Tara's POV

I ran and he chased me. Just like always. He caught me at the edge of the forest and pinned me to a tree.

Then he crashed his lips onto mine. I responded as I wrapped my hands around him. I had missed him so much.

When we broke apart I stared at the intense blue eyes I had missed so much. "Caught you!" He said.

I smiled and rolled my eyes. Jake and I sat under the tree and talked and talked and talked.

Elena and Braeden were running an orphanage and had become good people. T and Edward were expecting Twins.

Damon, Mason and Noah had found their mates. Bella was very stubborn and loved to prank Jake.

Genesis, Jake's sister is a very sweet girl who keeps asking for ice cream. She seems to love chocolate like me.

All in all everyone had a beautiful life ahead of them and I was so happy for that.

A month later...
"So how are you this morning, Mrs. Ashe?" Jake asked. Yes, we were married. And it was the best day of my life.

"I feel old. Stop calling me that." I said. He flipped us over and lay on top of me.

"I've loved you for a while. I kept chasing you and yet I never had you. But now I do and you're mine. I love you and I'll love until my last breath and even beyond that." He said as he kissed me.

For the first in my life I felt complete. I felt happy and I felt on top of the world. I felt like I could do anything.

Love is everything. I used to think that the pain and heartbreak wasn't worth it. I used to think that love wasn't worth fighting for.

But fear can be overcome. The darkness doesn't always have to overcome you. Whether you're broken or not we all have a chance.

Its not about the challenges we have. Its not about what we've been through. It not about what is happening to us.

It's about love.
Its that feeling of joy you get when you see a certain someone. When someone puts a smile on your face everyday. Its doing something for someone just because you care.

It not receiving a gift. Its about giving a gift. Someone else in my situation would have given up but I didn't and neither did Jake.

Jake loved me and chased me. He chased all the way until he caught me in his arms. He broke down my walls and filled me with love.

And I'm glad he never stopped chasing me. Cause he taught me that all I needed was love.

Chasing Tara just ended. I cried a little. Chasing Tara is not about this chapter to be precise but rather about the fact that Jake never gave up.

I'm sure you all thought that this story was about Tara but mostly it's not.

Its about perseverance and love. It's about Jakes determination to get Tara. To make her his.

Love is something very important in this world and if you find it, never let it go. You're beautiful and strong.
