Chapter 6: I would come back

"Marinette!"

Marinette woke up, the fluorescent lights almost blinding her. Her body felt stiff, until she realized she was sleeping on a cot. I could of swore I heard my name. She rolled off of the scratchy cot, landing dead on her face.

She sucked her teeth as she watched the little drops of blood fall from her nose.

"Marinette!" Someone called her name again. Marinette could move her almost asleep arms, but she couldn't feel her legs.

"O-oh-" She coughed as tears swelled her eyes. Her throat was dry as hell.

"Marinette!" Marinette looked up from her small pool of blood. Trapped. The tight cell was made of concrete. Bars filled out one side of the cell, allowing the light from the fluorescent light bulbs to shine out. There, she could see a familiar blonde. He was crouching on the floor, holding his stomach and ring. His face was extremely sunken and his eyes held no emotion.

"C-cha-" She coughed more.

"M-marinette.. i-it hurts.." Adrien groaned in distress. Marinette couldn't say anything to him. Instead, she just crawled to the metallic bars and tapped with her fingernails that she was listening.

"H-he keeps on ak-kumatizing me. E-every... Fuc-cking time I fight back.. only to f-feel another b-bad emotion. H-he keeps on fucking akumatizing me!" Just then, she noticed an akuma flying towards him. Marinette began to insanely tap onto the bars, trying to get his to calm down.

"I-im going to c-come back." The akuma latched onto his ring.

"For you." The dark purple smoke dimmed out to show the villian, Chat Blanc. He still had his emotionless eyes that were now tinted a dark purple. He was still holding his ring. The illusion of the butterfly mask came over his face.

"Chat Blanc! Are you ready to stop fucking around?! Are you ready for me to help you?!" Even though Marinette couldn't hear what was going on, she could sense the dread and anger of Hawkmoth. Chat Blanc hissed in disgust.

"You just want me to do your d-dirty work! I will never accept this! Y-you made me hurt t-the most important person to me!" He grunted in pain as he felt Hawkmoth got a grasp on his powers, making his insides hurt. Marinette could've cried. Screamed and bang her body against the bars. But she was dehydrated and her legs lost all feeling.

The akuma flew out the ring in a tug, still evil and all. Adrien gasped, relieved that the pain was gone.

"T-told you I would come back." He looked at her with a forced smile.

Just a short chapter.
