Author's POV: 

You looked in the direction of the voice to see Taehyung standing there with a smile. A smile spread across your face unknowingly. Everyone went towards him.
"Where did you die you punk?!" Mr Lee asked smacking Taehyung who chuckled saying, "I have things to be busy with too!" He looked at you and a bright smile spread across his face. But soon he diverted his attention towards Mina giving her some gifts and wishing her. 

You were about to go talk to him but Jungkook and Jimin called you to click some pictures. 
"Okay okay! Now some couple-pictures ~" Jimin spoke as Jungkook replied, "We both should click one too." Jimin eyed him saying, "Do you think you're as attractive as me?" making Jungkook smack his head. They both were bickering as Mina spoke, "AH YOU ALL! DON'T RUIN MY PARTY! Just- quietly, click pictures. Ah- Y/N! Hyunjin! You both go!" 

You looked at them and then at Hyunjin. You both stood together as you looked at the camera. Hyunjin smiled at the camera as you glanced at Taehyung who was busy talking. You couldn't even say a 'hi' to him. Shrugging it off, you smiled at the camera putting up your hand showing a 'V' sign. 
"How dry- Are you both not gonna act like couples in a couple photo?!" Mina scolded as you both awkwardly stood. Hyunjin was a little awkward because he didn't know how you'd feel but still he put his arm around your shoulder making you look at him a little perplexed. 

But your heart didn't flutter. Nor did you feel butterflies anymore. And most importantly, you weren't feeling warm or happy. You didn't feel the warmth being close to him. 
"Yah! Y/N! Look at the camera!" Mina spoke but you gulped saying, "I... excuse me." Getting out of the situation leaving everyone confused, you went towards the washroom. 

"I don't like him anymore I guess. It feels different. After all those weeks of being tired and fed up, it doesn't sound impossible." You spoke before sighing. You fixed your hair and makeup and got out of the washroom.
"Did I make you feel uncomfortable?" Hyunjin asked as you shook your head.
"Ah! Let's talk later." You spoke softly as he smiled nodding. A part of him was feeling anxious but he smiled. 
"Hyunjin! Come here!" Mr Lee called as Hyunjin went towards the group of boys chatting. You sighed walking towards the backyard of Mina's house to get some fresh air. 

You were walking but your steps halted seeing someone standing there. It was Taehyung. He was looking at the stars in the sky, you could say he was counting them. You smiled a little walking near him. 
"Hi." You spoke tilting your head as he flinched a little looking at you.
"Y-Y/N, Hii!" He spoke chuckling as you smiled saying, "What are you doing here alone rather than annoying people? That's unlike you." You spoke as he smiled scratching his neck. 

"I am just... a little tired." He spoke as you frowned saying, "Tired? After being invisible for almost a week? Were you that busy with work?" He let out a sigh hearing your question.
"Yeah, a lot of work." You nodded as he spoke, "How have you been? How are things with Hyunjin? Are you getting married soon?" 
You frowned at his questions saying, "I don't know yet. I think I don't l-" You were talking but got cut off by hearing your names being called.
"Looks like they're calling us." You spoke as he nodded chuckling. 
"Let's go." He spoke. 

"Let's click a group photo!" Jimin spoke as you all lined up together posing again. Just like the day in the amusement park. 
"Gives me deja vu!" Mr Lee spoke as you all joked around. You felt someone standing near you. Thinking it was Taehyung, you spoke, "Yah- Again? You-" but stopped seeing the person. It was Hyunjin and not Taehyung. He looked at you confused as you shook your head looking away. 
'Why did I think of him?' You thought before sighing. You all posed and clicked a photo but you didn't forget to glance at Taehyung who was at the other corner.

"Why is he being so weird today?" You asked yourself feeling something strange about Taehyung's behaviour. 

Taehyung's POV: 

I didn't want to come here but I shouldn't avoid people because of my personal feelings. After knowing that Y/N and Hyunjin were sorting things out, I realized that my chances with her never existed. I did try to occupy her time and her heart often but I don't think it's meant to happen. She likes him a lot already. 

These days, I tried to go to my company every day and work harder to get rid of her thoughts. It's just unrequited love. Of course, I actually had a lot of piled up works and issues at the company but a reason for my overworking was also her. 

But I had asked my secretary to keep me updated with Y/N, so I'd at least know how she's doing.

Author's POV: 

You all were now eating as you looked at Taehyung. He was looking paler than before. 
'Is he working too hard?' You thought before sighing as you focused on your food. You realized he wasn't even eating like he would on usual days. 
"What's wrong with him?" You asked yourself feeling a little down seeing him being so different. Though he was laughing and joking, acting all normal, you could sense something was wrong. Of course, you knew him long enough to know that. Mr Lee also noticed but kept quiet and tried not to show it. 

"Taehyung, are you feeling well?" Mr Lee asked as he nodded smiling. 
"You don't look that well though. Are you overworking these days?" He asked as Taehyung replied, "Yah, the life of a CEO isn't THAT easy huh." 
"Sure." Mr Lee spoke.

---After dinner 

It was now 7:30 pm. And you all were done with your dinner. You took a plate that had 2 doughnuts and walked towards Taehyung who was sitting at the table drinking water. 
"Yah, it's banana flavoured." You spoke as Taehyung looked at you a little confused. 
"You like them." You spoke as Taehyung smiled saying, "Thank yOu~" You sighed seeing him trying to goof around. He took a bite of the doughnut giggling. 

"Yah. Are you sad?" You asked as he choked on his food. You quickly handed him water as he gulped it down saying, "What are you saying?!"
"You look sad." You spoke as he replied, "Of course not! I am good! Hah." You sighed.
"I am not dumb. You're not goofing around like usual, you're literally sitting alone and not even eating well. You also look pale and thinner than before. Do you have a fever?" You asked as he spoke, "Of course not, I am fine." 
But of course, you weren't buying that. 

You were about to place your palm on his forehead to check his furniture but a voice interrupted you both, "Y/N? What are you doing here?" It was Hyunjin. 
"Ah... Hyunjin. I am just talking to Taehyung." You spoke as he nodded. He glanced at Taehyung and Taehyung realized he was looking at your hand which was about to touch his forehead. 
"I am good. Don't worry. Enjoy." Taehyung spoke as you frowned. He left making you confused. 

"Is he Mr Kim Taehyung?" Hyunjin asked as you nodded. 
"Are you close with him?" He asked as you looked at him before thinking for a while. 
"You worry for people who are close to you right?" You asked as Hyunjin nodded unsurely. You smiled saying, "He's a close person to me. Very close." 

He looked at you confused as you smiled, "I'll be back." He said getting a call from someone. After a minute, he came back saying, "I actually have to go back. A client is here. It seems important." You nodded smiling. You weren't really affected rather you were normal. He left soon. Walking out of the room, you searched for Taehyung.
"I am gonna investigate that sick and stubborn idiot." You spoke in a stern voice searching for him. 
"Yah- Kim Ta-" You were calling him but stopped seeing him sitting on the couch while holding his head. Frowning, you went towards him. 
"Yah, are you okay?" You asked as he didn't reply to you making you confused. You checked his temperature, and your eyes widened. He was burning in fever.

"You are burning! What okay?! No wonder you were acting weird all this while. Why do you have a fever?!" You asked, concern evident in your voice. Sighing, you quickly made him lie on the couch. His face was almost red. 
"I think you have to go back." You spoke quickly going to Mina. Mr Lee spoke, "I will drop him off."
"Why not let him rest here?" Mina asked as Mr Lee spoke, "I don't think you have enough bedrooms though." He was right, she only had 1 vacant bedroom in her house, the other room was occupied by her cousins and one was full of storage.
"I will go with you." You spoke as they looked at you confused. 
"I mean... you probably can't stay there at night. He also lives alone, so he won't have anyone to nurse him at night. I can also ask Hyunjin to pick me up later when he recovers." You spoke. Mr Lee thought for a while before nodding eventually. You 3 left Mina's house and not very later, you were now in front of Taehyung's house. 

"What's the passcode?" You asked as Mr Lee who was helping Taehyung stay firm looked at him.
"19...95." You quickly opened the door as you both got in. Making sure Taehyung was fine, Mr Lee made him lie on the bed in his bedroom. You looked around while going inside his bedroom. His bedroom was beautifully decorated. Elegant and classy. It gave a calm and cool vibe. You were surely VERY impressed by his choice.
