Author's POV: 

"I know I'm slow-witted and dumb but... I think I like you." 

Taehyung looked at you completely surprised and baffled as you scratched your neck saying, "I didn't speak Chinese. Why are you staring at me so strangely?" 
"Are you joking around with me right now?" He asked as you sighed.
"I also asked that to myself if I was joking around. But I don't think I am. You're not even sane enough for me to fake my feelings." You spoke as he scoffed.
"What if I am not sane? I am handsome!" He spoke as you coughed nodding. 

"Yah, I just told you I like you. Why are you so chill?" You asked seeing him act, unlike his character.
"I don't believe you. So I'm trying to guess if I am dreaming or something. I swear I saw you being SOOO confident about your feelings for Hyunjin and now you're confessing to me.." He spoke as you looked at him with large eyes.

"YAH! I never confessed! I just said I think I like you. Why would you exaggerate it?" You asked as he looked at you with a 'you.are.dumb' look. 
"You're dumb." He spoke sighing as you looked at him annoyed.
"Why would you-" You were talking but he got off the swing smiling as he spoke, "Let's go! It's late." You looked at him confused. Why was he ignoring your confession? 
Walking behind him, you stopped him saying, "Kim Taehyung." He looked back confused.

"Why are you trying to change the topic? I just said I like you. I even cancelled the marriage with Hyunjin. And all you do is ignore me?!" You screamed irritated as he looked at you blankly before bursting out in laughter. You looked at him confused as he spoke, "I don't know what to do with you." 
"What do you mean? You're the dumb one!" You spoke as he walked closer to you saying, "Let me drop you home." You huffed seeing him walk away.
"Why do I even expect anything from that idiot?" You asked yourself sulking as you walked behind him towards the car. You got in the car as he started driving. He glanced at you remembering the first-ever time you sat in the car. You were looking outside the car window just like the first day you were sitting inside his car. 

Just the difference this time was that this time, it felt warm and homely, unlike the first time when you both didn't even know each other properly. Time flies so fast.

--Time skip

"Go inside! See you!" Taehyung spoke as you nodded about to walk towards your house but stopped and turned around walking towards him as you asked, "Kim Taehyung. Do you still like me? Or did you move on in 3 days? Is that why you're ignoring me?" 
He looked at you smiling as he said, "No, I don't like you." You frowned staring at him in disbelief. He smiled hugging you as he spoke, "I love you." Your breath hitched as he spoke the 3 words. 

"You-" You were talking but got cut off by him saying, "I liked you the moment I saw you. But after I started getting to know you and becoming closer to you, I think I ended up loving you. Tch, my feelings are manly and mature, alright?" 
You were still pretty perplexed and shocked. You didn't expect him to say it like that. 
"And I wasn't ignoring you, I was just too happy and surprised." He spoke as you replied, "Oh. But why are you still hugging me?" 
"Do you have a problem? Shouldn't you be happy? The guy you like is hugging you." Taehyung spoke as you coughed awkwardly saying, "I wasn't expecting this though." 

"Then did you expect me to kiss you?" He asked as you spoke, "AAA! Shut up! Why are you so bold with some words? And, no- I mean, do I look like a creep?" 
Taehyung chuckled saying, "You do. You're a dumb creep."
"Says the one who was sticking to me with ulterior motives." You retorted as he sighed pulling away before saying, "Yah. That's not- Ah! I stuck to you because I wanted to, it doesn't mean anything creepy. And, I also tried to get away from you when you said you made up with Hyunjin. But you keep interfering." You scoffed at his statement. 

"Are you blaming me when you made me fall for you?! Aish, you made a committed person break their marriage and then fall for you and then you blame her?! What a jerk!" You spoke as he chuckled saying, "Did I ask you to like me? Don't act like you broke off the marriage because of me."
"Fine! You know me too well. Tch." You spoke as he smiled. 

"But, I've been curious about something." You spoke as he looked at you confused.
"So, don't get me wrong. It's just that- since I mean... so like- yeah, DON'T MISUNDERSTAND! Are we... d-dating?" You asked as he processed what you said.
"Shouldn't we?" He asked as you coughed awkwardly saying, "I just broke off my marriage, it looks weird- though I like you for some time now, it's still weird- like- how do you-" 

You were talking but got cut off by a pair of soft lips on yours. Your eyes widened and your heartbeat raised to 3000%. You didn't know what happened, not even a second later, Taehyung pulled away saying, "Good. Now I like it. You should shut up like this sometimes. How can someone live such a tense life?! Even on our first ever encounter, you were nagging me- And now you're doing it again?! Woah!" 
You gulped looking at him before saying, "You-"
"Oh, did I surprise you? I am sorry-" Taehyung spoke smiling before patting your head. It had been so long since he patted your head. A sad smile appeared on your lips as you spoke, "You jerk." He looked at you confused.

"What? Why am I a jerk now?!" Taehyung asked as you stepped on his foot making him scream in pain.
"Why did you-" He whined while jumping on one leg as you scoffed.
"You shouldn't be so lovely! You're better off being a dumb idiot who annoys me all the time! Just the fact I like you is so annoying! Now you're playing with my heart?!?!" You shouted stomping towards your house as Taehyung groaned.

"Why is she so mean to me? She said she likes me!" Taehyung whined seeing you enter the house.
"You better pay for my medical fee- Wait, did she say I am lovely? Aish! My toe hurts!" 

--At night

'You should pay for my medical fees- You calling me lovely won't fix the pain in my toe!!' 

You sighed seeing the text from Taehyung.
"How did I end up liking him.." You sighed before smiling as you realized how happy you were feeling. Though you were also always irritated by him, seeing him always made you worried and annoyed, it probably wasn't just because he was annoying. But because you always had feelings for him hidden somewhere. It just took you long enough to realize that. 

'Yah! Today is our 1st day of dating and you do this?!' 

You saw the test before realizing he was right.

'Let's make tomorrow our first day then!'  You texted him just to get another text back saying, 'Then we're going on a date! I'll pick you up at 10 in the morning!' You saw the text as a chuckle left your lips.

"It feels weird... but exciting." You spoke smiling but soon your smile turned into a frown.
"What about my work?!" You asked yourself but suddenly your phone binged with a notification as you checked it. It was from Mr Lee.

'It's okay if you don't come tomorrow. I got a substitute for you.'

"That Kim Taehyung- At this point... he might as well make me his wife. I can just freeload off him." You said sighing.

'Now you're coming! Goodnight🥴💕'

You giggled seeing his silly emojis once again before texting him, 'Mm! Goodnight! :)'. Turning off your phone, you lied on your bed staring at the ceiling as a giggle left your lips remembering how he pecked your lips before.
"He shouldn't have done that! Ah- so annoying!" You spoke hiding your face with the pillow.

"Am I dreaming.." Taehyung spoke to himself staring at the mirror.
"No... I am not. I should just make a drama on my life. Ah! What should I wear tomorrow?" Taehyung asked himself with a smile opening his wardrobe full of clothes.

---Next day 

"I'm here!" Taehyung spoke waving from his car as you smiled walking outside.
"Hi!" You spoke as he asked, "Did you sleep well? Did you dream of me~~" 
"How did you know? I dreamt of you! A monkey eating bananas!" You spoke as his smile dropped.
"You need to learn how to be nice to your boyfriend." He spoke as you eyed him saying, "Boyfriend..?"
"Why? You wanna date me and call me your friend?" You shook your head saying, "You're my best friend and also my boyfriend." He gave you a silly smile while driving.

"Yah, don't you notice something different in me?" He asked as you looked at him frowning.
"I don't think so.." You spoke as he sighed loudly nodding.
"It's your first time dating, isn't it?" He asked as you coughed awkwardly saying, "It's your first time too, right? Don't tell me you went around dating girls?"
"Why? Would you be jealous if I did?" He asked as you sighed shaking your head while looking outside of the car window.

"Yeah, I never dated. I just watched a lot of romantic dramas and webtoons. And my handsome face is a plus point." He spoke as you scoffed.
"You're so full of yourself!" You said as he chuckled saying, "But I am right, aren't I?"
"That's... true." You spoke scratching your neck as he smiled. 

"We're here!" He spoke getting out of the car as he opened the door for you making you chuckle.
"You're not anyone's fiancee now! Nor are you arranged or anything. Since you're mine now, I am free to open the door for you!" He spoke as your smile flattened and your heart skipped a beat hearing him say, 'mine'.
