Author's POV: 

"I ate well," Taehyung spoke as you nodded saying, "It's so good after all." He chuckled saying, "Let me drop you off." 
"Your toe doesn't hurt anymore?" You asked as he scratched his neck saying, "Ahh! It does! Ahhhh! It's hurting so much!" 
"Are you lying to me?" You asked as he spoke, "No, of course not. It was hurting today a lot! It still is! But a little less, but it's still hurting!" You sighed saying, "What are you? A baby? Aigo... you can just ask me to adopt you at this point." 
"Why would you call me a baby? I can make babies at this age." He blurted out as your face straightened. His eyes widened as he realized what he just said. 

Your face lost all its colours hearing him and you were feeling nervous out of nowhere. 
"I-" Taehyung was speaking but you cut him off saying, "I'll go now. See you." You were rushing as he spoke, "Y/N." You looked at him awkwardly as he spoke, "Do I look like a baby to you?" 
"What are you saying..?" You asked seeing him looking at you seriously. 
"Do you like manly men?" He asked again making you frown.
"What on earth are you-" You were asking but he cut you off saying, "Answer me. Do you like manly men?" 

"I..." You couldn't form words seeing him staring at you seriously so suddenly. What was wrong with him?
He was standing very close to you, and because of his height, he was towering over you while you were looking at him with big eyes. 
"Ah... you like Hyunjin." He spoke. Usually, he'd joke and back away laughing but today he was staring at you seriously. You weren't sure how to reply as you were still perplexed and nervous in front of him. 
"I am standing so close to you, does it not make your heart flutter at all? Does it only flutter for him?" He asked as you gulped staring at him. Your heart wasn't just fluttering, it was about to fly out of your ribcage. 

"T-Taehyung.." You spoke almost whispering as he stared at you. You were about to back away but almost slipped causing your feet to hit Taehyung's toe as he winced in pain backing away while holding his toe.
"Ah! I- Ahhh!" He screamed as your eyes widened.
"Oh my- a-are you okay?" You asked as he whined jumping in his place while holding one leg as you gasped. 

---Time skip

"Does it still hurt?" You asked as he coughed a little, still looking away. His toe was aching for sure but his pride was hurting more. He was acting so serious and intimate with you and the next moment, here he was, sitting like a baby. 
"Now I know why she thinks I am a baby. You're always ruining your chance, Kim.." Taehyung spoke to himself. It was already 7:30. You left his necessities near him before going back. While walking out of his apartment, you remembered how close he was with you a while ago. 
"If she didn't hit my toe, I think I would've ended up confessing," Taehyung spoke sighing. 

---At home || 9:00 pm

'I am standing so close to you, does it not make your heart flutter at all? Does it only flutter for him?' 

His words were stuck in your head as you sighed.
"My heart did flutter..." You spoke holding your heart which was beating very fast. You were staring at the perfume package on your night table. Gulping, you spoke, "No way..." 

'A girl and a boy can never stay just friends.' 

The quote was roaming in your head as you spoke, "I don't think I ever saw him that way though. Did I? Since when? How? I got over Hyunjin like- 2 weeks ago?! How come- And most importantly, why was acting as if he likes me...? No way! That's absurd!" An entire night passed by while you kept debating with yourself unsure of anything. 

Taehyung's POV: 

I heard the rooster calling as I sighed.
"I am so embarrassed. How will I face her now?! Why did I even try-" I cursed my luck realizing I spent an entire night overthinking. Again. 

---A week later 

A week passed by in a swift. Taehyung and you were still friends, and you were in keen observation of your feelings for him. Though you weren't going to believe the fact that YOU had feelings for HIM, the heart wants what it wants, right? 

You both often talked on calls or texted, but couldn't meet up in real because of your busy work. It was also the time for the company retreat. Taehyung's toe healed faster than his tantrums and he was also attending the retreat. You were feeling a little excited yet nervous about the fact you would meet him there. 

"Do I seriously like him...?" You asked yourself sighing. But soon, your thoughts were interrupted by Mina coming towards you, "Yah! Let's go? Get on the bus, idiot! GoGo Play's staff are coming too! But you know, there are only 6 of them in their department. Se less! Yet they are operating so well!" She spoke as you nodded. 

---Time skip

"Hii!" Taehyung chuckled walking on the bus. Mina who was saving your seat beside her saw Jungkook coming towards them. Jimin who betrayed Jungkook before was now sitting with a staff of GoGo Play and Mina decided to take this opportunity. Of course, she had a tiny miny crush on Jungkook. 
"Mr Kim. Y/N should sit at the back with you. She can't handle middle seats, cause of her vomiting habits. Could you take her with you?" She asked as Taehyung stopped looking at her confused. He saw Jungkook behind him as he tried not to smile.
"Okay! Considerate best friend~" He spoke chuckling as Mina coughed awkwardly. 
"Sit here... if you want." She spoke to Jungkook who thanked her sitting beside her.

You, who was in the bathroom all this while, came back to the bus just to see your seat being occupied by JUngkook. Frowning, you went near Mina and JUngkook. Mina smiled at you innocently as you sighed.
"Y/N.. sit here!" Taehyung spoke pointing towards the seat beside him as you sighed while glaring at Mina. You sat beside Taehyung as the bus started. You were a little nervous beside him, especially after that day at his house. The entire week, you were nervous. But it was better since you didn't have to meet him in person. But now, he was right beside you. 

The bus started and everyone was having the fun of their life. The company retreats are always reminding us of the old school picnics. 

You looked at Taehyung who was laughing at the others. His boxy smile, his twinkling eyes. 
'He's pretty good-looking.' You thought staring at him. His eyes locked with yours as he looked at you with a smile.
"I know I am handsome~ but staring is creepy!" He spoke as you coughed looking away. 
'What the- did he read my mind?' You thought, feeling nervous as he looked at you confused but shrugged it off. 

---3 hours later 

It was 11 am now, everyone was dozing off since they had to wake up early for the retreat. You were also dozing off but woke up because of the bus shaking. 
You looked beside you to see Taehyung sleeping peacefully. His lips formed in a pout, his hair messily covering his forehead. He was looking like an angel. 
"Angel." You mumbled seeing him. You noticed a tiny mole on his nose. A sudden urge to touch it arose in you as your hands unknowingly made their way towards his nose slightly brushing with his mole. 
You smiled seeing him move a little in his sleep like a kid. His head was leaning on the bus window and the shaking of the bus was making his head hit the window again and again. You noticed that and hesitantly tried to move his head a little towards you when the bus abruptly stopped because of the traffic and Taehyung's head fell on your shoulder. 

Him being in his deep sleep, of course, didn't know he was leaning on your shoulder while sleeping. You, on the other hand, were (Jung)shook. Your heart was beating rapidly and you were feeling so nervous. 
"Y/N... you're doomed." You spoke shutting your eyes in frustration knowing well that you were in love... with him.
