Author's POV: 

"Get up Y/N!! You can't sleep in today again!!" Your mother shouted as you groaned lazily waking up. Sighing, you rubbed your eyes walking out of the bed just to bump into a shelf making you wince in pain.
"Ah! I-" You whined looking at the mirror to see a big and round reddish bump on your forehead.
"It swelled..." You sighed before cursing your ill-fate. 

"I really am not going to office like this!!" You groaned just to hear another shout of your mother. Sighing, you got ready for another unwanted day. 

--At the office

"Oh my! Y/N- What's this on your forehead-" Mina was cut off by you smacking her arm.
"Shh! Don't- I am not wearing a hat for nothing!" You scolded her as she replied, "It's still visible... Why do you even bother?" 

You groaned before looking down. 
"How did you even get this?" She asked trying not to laugh as you walked away ignoring her as she whined following you. 
"Ah, Y/N?" Mr Lee called as you looked down bowing.
"Hello, Mr Lee." You greeted without even seeing in front of you, scared of your bump being visible in front of others. 

"What are you wearing- why are you looking down?" Mr Lee asked not understanding your sudden behaviour.
"Actually Mr Lee- she has a bump on her forehead." Mina mouthed as he chuckled silently before looking at Taehyung who was coming this way.
"Well, Taehyung is coming. Do you both want to talk to him?" Mr Lee asked as you shook your head violently walking away as Taehyung looked at you walking away quickly. Mina giggled following you as Mr Lee chuckled. 

"She's so silly." Mr Lee spoke before looking at Taehyung who was looking at you go away. 
"You're coming here too often these days, aren't you?" Mr Lee asked Taehyung who looked at him awkwardly before saying, "I mean... I don't have anything to do. I only work once a week so.." Mr Lee chuckled before saying, "I get you. I get you. Now let's go to my cabin and have a cup of tea. Leave my employees to work peacefully please." 

Taehyung glared at him before coughing as he followed Mr Lee pretending as if nothing happened. Though his mind was stuck on you. 

---Time skip

"Why didn't you just apply foundation?" Mina asked as you replied, "It hurts..." She sighed saying, "Okay, wait here. Let me go bring some medicine for you. Stay in this room." You nodded before sighing.

You were currently in the break room doing nothing because of your bump on the forehead. Only if your mom hadn't forced you to work. Of course, she couldn't stand your clumsiness at work all the time. 

Suddenly you heard the door open as you looked back saying, "Thank god you came fas-" But your eyes widened as you saw Taehyung looking at you baffled instead of Mina. 
"Wha- wait, what's that on your forehead?" He asked confused coming a little closer as you backed away before looking away.
"N-Nothing. Just... makeup!" You said turning around making a fake crying face. 

"Wait- did you hurt your forehead?" He asked with a little mischief in his voice making you sigh. You knew his silliness. He wasn't gonna let you be in peace. 
"Yeah, are you okay?" He asked with a playful smile coming towards you trying to face you as you looked away. He giggled seeing you so embarrassed. 
"What's there to be so embarrassed about?" He asked chuckling as you coughed awkwardly feeling like he was teasing you. You faced him angrily as he kept teasing you. You were glaring at him with your Bambi eyes making him chuckle.

"You look cute. Just like an angry bird." He spoke laughing backing away a little seeing you pissed off at him. 
"Ugh! You're so annoying!!" You groaned trying to walk out of the room as he laughed.
"Is that why you were hiding all day?" He asked as you stopped looking down feeling a little sad. Taehyung noticed you and his playful smirk disappeared.
"Are you really sad?" He asked as you looked at him blankly ignoring him.

"Yah yah! I am sorry! Forgive me~ I won't tease you again." He said as you scoffed looking away. 
"How did you get hurt?" He asked as you replied, "I bumped my forehead into a shelf this morning." He made an 'O' face. 
"Does it hurt?" He asked almost touching it as you winced in pain backing away.
"Ah! It hurts! Don't touch me!" You glared at him as he gulped backing away nodding seeing you looking at him with a deadly glare. 

"Why are you so scared then?" He asked as you replied, "It's embarrassing. People will laugh at me." He chuckled saying, "Isn't that natural?" 
"What?" You asked as he replied, "Getting hurt. Everyone is more or less clumsy and gets hurt. What's there to be so embarrassed about?" You looked at him before looking away.
"I look like a clown." You replied looking down as he smiled saying, "You look cute to me though." You sighed looking at him blankly before saying, "Really? You're of no use. I think you're worse than me." 

He let out an offended breath saying, "I am trying to be nice to you! You shouldn't be that mean!" He said as you looked at him before scoffing. 
"OH? You're gonna be like that?" He asked as you nodded.
"Yes." You replied making him gasp.
"That's why you shouldn't be nice to people." He spoke as you nodded making him sigh. He let out a chuckle before looking at you in awe, "You're really one of a kind."

"I am~" You giggled as he laughed with you. 
"I am her-" Mina suddenly barged in excitedly as you both looked at her. She looked at you and Taehyung wide-eyed before saying, "What- is..." Your eyes widened realizing what nonsense was going on in her mind.

"Yah yah! I was here, he came in. So we were talking. Come in now and keep quiet." You spoke as she gulped shutting her mouth as Taehyung smiled a little understanding the situation. 
"I will leave then." He said looking at the medicine in Mina's hand. He looked at you before walking out of the room as you and Mina bowed to him. 

"She looks so cute." He said to himself giggling before walking the other way happily. 

---During Lunchtime 

"Ah, this food tastes so disgusting," Mina spoke as you nodded sighing. 
"Everything about this company is great except for the food." You replied as she nodded in full agreement. 
"Ah, let me call Hyunjin. I didn't contact him since last night." You spoke as she nodded eating. Getting up, you went towards a quieter place to call him. 

He picked up as you smiled talking to him. 

Hyunjin: Ah, hello! Y/N? Are you okay? Did you reach home safely?
Y/N: Oh yes, I did! What about you? 
Hyunjin: I did. 
Y/N: What about Mirae? Did she reach safely?
Hyunjin: You don't have to worry about her. What are you doing?
Y/N: I was eating lunch. Sorry I couldn't pick up your phone last night.
Hyunjin: That's fine. Were you busy last night? 

You thought about the incident that happened last night. You smiled remembering the funny moments with Taehyung. 

Y/N: Yeah, I was with a friend.
Hyunjin: Hmm, should I pick you up today?

Your eyes widened at his question. You surely didn't want him to see you with the huge ugly bump on your forehead.

Y/N: No! No! No! I am completely okay! haha, I am going... with- Mina!
Hyunjin: Oh... okay? I will hang up then. See you.
Y/N: Yeah! See you~ 

You smiled hanging up. You walked back to eat your lunch to see Mina laughing with Taehyung. You furrowed your brows looking at them, "Are they, friends?" Shrugging it off, you enjoyed your lunch.

--After office 

"Let's go together~" You chuckled seeing Mina so excitedly. She quickly ran towards a car which you assumed to be a cab. You both planned to go to a cafe together. 
Going towards the car, your smile turned into a frown seeing the driver. 

"Hello, ladies! Get in." Taehyung spoke as Mr Lee smiled awkwardly at you. Mina grinned getting in the backseat telling you to join her as you scratched your neck. 
"What are you both..." Your voice trailed off as Mina replied, "Ah, we are going on a happy and- great... uhh... restaurant together!" You sighed nodding. 
You looked down as Mr Lee replied, "It's okay. Enjoy the view too. I saw your bump earlier." You choked on your saliva hearing him as Taehyung chuckled while Mina looked at anywhere but you. 

--In the restaurant 

"What should we order?" Mina asked looking at the menu.
"How about a cheesy pasta?" Mr Lee suggested as Mina nodded.
"Let's order a few things together and share them! Cause why not?" Taehyung asked as you all looked at him impressed.
"Great." You mumbled impressed by his idea as he smiled widely feeling proud. 

---Time skip 

"Here's your order." The waiter said before serving pasta, pizza and the drinks you all ordered. You all dug in the food enjoying it. Waves of laughter and chats, eating and drinking, it was a great time that made you feel happier. 
"Excuse me." You said getting up before walking towards the washroom. You did your work and washed your hands before checking your face. 
"Does it really look cute? Or was he teasing me.." You looked at the bump on your forehead. Though you were hiding your face in the restaurant, you thought if it really was that of a big deal. 

"Of course, how long can I even go like this... even if they laugh now, they won't remember me forever right? Should I just go out like this?" You asked yourself before shaking your head.
"No Y/N. You might be clumsy but you're not as insane as that silly guy." You sighed walking out before joining them again. 

---7:00 pm 

"Let's go back. I'll drop you all." Taehyung spoke trying to find an excuse to go home with you. You wanted to oppose but Mina and Mr Lee got in making you join them. The car drive was comfortable even though it was with two of the CEOS. They were no less than you and Mina. You were doubting their age at this point. 

"I don't think they're that old. Maybe they're somewhat our age." Mina spoke as you nodded. Taehyung dropped Mr Lee and then Mina. You were still sitting on the backseat as Taehyung spoke, "Sit here. It'll be comfier." You shook your head but ended up sitting there anyway. He was stubborn for no reason. 

He was driving and you couldn't help but feel sleepy. You yawned a few times trying to stay up but ended up falling asleep. Taehyung looked at you before chuckling. 
"She's so pretty," He spoke before looking forward. He kept glancing at you before parking the car near your house. He smiled seeing your sleeping face. A few of your hair strands were falling on your face, he tucked them behind your ear smiling. 

"I think I am falling for you." He spoke but gulped backing away seeing you get up yawning.
