worry, I'd just want someone to look out for my friend if she's walking alone. They say if you do good, good things will happen for you." He smiles thoughtfully.

"Heh, alright if you put it like that." You muse heading out with him.

"So have you always went to that school or..."

"I mover here two years ago, but I'm invisible so...." You smile ahead.

"I see you just fine," Law hums.

"I guess so... Students from the Nova building seem to be um, more aware I guess." You shrug.

"So you don't have many friends huh," He guesses.

"I have friends... One goes here with me. And the others are.... I don't know..." You rub your cheek looking down. He tilts his head but before he can ask, a police cruiser drives up beside both of you. "Evening Smoker." You smile at the cop.

"Can I give you two a ride?" He asks.

"Yeah, I don't want Law walking around alone either." You smile at Law. He blinks and smirks.

"Alright then." He hums opening the back door of the cruiser for you. You climb in with him.

"Grand Street... Thanks Smoker, you're awesome." You tell him. He chuckles at that.

"No problem ___." He rumbles.

"So you know each other?" Law raises an eyebrow.

"He gave me a ride two days ago." You tell him looking for your house. "That's it over there." You add. Smoker nods and pulls up before getting out to let you out. "Thanks."

"You don't have to keep thanking me, I'm just watching out for you... Here, thisll keep you safe when I can't." He hands you a pepper spray container. You blink in surprise and blush.

"I do if you keep being so sweet..." You murmur. He just chuckles and gets in his cruiser.

"Goodnight," He waves before driving off. You smile to yourself and climb back into your room and getting ready for bed.
