{Narrator POV}
Its been one week. Asriel had been preparing the whole time. Chara was just getting used to life in the underground. And Toriel and Asgore are enjoying life.

{Asriel POV}
Its time. I'll confess my feelings today. I hope she feels the same. I have the chocolate, the gift, and the nice place Sans told me about. This will work for sure! I went into the room and saw Chara laying on her bed with her phone.

"Greetings, Asriel" She said.
"Hi Chara." I said back. "So I want you to come with me to a nice place I found."
"Alright, Azzy." She said to me.

"Azzy" was the nickname Chara gave to me yesterday, and I like it. I brought Chara to the statue and gave it the umbrella. A soft theme played from the statue.

"Wow.. This IS really nice" She told me.
"Y-Yeah.. And there's something I need to tell you." I said nervously.

I quickly gave her the chocolate.

"You said you wanted to TELL me something, not GIVE me something, Azzy." She said, jokingly. "But I won't say no to chocolate."

I can't tell her. No matter what I try I can't tell her. I can't even move my body. I try to force myself with everything I have, but instead of telling her, I kissed her. Oh my god I just kissed her. After the kiss we just stared at each other for one long, awkward minute.

{Chara POV}
What. He just. Why did. I can't even think straight anymore. How to I respond to that? And I think I like him too. It might be the feeling I've had for such a long time. But I still don't understand it.

"Asriel... I-I didn't know you liked me that way..." I felt myself say.

Asriel was just a stuttering mess after the kiss.

"C-Chara.. I'm s-so sorry I j-just.." He said.
"Its alright. I'm not mad." I said. "If you want to kiss again, you can."

I could see his face turn even more red. I could feel my face turning red too. I guess I do love him back. He gave me a present that was carefully wrapped.

"H-Here... I worked really h-hard on it." He said quietly.
"You didn't have to get me anything. The kiss was enough. But still, thanks." I told him.

I opened the present and found a golden heart locket and a golden knife. I opened the locket and a little music box played the same theme from the statue. I looked at Asriel and smiled.

"I love it. Thank you, Asriel." I said.
"Y-Your welcome Chara. It took forever t-to make those." He said.

I kissed his forehead and looked around.

"We are pretty far from home so we should head back. Toriel will be really upset if we're late." I said.

He nodded and we walked back. He seemed really happy the whole way back. Life here will be a lot different from what it would've been on the surface. But I'm happy about that. I just wish that humans will just die off. Everyone would be happier without them. But there's nothing I can do about it. There are billions of them. I'd never be able to kill them all. We made it back to Toriel's house and went inside. We went into our room and Asriel immediately got in his bed and fell asleep. I stayed up, looking up how monsters reproduced on my phone. It said that monsters use the same process that humans do. That made me think. I looked over to Asriel, who was sleeping soundly. No. Not tonight. I'll ask him tomorrow, before he goes to sleep. Maybe we can have have a closer relationship.

Well that was a lot. I know there WILL be people who just want the lemons, but don't worry. It will be in the next chapter, which I might do today. Who knows. Anyway, leave suggestions and all that. And have a great day or night.
