Sky woke up crying. Ever since the day her mother died,  she'd been plagued with nightmares displaying other gruesome ways Soar could've been murdered.
    Sky rubbed her eyes and crawled out of bed. She washed in the shallow pool in the back of her small bedroom.
    She slowly walked down the hall. As she walked down the stairs, a feeling of unease grew inside of her. At the bottom step, she knew something was wrong. Rushing to the living room Sky saw almost exactly what her nightmares had been about.
    Piled up on the blood-stained tiles were the bodies of the dragonets in the orphanage. Standing behind them was the same dragon who had killed Sky's mother, his claws were drenched in blood. He was smiling.
