Author's POV:

"Thank you for dropping me home and noting down my address." You said sarcastically as he coughed before saying, "Got caught!" He said as you rolled your eyes.
"See you~ Don't miss me too much!" He said driving off as you stared at the car going.
"What a literal shameless!" You said before walking inside your apartment building as a thought crossed your mind, 'Why didn't Hyunjin call me all day? Didn't even pick up my calls..' You thought before sighing.

But suddenly smiled thinking about the weird day you had with that weird person.

----At night

You did your skincare before plopping on the bed thinking about random stuff.
"Am I really going to get married in a few months?" You asked yourself before giggling. Suddenly you heard your phone ringing as you saw the caller id. 'Him👉🏽💕'

You smiled before receiving the call.

Hyunjin: "Hello Y/N?"
Y/N: "Yeah! Hyunjin. How are you? Why didn't you pick up my calls?"
Hyunjin: "Ahh.. I am sorry for that! I am in Jeju right now, I had an urgent situation and had to go there. My phone died too. Sorry."
Y/N: "It's okay! Is everything fine? When are you coming back?"
Hyunjin: "Ahh.. my friend's mother died and I'll be coming back in somewhat in 3-4 days. I am again so sorry. I'll call you every day."
Y/N: "Okay! Stay safe. And you don't have to call me if you're too busy."
Hyunjin: "See you. Take care."
Y/N: "See you. Goodnight! Sleep well~"

You hung up sighing. "What was so urgent?" You asked yourself but shrugged it off.
"I hope everything's fine. At least he called me." You said smiling to yourself before keeping the phone on the night table as you closed your eyes to sleep.

-----Next day

"Ahh.." You groaned waking up to see 7 missed calls. You scrunched your eyebrows before checking to see it was messaged by Mina as your eyes widened.

"SHIT SHIT!" You screamed before running towards the bathroom.

----Time skip

"BYE, MOM!!" You said stuffing the toast in your mouth running out of the house.
"Shit.. How do I go there? The cab needs at least 15 minutes!" You sighed looking down.

"Wanna hop in? I am going to the place you are going to." You heard a voice as your head shot up.
"Mr. Kim?"

Taehyung's POV:

"Shit! I am late." I sighed before quickly grabbing my coat as I walked out of my mansion.
"I'll drive today." I said to my driver as he nodded. Sighing, I quickly started the car driving off.

But today, I suddenly wanted to go through Ms Y/N's neighbourhood.
I just found her so interesting that day. I don't know why I just wanted to see her through it was past her office's entrance time.

"Lalala~" I smiled driving when suddenly I saw a woman standing in front on the side of the road looking down. I realized, it was Y/N.
Is she late too? Let me give her a ride I guess.

"Wanna hop in? I am going to the place you are going to." I said as her head shot up. She looked at him confused before asking, "Mr Kim? What are you doing here?" I just coughed saying, "The other road was... Blocked! So I took this way, yeah." I said as she nodded.

"Hop in if you don't wanna be late." I said as she smiled mumbling a little, "Thank you." She sat buckling her seatbelt as I glanced at her before starting to drive.

"You are late too.." She said as I giggled.
"I am a busy person to wake up early you know." I said as she chuckled. It sounds so pleasant to my ears.

The whole driving time, she was either looking out of the window or sitting normally as I glanced at her from time to time. She looks so ethereal, her doe eyes, button nose and plump lips.

I shrugged my thoughts before parking the car.

"We are here." I said as she was about to get off but I stopped her.
"Wait. Don't get off." I said getting out of the car as she looked at me confused. I giggled opening the car door for her as she sighed.

"Hitting on me is of no use. I am engaged." She said shoving her ring finger on my face while laughing jokingly as I laughed along. But I didn't like it. I don't know why I didn't like this at all.

----In the office || Author's POV:

"Hello, Mr Kim. Oh Y/N? Why are you late?" Mr Lee asked as you opened your mouth to speak but Taehyung cut you off saying, "Ah. Sorry, Mr Lee. She was with me. I saw her coming to the office but had an urgent situation and needed help so I took her since we knew each other." He said as Mr Lee nodded.

"As long as she didn't sleep in." Mr Lee said as you looked down gulping while Taehyung chuckled.
"Let's start the meeting then." He said as Mr Lee nodded. You went to your cubicle since they didn't need any secretary for the meeting.

All this time of working, you could feel a piercing gaze at you. You gulped looking at Mina who was glaring at you like she was going to eat you any moment. You sighed before saying, "I just..." You stopped as she raised her hand. You closed your eyes thinking she would hit you but to your surprise, she patted your back.

"Good you came with Mr Kim. Marry him." She said as you looked at her weirdly.
"I am engaged!" You said as she sighed.
"Oh come on! Mr Kim looks like he is interested in you." She said as you rolled your eyes.
"No way. He is just flirty. And I don't have time to play around." You said as she sighed.
"Lovesick girl.." She mumbled as you did your work giggling before texting Hyunjin.

-----During Lunch

"Ah. The office cafe has a new dish today, I heard." Mina said as you looked at her confused.
"Banana flavoured doughnuts." She said as you looked at her totally speechless.
"Banana flavoured WHAT?!" You nearly screamed making her shut her eyes tight as she hissed at you before speaking, "Yeah. Banana flavoured doughnuts. God knows what weird stuff they might bring tomorrow." You just nodded before heading there with her.

Suddenly, you saw Taehyung eating the doughnuts. You chuckled seeing him.
"As expected." You mumbled as Mina looked at you and then the direction you were looking in.
"Oh! That's... Mr Kim!" Mina said as you nodded.
"He's eating here, I see." She said as you looked beside him to see random girls standing around him, some admiring him, some trying to hit on him.

"LOOK. Everyone's trying to hit on him. He's so perfect! Why don't you ju-" She was talking as you hissed at her. You both were whispering when suddenly someone called you.

"Ms. Y/N!" Taehyung called waving at you as the entire cafe looked in your direction. You coughed awkwardly fake smiling at him.
"He just.. Waved at you. Go marry him!!" Mina whisper yelled earning a glare from you as she looked away pretending nothing ever happened.
"Even if he breaths, you'll tell me to marry him. Why don't YOU marry him instead?" You asked as she coughed awkwardly.

"Come sit!" Taehyung said as you smiled going near him as you said, "Oh. I am actually sitting with my best friend, I hope you don't mind." You said as Mina suddenly said, "Well. I can just leav-" She was talking but shut up not wanting to anger you anymore.
"Oh sure then." He said as you nodded bowing at him before going to the counter with Mina to order.

You were eating peacefully with Mina while giggling and laughing as the conversation contained pretty much a lot of jokes and entertainment. Taehyung on the other hand was glancing at you from time to time as he smiled seeing your eyes turn into crescent while laughing, your white sparkly teeth visible and you licking your lips from time to time so they don't dry up.

"Oh, Mr Kim." Mr Lee called as Taehyung's attention diverted towards him.
"Oh hello. Sorry, I just came here without informing." He said as Mr Lee chuckled.
"No problem." He said as Taehyung smiled before saying, "Have a seat."

Mr Lee sat down and said, "You seem to be giving a lot of attention to this office. I guess you like the place?" Mr Lee asked as Taehyung smiled nodding as he looked at you.
"Maybe I do." He said as Mr Lee followed his gaze smiling.
"Let's not talk about work during lunch. We can just act as we used to in high school." Mr Lee said as Taehyung laughed.

"We look like we don't know each other personally cause we are so professional. But sometimes, I still remember the old memories of us." Mr Lee said as Taehyung chuckled.
"No one can even guess. I remember how we would both fail every exam and now are CEOs of one of the biggest companies in Korea." Taehyung said as Mr Lee nodded.

"I can't believe you are a year younger than me. Kim Taehyung, you really did become too successful." Mr Lee said as Taehyung laughed while enjoying his doughnuts. But from time to time, he glanced at you and a small smile played on his lips which didn't go unnoticed by Mr Lee.

"Taehyung-ah. Sometimes, you might not be sure of what you want. Time doesn't wait for anyone, it won't wait for you to realize what you truly want. Because once you realize it, it will be too late. So utilise the time properly." Mr Lee said as Taehyung looked at him confused.

"Why are you saying that to me?" He asked as Mr Lee smiled at him.
"You'll know soon." He said before sipping his coffee.
