You heard a loud bang against your window. Startled, you shot up from underneath Chat Noir, who jumped off the side of the bed and hid.

"Santa Claus?" you stammered, unable to believe who you were looking at through your window. He was in the same sleigh, but he looked different. As you took a step forward, Chat Noir tried to pull you back.

"Not exactly! I'm Santa Claws!" he cackled. The man who was once pale with rosy cheeks, was now a sickly shade of green. His teeth were sharp and he was much larger in stature. He had silver spikes of his black gloves and around his black buckled belt. His brows were furrowed angrily.

You shot a look back at Chat Noir, who you knew needed to stay hidden lest Hawk Moth find out he visits your room regularly. His green eyes were wide, begging you not to get any closer or he would have to expose himself.

"What are you doing here?" your voice was shaky, but you worried that Adrien would be his next stop if he left you alone.

"You dont need to be scared, (Y/N). I'm not here to hurt you." He laughed full-heartely. "You and Adrien showed me nothing but kindness. Even when tou first doubted me, you gave me an opportunity to show you who I was."

"You've been akumatized," you told him. "Please let me help you."

Santa Claws shook his head. "No, you and Adrien deserve to be avenged! We all do! Starting with Ladybug!"

You gulped as Santa Claws took off. You turned to look at Chat Noir who was already running towards the window. He grabbed you by the shoulders and gave you a quick kiss on the lips before jumping out the window.

"Well, this is definitely not how I want to spend my Christmas," you told Vladd as he flew over to you from your desk. "But, Vladd, ears out!"

You bounded over rooftops and leapt across alleyways until, eventually, you caught Ladybug's sillouhuete on a far-off building, confronting Santa Claws. He was flying in his sleigh, with a pile of wrapped gifts in the back of his sleigh.

"It's just the two of us, Santa Claws!" Ladybug told Santa Claws as you neared the building.

"The three of us, Ladybug," Chat Noir said, coming from a building opposite you to stand by her side.

"Make it four," you added, grinding your teeth together at thought of having to fight an innocent man simply because he had been harassed by Ladybug because she didn't know when to listen to other people. Without stopping, you continued your run, coming to the edge of the building and jumping onto Santa Claws' sleigh.

Ladybug and Chat Noir quickly followed suit. The four of you began to fight. Santa Claws pulled out his sack of gifts and pulled one out. He threw one at Chat Noir, which exploded upon making contact with his chest. Chat Noir blew backwards, falling off the sleigh. Luckily, Ladybug jumped after him so you could continue fighting Santa Claws.

The sleigh continued to jerk aggressively as you attempted to fight Santa Claws. The reindeer galloped through the air sharply, hardly offering you the opportunity to stay balanced.

Finally, Ladybug and Chat Noir managed to climb back onto the sleigh. Ladybug stood beside you, "I'm gonna try to stop the sleigh. You two deal with Santa Claws!"

"And how exactly do you plan on stopping the sleigh?" you retorted. Ladybug ignored you. Instead she jumped forward onto the back of one one of the reindeers and began jerking the reins.

You wanted slap your hand against your forehead, but you had bigger fish to fry. You turned back to Santa Claws, preparing your nunchucks in front of you. You went in to attack. He managed to deflect some of your blows, but it in the end, you and Chat Noir were able to overpower him.

The sleigh began shooting downwards toward the ground with Ladybug wrapping her arms tightly around the reindeer's neck. Chat Noir grabbed you around the waist with one hand and used his baton to vault the two of you off the sleigh. You landed in the snow and rolled over each other several times before coming to a stop. You sat up to find yourself straddled over Chat Noir who was laying flat on the ground.

He propped himself up onto an elbow and rubbed the side of his head before giving you a cheeky wink. "Not sure it's the best time to do this, Batty."

You slapped him in the shoulder and stood up, yanking him up by the arm as well. "Better not let your girlfriend hear you talking like that," you snipped. He nudged you with his elbow and chuckled.

"I'm just messing with you. I don't talk to anyone else like that."

You returned your focus to Ladybug and Santa Claws, who were recovering from the fall. You ran forward to grab the hat off Santa Claws' head. You throw it to Chat Noir who yells, "cataclysm" before it lands in his hands. When he catches it, it turns into a pile of black ash and a black akuma flies out.

Without thinking, you reach out and catch the akuma in both hands, keeping it from flying away before Ladybug can purify it.

"Revamp," you whisper quietly. There's a small puff of smoke from your hands and when you open your hands a shimmering white akuma flutters out of your hands and into the sky.

Chat Noir takes a step closer to you and rests his elbow on your shoulder. He watches in awe as the akuma flutters upward. "You can purify akumas," he says with a smile. You nod.

When you don't hear beeping, you looking down at your ring to see you still have all five emblems. "Maybe purifying akumas doesn't deplete my powers, just like Ladybug."

Before Chat Noir can respond, he runs over to help Santa Claus stand up from the double of his sleigh, and you quickly follow behind.

Ladybug quickly gets up, seemingly unaware that Santa Claws had been defeated because she calls out her Lucky Charm. As you help Santa to his feet, you hear Ladybug mumble, "a greeting card?"

You turn your head to look at her,  and see she's holding a red card with black polka dots, but the inside seems to be solid white. "What does it say?"

"It's an apology letter, "she gulped. "And it's addressed to you," she said, looking at Santa and holding the card out to him. Santa smiles warmly and forgivingly as he gently takes the card from Ladybug.

"Ho ho," Santa laughed heartily. "I know you didn't have any bad intentions. But I also know that you don't like to admit that sometimes other people are right." Santa limped over to Ladybug and put an arm around her shoulders. "I forgive you,  Ladybug, but try to listen to those who want to help you."

Ladybug wore a horrified expression, but she nodded nonetheless. Santa laughed once again and turned to you and Chat Noir. "A special thanks to the two of you," he said with a wink, making you wonder if he knew your secret identity. "Now, I must get going. Could you please fix my sleigh,  Batwing dear?"

Once Santa had taken off in his repaired sleigh, Ladybug turned to you. "That akuma you let get away could transform someone else, we need to catch it so that I can purify it," Ladybug explained. Her chin was up, as though she were already searching for it.

Chat Noir stupid beside you and pulled you close to him, ruffling your hair as he proudly announced that you had purified the akuma. Ladybug paused.

"You mean you did everything without me?"

You sighed heavily. "All thar matters is that it got done. It doesn't matter how."

Ladybug crossed her arms and turned away from you to look at Chat Noir. "We were fine before she came along. Her and (Y/N). Now they're both ruining what we had together,  Kitty." She blew a loose stand of hair from her eyes and pursed her lips. "It was so much simpler with the two of us."

"I'm not ruining anything. I've done nothing except try to save Paris and show Chat Noir that he's valuable as a hero and a person." You rubbed the bridge of your nose. "I know you're feeling insecure now that you know we can do this without you, but it's still going to take all three of us to defeat Hawk Moth, okay?"
