It was the day after Christmas Break had ended, the start of a New Year, and the start of a new semester. It was still chilly out, so when you woke the next morning cuddled up next to Chat Noir, it was hard for you to motivate yourself out of bed.
You rolled over towards him, grabbing his cheeks in your hand and pressing a sweet kiss to his lips which he unconsciously returned. You stood from your bed, immediately missing Chat's warmth. He stirred but didn't wake.
Vladd flew from his sleeping spot on your desk and towards you as you began putting clothes on. "This is by far the dumbest thing you've done," he whispered. "Sneaking him in here just to make out all night?"
You rolled your eyes and hushed him. "The door is locked, no one is going to find out." You slipped your jeans over your legs and began searching for a jacket. "Shoot, I left it in Adrien's room. I'll lock the door behind me but you need to open it for me when I get back." Vladd nodded and crossed his small arms.
You knocked softly on Adrien's door, to which you got no response to. You assumed he was still asleep, and you knew he didn't mind you in his room. You opened the door as quietly as possible and slid into his room. Immediately, you noticed your jacket on the sofa. You hurried over to grab it. When you turned to leave you could see Adrien begin to roll over in bed and open his eyes.
"Hey!" you greeted. You skipped over to his bed amd sat down on the edge. "How'd you sleep?"
"Well, once you and Chat were done, I slept like a baby." You slapped him on his leg and laughed.
"We were quiet and you know it."
"No really, it's like I was there. Although, it's a good thing I wasn't- if you had even a little taste of me you'd leave Chat in the dust." He grinned mischievously, similar to the way Chat Noir would when making a dirty joke.
You gasped and stood from the bed. "You're crazy," you laughed. "Chat Noir is waaaaaaay sexier than you, Adrien," you teased. And he knew you weren't being serious. To be perfectly honest, you thought Adrien was very handsome and attractive, but Chat Noir was on a different level simply because of his suit and his sly personality. "I've got to finish getting ready."
As you walked away Adrien watched you closely, reliving your kisses from last night in his head over and over again. He could almost hear the way you yelped as he bit your neck.
When you returned to your room, you found Chat Noir was gone and a note had taken his place. You picked it up and read it;
Mon amor, thank you for the amazing night. You are so beautiful and I am so lucky to be with you.
You saw some writing on the last line that had been scribbled out, so you couldn't exactly understand it.

You arrived to school with your hand resting in the crook of Adrien's elbow. When you got to the classroom, you let go of him and took your seat. You had been given your original seat back and Lila was moved to the back.
"Hey, guys!" Marinette said as she came up to your table. "My dad's coming in today to show the class how to make macarons, so I have some aprons for everyone!" She handed the two of you a white apron each. You unfolded it and admired it. It appeared as though she had sewn (f/c) ruffles around the edges.
"This is so cute, Marinette! Thank you!" You stood from her chair and gave her a tight hug. She squeezed you back hesitantly, but was smiling when you pulled away regardless.
Adrien held his up as well. It didn't have ruffles or lace like the other ones she was holding. Adrien's apron had his first and last name embroidered on the chest, with an intricate border stitched around the edges. There were also various pastries embroidered on the pockets. "Yeah, Marinette, this is great! Thanks!"
Adrien didn't give her a hug, but slipped the apron on over his head and tied it around around his waist. Marinette muttered a response and left to pass put the rest of the aprons.
You smiled and put your own apron on. You caught Adrien eyeing you, and he placed his hand on you waist.
"Let me fix that for you," he said, putting his other hand on your waist so that he was holding you in between. He spun you so that you were facing away from him. He then delicately dragged his fingers around to your back and pretended to adjust the knot.
The truth was he just wanted a moment to admire the way the apron pinched your waist in and hugged your body...
... and to put his hands on you without gloves on.
"There," he breathed.
You spun around to face him. "Thank you."

Marinette's dad had arrived and, after he had set up his ingredients, he began to mix the wet ingredients together.
"I'll let you in on a little secret," Tom whispered, "I always add cream to the chocolate to make the ganache extra velvety." He dumped a cup of cream into the bowl of chocolate and began whisking it throroughly. "Then I let infuse for one minute." Tom set the bowl off to the side.
"Urgh!" You heard someone exclaim behind you. "Do they seriously think I'm going to get my hands dirty, cooking like some maid?" It was Chloe, throwing a fit. "If I want a croissant, I'd just make my butler get it for me."
Rose, who was standing next to Chloe, crossed her arms. "He's not making croissants, Chloé. Those are macarons!"
As Chloe continued to fume, Tom continued mixing other ingredients. "It's all done with a flick of the wrist. But you mustn't go too fast or you might splash yourself!"
"And soil my Chanel pants?!" Chloe shrieked. You flinched and took a step back. "Who's he kidding?"
"Just shut up, Chloe," you snipped as quietly as possible.
"What was that? I can't understand you."
Adrien grabbed you by your upper arm and held you close to him before you could physically retaliate. He whispered in your ear that he didn't want you to get into trouble, but still held you close to him.
"Look at this lovely emulsion!" Tom announced with a happy smile before you could respond to Chloe. Chloe let out a loud breath and you could almost hear her rolling her eyes. "Now we need to chill it for half an hour," Tom continued.
Marinette stepped forward and took the bowl from the counter top. Tom asked her to place it in the fridge in the cafeteria and she happily obliged.
Barely a minute after Marinette left, the fire alarm started to go off. Before you could separate yourself from the class to transform, you were swept away by Mrs. Bustier ordering you all to get into a single-file line. Once you heard Chloe cackling, you knew there was no actual emergency.
"She's just awful," you whispered to Adrien. He nodded in agreement as you were led to the courtyard.
Nearly twenty minutes had passed before the Fire Captian accompanied Principal Damocles at the head of the courtyard to address everyone. "So, some smart aleck had the bright idea of calling the fire department."
Your eyes immediately flashed over to Chloe, who was obliviously texting on her phone.
"I want the guilty party to apologize to come forward and apologize," Damocles added. You bit your lip knowing Chloe would never come forward.
However, Chloe raised her hand and you perked up at the possibility. "Yes, Miss Bourgeois?"
"I saw a student leaving the classroom right before the alarm went off. It must have been her." Chloe paused. Her sharp eyes narrowed as she scanned the crowd, eventually landing on Marinette. "Let's see if she'll come clean. What do you say, Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"
You quickly jumped forward, raising your hand in the air. "Why would she ruin her dad's demonstration?!"
"Maybe she's was embarrassed by her dad the baker," Chloe taunted.
"Yeah, and I bet your dad is embarrassed by his daughter the b--" Adrien clasped his hand over your mouth from behind and pulled your back into his chest.
"I'm not gonna let her get away with this," Marinette started. "I've gotta tell--"
"No, Marinette," Adrien cut in. He shook his head, "We don't know for sure it was her. Let's not stoop to her level." Adrien still hadn't let go of you, as though you couldn't be trusted not to get yourself into trouble.
"He's right," Alya sighed. "We might get in more trouble without proof, even if it was her."
"Fine," Principal Damocles snapped. "Since no one is owning up, the whole school will be punished."
Chloe immediately whipped out her phone and showed the principal who she was intending to call.
"Oh, no! Please, don't disrupt the busy mayor." Principal Damocles wore a horrified expression. "The whole school is punished except for Miss Bourgeois! Everyone, you will be staying one hour late to clean the school."
Adrien released you as you groaned angrily along with the rest of the students. "This is unbelievable! She used to pull the same stunt when we were living together!" You ran a hand through your hair in frustration.

After school you and Adrien took to cleaning alternating windows while other students mopped, swept, dusted, and more.
You looked over to see Chloé and Sabrina sitting on a bench. They had stayed after school just to watch everyone clean. "She's so evil," you mumbled, though Marinette and Alya heard you from behind.
"Tell me about it. I can't believe you lived with her and survived," Alya commented.
You gave an annoyed look of agreement and nodded. "Yeah, she'd blame me for everything that went wrong. I know her dad didn't believe her, but he can't stand up to her."
You glanced back to Chloe again, who was now talking with Adrien about something. Chloe didn't seem too happy, and Adrien seemed rather upset.
"Why don't you come over to my house today?" Marinette said suddenly. "Me and some of the other girls from class are going to try on some clothes and take some pictures. It'll be fun." She gave you a warm smile and you wondered if she had finally learned her lesson from Santa Claws.
You looked over to Adrien who gave you a sly wink, then turned back to Marinette and nodded. "Sure. That sounds fun."
