-------After work

"Ahh. What a tiring day!" You said stretching your arms standing outside the office building when you suddenly heard a chuckle.
"Oh? What are you doing here?" You asked seeing Taehyung as he said, "I was here the whole day."
"Then what about your company? Who took care of it?" You asked as Taehyung chuckled.
"My secretary. He is the one who handles stuff." He said as you nodded.

"So you're a useless CEO." You said in a low voice as he choked on his breath.
"No! Of course not." He said as you chuckled.

"Let me drop you off." He said as you shook your head.
"No, it's okay. I will book a cab." You said as he said, "Why would you book a cab when I can just give you a ride for free?" He asked as you sighed.

"Don't you have work?" You asked as he scratched his neck.
"Umm.. I do but-" He was speaking but you cut him off saying, "It's really fine. You don't have to help me so much. You don't have any reason to either. I am fine." You said as he looked down nodding.

"Ah! My cab is here! See you." You said smiling as he nodded waving back.
"She's right though..I don't have any reason to drop her leaving my work." He said looking at you leave while he could feel a little ache in his heart.

----Next day

"Ah.. Holidayyy~~~" You exclaimed smiling happily as you turned on your phone to call Hyunjin when suddenly someone called you as you scrunched your brows seeing the caller ID. 'Unknown Number'

"What.. Who is this?" You mumbled picking up.

Y/N: "Hello? Who are you?"
Taehyung: "What do you mean? Don't you know me?"
Y/N: "Umm... The number isn't saved..?"
Taehyung: "You still didn't save my number? I am hurt."
Y/N: "Wait... Mr. Kim!?!"
Taehyung: "I'm honoured~"
Y/N: "Why did you call me in the morning?"
Taehyung: "Are you free today?"
Y/N: "Umm, I don't have plans.."
Taehyung: "Then get ready, I'll take you somewhere."
Y/N: "What? Where? Why?"
Taehyung: "Aish! Stop asking questions. Be ready~"
Y/N: "But-"

He hung up the call as you sighed.
"What's wrong with this man?" You asked before scratching your neck.
"Ahh whatever I don't care!" You said lying on the couch.

----30 minutes later

"Why am I even getting ready. God. I can't let him come out of nowhere and see my hair like a bird's nest either." You said to yourself applying your lip balm.

Suddenly you thought about the number.
"I should change this name." You said before changing the name to:
'Mr. Kim Taehyung'

Suddenly he texted you as you checked it.

You giggled at his silliness before going down. Before leaving, you checked your chats with Hyunjin. No reply. What's making him so busy in Jeju? You looked down a little worried before sighing getting out of the house. 

"Hello~~" He said as you replied, "Why would you make me go out with you on a holiday?" You asked getting inside as he giggled.
"Cause we are friends~" He said.
"I never agreed though." You mumbled as he started driving.

"Where are we going?" You asked as he chuckled replying, "Somewhere~"

---Time skip

Almost half an hour passed by while he drove you somewhere. All this time, you kept asking him but he wasn't an easy one for sure. And you had no other choice but to give up. 
He glanced at you a few times before speaking, "Did you apply makeup?" You nodded a little coughing awkwardly. 

He smiled a little before driving forward while you looked out of the window. Suddenly, your phone rang grabbing your and Taehyung's attention. You checked the caller ID and smiled,
'Him👉🏽💕'

You picked up the phone while speaking softly, 

Y/N: "Hello~ Hyunjinah?" 

Taehyung looked at you with a blank stare before scoffing lowly before driving with a sour face. 
"What's with that fake tone?" He mumbled driving totally annoyed while you were speaking on the phone. 

Hyunjin: "Ah, Y/N. I am sorry for not calling you. Are you fine?" 
Y/N: "Ah! It's okay!! I am fine... what about you? Is everything fine there?"
Hyunjin: "Yeah. It is. I might be coming back in a day. What are you doing?"
Y/N: "Nothing much... going somewhere." 
Hyunjin: "Where?" 

You thought for a while before asking Taehyung in a low tone, "Where are we going?" Taehyung looked at you and sensed you were talking to Hyunjin about that. 
"To your so-called fiancee's funeral." He mumbled as you looked at him confused not understanding what he said.
"Where??" You asked as he replied, "Somewhere." You sighed before talking to Hyunjin again.

Y/N: "I am not sure. It seems like some work-related. Yeah." 
Hyunjin: "Oh.. okay! Did you eat?" 
Y/N: "Y-Yeah.. You?" 
Hyunjin: "I did. Anyways, I have to go now. I have to pack the bags and also my friend needs me. See you. Take care." 
Y/N: "Take care.. see you later~" 

You giggled a little hanging up as Taehyung side-eyed you before glaring at the steering wheel. 

The car abruptly stopped as you almost gasped before looking at Taehyung with wide eyes. 
"We are here." He said as you nodded about to get off but Taehyung being Taehyung stopped you before getting off and opening the door himself. You sighed getting out.
"Didn't I tell you-" You were protesting but got cut off by him smiling cheekily at you before pointing behind you. 

You looked behind to see an amusement park. You gasped before looking on the other side to see Mr Lee, Mina and a few more workers standing there. You scrunched your brows before walking there while Taehyung followed you. 

"Mr Lee?" You asked eyeing Mina as she grinned at you. 
"You both are late." Mr Lee said as you looked at them confused. 

"Did you really forget Y/N? Today is a special day!" He said as you looked at them confused. 
"What day?" You asked as Mina replied, "Today is Mr Lee's birthday!" She whispered as your eyes widened. 
"But today is 20th May!" You said before thinking for a while. 

Taehyung burst into laughter as you checked your phone. 22nd May, Mr Lee's birthday. Your eyes widened as you looked at him embarrassed. 

"I expected that. A late wish is fine." Mr Lee joked as you looked down ashamed. 
"I am sorry Mr Lee. Happy birthday.." You said in a low voice as he smiled patting your head. 
"It's okay. Just enjoy today. I didn't make Taehyung bring you here for you to keep your face down." He smiled as you nodded a little. Mina sighed as Taehyung smiled.

"I am sorry Mr Lee! I don't even have a gift." You said as he chuckled.
"You working for me without sleeping in for twice a week is enough!" He said as you coughed while Mina laughed silently. The workers behind, Jimin and Jungkook, who were also Mr Lee's cousins tried not to laugh. You glanced at Taehyung who had a smile on his face. 

"Okay okay! Let's forget this on a good day. Let's enjoy!" Mina said as everyone cheered entering the amusement park. 

---Inside the Amusement park 

"What ride should we ride?" Taehyung asked as Mr Lee pointed towards the roller coaster making Taehyung quickly pull his hand down gulping. Mr Lee laughed while you looked at Taehyung suspiciously. 
"Mr Kim, are you scared of roller coasters?" You asked as he coughed awkwardly before replying in a bold voice. 

"Of course not! I am a manly man!" He said as you smirked looking at Mina who had the same smirk. 
"They don't believe you, Mr Kim." Jungkook said as Taehyung looked at them a little awkwardly before looking at you. 

"Why? Do you like guys who can ride the roller coaster?" He asked as you eyed him weirdly. 
"Why are you interested in knowing that?" You asked as he replied, "Just.. normally!" You sighed before walking ahead. Mina looked at Taehyung a little suspiciously before following you. 

"Mr Lee. I heard you like the Ferris wheel. Should we go there?" You asked as he thought for a while. 
"Shouldn't we take a manly test first and go to the roller coaster?" Mr Lee asked as you looked at him a little awkwardly and then at Taehyung who was glaring at Mr Lee with all his might. 
"Let's go! I am in!" Mina said as Jimin replied, "Me too!" Jungkook smirked nodding too while eyeing Taehyung. 

"I am in too!" You said. Everyone had agreed by now except for Taehyung who was standing there blankly. 
"Aren't you coming?" You asked as he looked at you with desperation in his eyes. He didn't want to get a heart attack on the rollercoaster nor did he want to look like a scared cat in front of you.

"Yeah, I am in!" He said as you all nodded getting on the roller coaster. You were about to sit beside Mina but she smirked sitting beside Jungkook making you confused. 
"Does she like him or what?" You muttered glaring at her. Jimin sat alone at the last as everyone chuckled knowing he was also a little scared. Mr Lee was about to sit but he noticed Jimin sitting alone. Sighing, he joined his little brother. 

Now you and Taehyung were the only ones left. You checked all the seats, all were taken. The only seat left was the front one. You went and sat there and saw Taehyung standing there.
"Mr Kim?" You asked as his eyes widened seeing you sitting on the front bench. He analyzed the entire roller coaster to see no vacant seat. Sighing, he came towards you sitting beside.

You looked down a little awkwardly. Sitting with him was definitely a little awkward. But there wasn't any option left either. He sat beside you while chanting something making you confused. Not even a while later the roller coaster started as you were enjoying it to the fullest not realizing the dying soul right beside you.
