Author's POV: 

"Mmm! This is yummy!" You spoke eating as Taehyung smiled putting one more meat on your plate. You stared at it for a while before looking at him. 
"Taehyungah, will our friendship change because of this dating thing?" You asked as he looked at you confused.
"It's just that... it feels distant. Is it because never dated..?" You asked as he said, "We are used to being friends you know. We've been friends for half a year now. You know, dating isn't necessarily about changing your entire relationship with someone but it's more about taking a step closer to their heart." You looked at him impressed.

"You know a lot for someone who never dated." You spoke as he replied, "I did fall in love though, with you." You tried not to smile like an idiot and coughed awkwardly eating. 
You looked at him eating happily and spoke,
"Do you want to order another serving? You look hungry." Taehyung smiled replied, "As always! Y/N knows me the best!" He showed you a thumbs up as you chuckled before calling the waiter as you both enjoyed your lunch. 

"It took us 2 hours to reach here. Where are we going next?" You asked Taehyung who thought for a while.
"Somewhere..." He spoke as you stared at him for a while saying, "Do you have a knack for repeating the same dialogues every month?" He chuckled saying, "I remember the first time I made you wake up in the morning like that!"
"I was so annoyed! But I think, that was probably the time I started seeing you as a good person and cared for you. Otherwise, I wouldn't be crazy enough to go out with someone at 10 am right after waking up." Taehyung giggled as you smiled at him. 

---Time skip

"It's 1 pm. Where are we going?" You asked as Taehyung smiled parking his car near a house. You were near the countryside. But it wasn't the same place as before. A different yet warm one. 
"Whose house is this? Looks pretty old.. but nice." You spoke looking here and there as you both entered through the gate. Taehyung smiled admiring the place as you looked at him confused. The house was empty, no one was there.

"Where are we?" You asked as he replied, "My house. The house where I lived with my parents after they moved to Seoul years ago." He spoke as you looked at him surprised. 
"It's pretty." You spoke smiling as he smiled back saying, "This house has so many memories of me and my family. That's why I often visit this special place."
"You can sit on that bench for a while. I will check something real quick so we can rest here." He spoke. You nodded walking towards a bench. You looked carefully. It had written something on it, 'Taehyung and Appa's seat, sit without permission and get bitten by a squirrel.'

"The spelling is wrong." You spoke smiling while caressing the words written on it. You looked here and there.
"He must have more history than he says." You said to yourself as you looked down sighing.

"I am back~ Did you miss me?" He asked as you looked at him with an 'im so fed up' look as he coughed awkwardly saying, "Come with me." You followed him inside. The rooms were pretty beautifully decorated. 
"Woah, the decoration looks good." You spoke as he replied, "Of course! My mom made these frames. Aren't these pretty?" You looked at it in surprise nodding.
"Very pretty." You spoke smiling as he sat on the sofa gesturing you to sit.

"I'll bring something to drink. Wait here." You nodded sitting. He sat beside you with two glasses of orange juice.
"Sorry, the furniture isn't very modern." He spoke as you smiled taking a sip from your glass saying, "It's refreshing. You don't get to see these houses every day! These remind me of nature, it's pretty." 
"Are you saying this so I don't get hurt?" He asked as you replied, "Do I look like I'd do that?" He shook his head as you nodded but soon looked at him asking, "It's true but it sounded a little offensive." He coughed awkwardly looking away not wanting you to understand.

"Why did you bring me here though? Isn't this place special to you?" You asked as he replied, "Because you're special to me." You looked at him before looking away, you felt very comfortable with him, very warm and loved.

---Time skip

You both had been chatting and talking about stuff, about you and him and much more. He shared some stories of his family with you which had you laughing while rolling on the floor, some made you sad and some made you feel warm. You also shared many of your stories with him. It was a comfortable and peaceful yet chaotic time, just as you both always spent your time even before dating. 

"It's almost 4. When did time pass? I didn't realize!" You spoke as Taehyung replied, "Let's go then. I have somewhere to take you." 
"Tch, you keep taking me here and there." You spoke as he spoke, "Then don't you want to go?" 
"Did I ever say no? Why would you exaggerate it?" You asked walking towards the car as he smiled following you after closing the house door. 

--Time skip

"Why are we at a cemetery? Are we visiting someone dea-" You stopped as soon as you realized where you were. You looked at Taehyung who had a sad smile on his face.
"I wanted to visit my parents. Show them, my girlfriend." He spoke as you gulped looking at him with a slight frown. You felt very bad for him. Your heart was aching for him. It felt as if a smile on his face would heal everything in your heart. 

You both went inside and stood in front of the two graves side by side. There was also a family photo of Taehyung and his parents. You stared at the fruits and soju in front of the graves. Taehyung smiled sitting as he spoke, "Mom, dad. I'm here again! Did you miss me~" 
You looked at him with a little large eyes hearing his same dialogue. 
'Is that just how he greets people and does not fool around?' You thought smiling a little seeing him.
"You saw my girlfriend, right? She's pretty, right? She nags me a lot as well! She's so annoying and confusing! But I can't help anything- I fell for her first! Your son's such a loyal man... Like, dad!" He spoke smiling as you looked at him with a sad face. You were feeling so broken seeing him. 

"You are doing well, right? I am so fine~ and now that I have a nagger with me, I think I'll be better! Hehe, see you again then! I am soo busy these days! I am so successful you know~" He spoke looking down. He was smiling but his eyes looked sad. He bowed saying, "I'll go then! Stay well." 

"Let's go." He spoke smiling at you about to walk away but you smiled speaking, "Hello Mr and Mrs Kim." Taehyung who was about to walk away stopped looking at you confused.
"Your childish son is in good hands, so don't worry! Even if it takes a nagging of 10 years, I'll make sure to take good control of him! I hope you are doing well there!" You spoke chuckling as he looked at you with an unreadable expression. He was sad but also looked happy and surprised at the same time.
"I even broke off my marriage for him... Where will he find such a good person, right? Hehe, so don't worry and rest in peace! We'll come back again!" You spoke as Taehyung walked towards the grave pretending to hear something as he spoke, 

"What? Dad? You don't want her near? Alright! I'll ask her to get lost!" Taehyung spoke in a pretentious voice saying, "Yah! My dad doesn't like you at all! Get lost! I can't date you!"
"Then I'll come back every day and give him gifts and make him like me." You spoke as he gasped.
"Appa! Hear her? She's so clever!" He spoke as he pretended to hear something again.
"What? You don't accept bribes?! You'll kick her out? Okay!" He spoke as you fake scoffed before chuckling. Taehyung also broke into laughter as you both smiled at each other. 
"Forgive us for the chaos. I hope you both enjoyed hearing your son's chaotic laugh!" You spoke as Taehyung looked at you with a smile. 
"Rest in peace. We'll visit you again." You bowed before holding Taehyung's hand smiling at him to which he reciprocated.

You both got out as he sat in the car looking at you. You smiled saying, "What?"
"Nothing.." He spoke focusing back on driving. After driving for a while, you both sat on a bench near the beautiful roads in the countryside. 
"Ah... Almost a day passed by. We only did things I wanted. I was just a little excited to bring you here. I forgot about your wishes. What do you want to do?" He asked as you replied, "Nothing... It's good here."
"I'm sorry... I ruined the day, didn't I? It was supposed to be our first day but it became rather weird and personal. Do you perhaps want to cancel this day? Let's make tomorrow our first special day!" You smiled at him caressing his hand as he looked at it before looking at you. You weren't one to act nice without a little chaos.

"No, I don't want to. Today is more than enough to be our first day." You spoke as he replied, "We didn't do much."
"But still, you took a step closer to my heart." You spoke making him look at you. 
"You're right. Even though we're dating, it doesn't change anything between us. It doesn't erase our memories and feelings, it's just about the closeness between us. And it's not like we're strangers. Before my boyfriend, you've been my best friend who comforted me in hard times, made me laugh and cry, nag and scream.. and of course, worry like heck! Not as a boyfriend or best friend, but a person in my life, as 'us', today made you take a step closer to my heart." You spoke smiling as he looked at you with eyes full of warmth.

"It's our first day of dating but not our first day as 'us'. And I'm glad you shared your life with me, and I got to meet your parents too! Isn't it great? I also kind of... won their hearts? I'm sure they're praising me from far away! This meaningful day is enough for me." You spoke as he stared at you. You looked back at him, your eyes locked with each other. But his question made your eyes widen as your heartbeats raised. 

"Can I kiss you?"
