"Run, run, Lost Boy, they say to me, away from all of reality. Neverland is home to Lost Boys like me, and Lost Boys like me are free."

*Lucca's POV*

"Thanks for letting me crash with you, man," I say to Zeke when he meets me at the hotel. His dark hair has gotten a bit longer since I last saw him, nearly down to his shoulders. The scruff on his face is fuller, making him look older than he really is.

"Don't thank me!" Zeke insists with a lopsided grin. "You know you're always welcome with our family. Though I expected you to call me sooner."

Chuckling, I rub the back of my neck guiltily. "I might have forgotten that you gave me your number in the first place. It's been... well, this past week has been really fucking crazy."

"I look forward to hearing all about it," Zeke says as we walk through the hotel parking lot. "I'm assuming it's connected to why you need a place to stay?"

I nod, but don't offer a response. Zeke hums in understanding and doesn't press further. Spinning his key ring around his finger, Zeke comes to a stop, and my eyes widen.

"Woah!!" I exclaim as my eyes rapidly sweep over his sleek, red motorcycle. "Dude, this bike is sick! It's a Harley, yeah?"

Zeke beams with pride. "Sure is! It's an Electra Glide," he tells me before adding, "Classic."

I whistle lowly, crouching down to inspect the motorcycle more closely. The chrome pipes look well-maintained; practically new. Actually, the entire bike seems new. And not just new to Zeke. No, newly built. And fucking expensive too. How the hell did he afford something like this?

Zeke laughs heartily, and I realize I asked that last question out loud. Whoops. Oh well.

"I had some money put away after selling our home and car," he says, making me frown in confusion.

Zeke and Clara owned this killer house with two above-ground levels, and one level underground. It's where our former group of rogues used to crash together, before I got my own place and met Landon. Our group wasn't the biggest, maybe about six or seven of us living under that roof. To hear that Zeke sold his home is shocking, to say the least.

"You sold your house?" I question in disbelief. "So... where are we going then?"

"You'll see," Zeke says with a smirk. Lifting the seat, he pulls out a helmet from the hidden compartment and hands it to me. Eyeing him warily, I fasten the helmet on as he secures his own helmet. We both climb onto motorcycle, with Zeke in front and me behind him. "Hold on tight!"

Rolling my eyes, I settle for gripping the sides of his jacket in my fists. The bike loudly revs before jerking roughly forward. Yelping, I jump and wrap my arms around Zeke's waist, making him bark a laugh.

"Asshole!" I shout over the noise. Zeke's laughter echos into the night as we take off, heading out of town.

***

My wariness grows as Zeke drives us through a thick, wooded area. We're far from any pack lands that I know of, and no where near the place Zeke used to live. It's dark and secluded, and the thought passes through my head that if Zeke was actually just luring me out to kill me, he'll be able to with no witnesses. Serves me right for getting on his bike without knowing where the fuck we're going.

As we drive, an orange flickering light comes into view. The closer we get, I can see it's a bonfire in the middle of a circular clearing. Lining the clearing are tents in various colors and shapes; at least twenty or thirty of them. My lips part in shock. Their group is a lot bigger than I thought it would be.

"Holy shitballs," I breathe out as the motorcycle slows to a stop, taking in their new home.

From where we are on the outskirts of the clearing, I can clearly see beings of different species talking and laughing around the fire. Vampires with eyes as red as blood, and faeries batting their sparkling, pink eyes. A witch's eyes glow purple as her hand waves back and forth, making the sparks from the bonfire rise up explode like fireworks. The kids sitting at her feet cheer and clap their hands. Fucking children! Since when does Zeke allow children in his group?!

"What the hell, Zeke?" Slipping off the motorcycle, I remove my helmet and set it on the empty seat.

He grins, looking back at me. "You like?"

"I- how- wha-," I stammer, slowly shaking my head.

"Come on," Zeke chuckles and packs my back. "I'll introduce you to the family."

Letting out a discontented huff, I reluctantly follow him towards the bonfire. Our presence is detected rather quickly. Wolves sniff the air, and the vampires' ears twitch as they hear us treading along the grass and fallen leaves. Glowing eyes of varying colors turn our way, making me feel on edge. When Zeke would host parties in the woods, his group was never this fucking huge. Some of these creatures look like they could squash me without straining any of their terrifyingly huge muscles.

Like this one guy, for example, has been staring directly at me with dark eyes that scream: I can kill you and I will.

Yeah. I'll be avoiding him.

"You're back!" A friendly voice cheers. I look over to see Clara running towards us, her blonde hair pulled into a high ponytail.

"Hey, babe." Zeke leans down to peck his wife's cheek. She blushes before grinning up at me.

"Lucca, it's so good to see you again," Clara says, giving me a hug. "I was ecstatic when Zeke got your call. Our family has felt so empty without you!"

Chuckling nervously, I look around the large group. "You sure?" I ask her. "Because empty is not the word I'd use to describe this place."

Clara's smile widens. "Well, we have grown in number, yes. But that doesn't mean you haven't been missed!"

"I'll be honest, it does feel good to be back with other rogues. Living alone has fucking sucked."

Zeke tilts his head. "Alone? I thought you were living with that blonde rogue... London?"

"Landon," I correct him. "And nope, he's not a rogue anymore. Found his mate and joined their pack."

"Huh. Which pack, exactly?"

"Uh, the Crescent Sun Pack," I answer, unsure of why Zeke would want to know that.

"Ah, Alpha Thomas's pack," Zeke muses, and Clara hums in understanding.

I look between the two of them. "You know their Alpha?"

The look of contemplation on Zeke's face is smoothly replaced with a relaxed grin. "Never mind that. Let's get you settled in! I had Clara prepare a tent for you next to ours. It's not much, but it's a place to stay warm and lay your head."

I wave my hand. "Don't sweat it, I'm just glad you're letting me crash with you guys. Besides, I'm not some high-maintenance bitch. I'm cool with pissing in the woods."

"Good to know," Zeke laughs, leading me to the group around the bonfire. I feel a pair of eyes following me and notice that guy is still glaring at me. He has tribal tattoos covering nearly every inch of his dark skin, and large muscles that make my balls crawl up into my body out of fear.

"Who is that fucker and why is he looking at me like I ran over his cat?"

Zeke glances to where I'm looking and purses his lips. "That's Ren. He won't hurt you. He's one of our warriors."

I raise an eyebrow. "You shittin' me? You have warriors?"

"To protect our group," Zeke says, lowering his voice a bit. "Now, you should know this. Our group is comprised of nearly every species under the sun. Werewolves, vampires, witches, faeries, incubi... the only way we can peacefully co-exist is if everyone agrees to abide by the rules, okay? Everyone."

"Rules? Warriors? You guys sound like an actual fucking pack," I chuckle, but Zeke doesn't laugh.

"I'm serious, Luc," Zeke tells me. "We might not technically be a pack or a clan or whatever, but we still rely on structure to maintain peace among the species. I won't go over those rules tonight because you've clearly had a long day and could use some sleep first."

I reluctantly nod my head. "Okay..."

"Good," Zeke's grin returns. "We're your family now, alright? Everyone here has been abandoned by their birth families. We're basically a collection of outcasts. Think of us as a real-life group of Lost Boys."

Laughing, I say, "So what, does that make you Peter fucking Pan?"

"Damn right! Welcome to Neverland, Luc. You're one of us now."
