Tara's POV
I crawled away from him. I was going insane. All my nightmares, the pain, the drugs and everything.

I couldn't believe it. Everyone was quiet as they stared at us. I looked around and they all looked worried.

"Tara, please listen to me. I'll tell you every-" he was cut off by the sound of footsteps. A guard walked up to my cell and unlocked the door.

Two other guards grabbed both of my arms. "Let me go." I yelled at them as I struggled to get out of their tight grips.

"Shut up! We have to hurry." One of them said. I looked to everyone but him. What he had done was so horrible. I was out of my cell when suddenly it was burning.

My heart was burning. The guards fell to the floor and so did I. I lay there writhing in pain as everyone trued to get out of their cells.

I watched as tears rolled out of Jake's eyes. I looked down and noticed why. There was blood around my chest. My heart was bleeding.

It hurt like a knife was twisting in it. "Help me!! It hurts!! Please help." I yelled at them. Despite the vervaine they tried to break the cells.

Then I started coughing blood. I lay on my back as my life bled away. I was so tired. I wanted to die already. Bella was safe but the rest of my family-

That was when I felt a part if me leave. No!!!! No!!! Grandma!!!!! She's gone!!! I can't believe it.

I cried harder than ever. I hadn't had time to correct my mistakes. I was angry at her for everything but at the end sh was gone. What I fool I am??

I kept screaming in pain as my heart bled. I don't know why I was bleeding but it hurt so much. By the time I came out of my trance, Jake was carrying me.

The sky was dark as thunder and lightning roared and struck. I was terrified of what my emotions were causing. I tried to calm down but it wasn't working.

"Tar, please calm down. You're gonna destroy the entire city." I could see Jake's lips moving but I couldn't hear a thing. I couldn't even feel the sparks.

I could hear the vampires and witches fighting. The witches were back for revenge. Their queen had been murdered.

Jake entered the palace and laid me down on the seats made for the citizens yo sit on. I felt do cold as it began to rain and the wind kept blowing.

He sat beside me and wrapped his arms around me. "Can you tell me a story." He understood me enough to know that I meant I needed a distraction.

"Once there was a handsome horse. He was very strong and loved to eat. After a while he got bored.

He had run everywhere in the world so he had nothing to do until he met a female horse. She was so beautiful that even her snort sounded like music to him.

So he took her running and he realized that it wasn't boring. It was better than when he ran alone. And just like that she became his while world.

I never meant to hurt you Tara. They locked me up for a week and released me in your house. I had no idea that I had benn compelled to kill your parents and compel you." He said.

I still cried a I stared in his blue eyes. My heart as breaking. All this suffering, the drugs,the Masked Monster, being a vampire it's all his fault. The pain I've been through was all this fault.

It hurts that the love of my life is the murdered of my parents. "Who did that to you?" I whispered. I had already pushed away from him. "At that time, my mom and dad were drifting apart because my father never had time. The throne had taken up all his time.

My mom confronted him and they had a big fight. He left home. During that month, I thought my mom would die.

Jeremy and I found a group of vampires and joined their gang when they promised to help us. They kept their word and my father retuned home but we had a bigger price to pay.

They asked us to do so many this things that I wasn't proud of. It usually involved the death of innocents. Jeremy became a different person and did it without questioning them.

I hesitated and they usually had to threaten me. This time I told them I would never kill the parents of the woman I loved.

So that did that and when I was released I wasn't in control. I killed your parents in cold blood and I turned you. I don't deserve your forgiveness, bug I am so sorry." he said.

I stayed silent and kept crying. He tried to saving his family and ended up turning me into this weak and broken person.

Suddenly we heard footsteps and crying. Ask turned my heart fell and I got up to run but Jake held me down. "Move to the center of the dais." He commanded.

Jake led me to the dais as fear filled my entire body. The witches had tied up all my friends and they kneeled before me. The weirs thing was that some vampires had guns pointed at them.

They were dressed in black. I looked at Jake and he nodded. These were the people in the vampire gang.

"What do you want?" Jake yelled at them. "We need her to sit on the throne and become the new queen." One of them yelled.

More wot he's kept entering and I was so scared. The queen was dead and that needed a Jew one or else they would die. They had no connection to the ancestors.

The Queen wasn't alive so the graves wouldn't be active. Her death meant a new queen. I can't he that Queen. I'm not okay. I've lost myself.

I wish she were here. She would yell at them and than have ice cream with me so that I would stop crying. That was before she kidnapped me and had men whip me to death when I was seven.

You now know why I hated her. But it's all in the past and her death made me see it. Her death.
