Author's POV: 

"Woah!" You clapped your hands seeing the fireworks. They were making the sky look so much prettier. Taehyung smiled sitting beside you.
"Woah! It's big!" He spoke as you replied, "The white one worked best!"
"I think the green one did." He spoke as you eyed him suspiciously denying.

"Ah, let's go have dinner! Tofu stew?" You asked as he said, "Sure!!" You both got up before playing around while going to the restaurant. 

---During Dinner

"Yum!" You smiled enjoying the food as Taehyung took some meat giving it to you.
"Have this." He spoke as you looked at the meat thanking him for a little before having it. Smiling, you gave him a special cabbage which he disliked.
"I am being nice to you but you-" He groaned as you giggled.

"The stew is good though." You spoke as he nodded smiling. And with those little chats and giggles, you both enjoyed your dinner. 

---After dinner

"It's 8 pm right now. We should head back." Taehyung spoke as you nodded. You both were walking on the beach as you spoke, "10 minutes later. I like it here." 
"You said I'd be an annoying company." He spoke as you scratched your neck saying, "Guess I was wrong." He chuckled saying, "Having a company is always better." You nodded agreeing while walking.

"Taehyung.." You spoke as he looked at you. 
"Thank you." You said with sincerity as his eyes softened. He looked at you before playing it cool, "Why? For what?" He asked as you spoke, "You know... I don't usually trust people or open up to them easily. I mean, I don't consider everyone very close to me though I like to socialize sometimes. But, I trust you." He smiled hearing you before saying, "Really?"

"Yeah, I think I do. No, I know I do. Though you're weird and childish, and you're very unreliable sometimes. You still feel safe and trustworthy. So, thanks." You spoke as he chuckled.
"Seems like you finally appreciate me~" He spoke as you nodded.
"At first, I thought you were a jobless person who has nothing to do except for annoying others. I mean, you were so clingy and annoying and always had to butt in everything. I thought you were a creep with ulterior motives. But, I don't know how you ended up being my friend and now best friend whom I trust." You said.
"I am grateful to you." You spoke as he said, "Oh my! I don't think I can handle so much!! Hehe, I trust you too, you know. I am grateful to you too. For bearing with my weird-ass." You giggled as he giggled along. 

Hyunjin's POV: 

"Yes ma'am. I understand, but I would request you to disclose your story and the reasons to me. It will be helpful for the case." I spoke as she nodded. Right now, I am at my office consulting a client who came here to get a divorce from her husband. 

"I and my husband were arranged a year ago. It was fine because we both didn't have any lovers. Since we both were single, our families arranged for us. And it was all well. I also liked him. But he didn't like me back, I thought it was okay since we were getting married. But he even delayed our marriage date for work. And after we got married, I started losing feelings for him. After all, you can't stay with someone who doesn't make you feel important forever. And a few days ago- I c-caught him cheating on me. I don't think I am happy and I want to be free from that cheater." She finished her statement wiping her tears as I let out a sigh.

"I am sure that would be enough evidence but, I'll see. You can count on me." I spoke as she smiled nodding.
"Only if he cherished me enough" She spoke as I nodded but soon I took a deep breath as I remembered about my and Y/N's wedding. I also delayed it, though it's all because of work, I only did it so I could finish the work and then relax on wedding, it feels uneasy. What if she misunderstands?
"Then, I will go now. Thank you." The woman spoke as I nodded greeting her back as I sighed. 

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked myself before sitting on my chair taking out my phone. She didn't text me after lunch. That's a little unlike her.
"Maybe I really didn't realize my mistake," I spoke before leaning my head on the chair. It's true I have a lot of work, and that was the sole reason I asked to delay the marriage. But come to think of it, I should've considered it a little more. 

I always knew Y/N liked me. She's just too obvious but I never minded. She's a nice and warm girl after all, though I don't have any romantic feelings for her, after marriage, it all becomes good right? Till then I can just focus on my work and career. That's how I've always been thinking, but maybe I went wrong somewhere. 

It's true I have not been very interested in marriage. But still, so we stay good friends, I tried making time for her randomly and try to give her a ride. But maybe that wasn't enough. Even I can sense that, how would she not? But I feel sorry for her, I am not sure if she would have expected that from someone she likes. And I don't want her to misunderstand me.

Author's POV:

"Ah, what's wrong?" You asked seeing Taehyung stop the car.
"I think something's wrong there. Wait, I'll see." He spoke getting out of the car running towards the traffic and crowd. You got out following him. Gasping, you saw a huge hole in the middle of the road. There was traffic because people weren't able to cross the road. 

"How did this road break?!" You asked as a woman replied, "Ah, I heard there was an earthquake today. It was in the north area but how are we supposed to return home from the countryside now?!" You gasped a little. 
"We have to either return or spend the night on streets." Another man spoke as you let our a gasp in disbelief. 
"What do we do?" You asked Taehyung who was standing beside you.

"I don't think we can go back home right now. It's 10 pm. There aren't any other ways either. I think we have to stay somewhere else." He spoke as you looked at him sadly. You were worried about what to do.
"Well, I do have a vacation house just a little distance away from here... we can reach there in probably an hour." He spoke as you looked at him saying, "Is that the only way?" He nodded unsurely. 

"But- if you want, we can stay somewhere else too... if you feel uncomfortable." He mumbled the last part as you sighed saying, "It's okay. We don't have any other options left. Let's just go to your vacation house. We have to somehow stay the night." He nodded before asking again, "There aren't any workers there. Just me and you. Are you okay?" 
You gulped a little before thinking about it. You looked at him before thinking. 

"Well, are there separate bedrooms?" You asked as he nodded.
"Then, it's okay! We can just sleep separately. I'll lock my room door if you want." You spoke gulping as he smiled a little nodding.
"Let's go then." He spoke as you nodded. But you were feeling lowkey anxious and nervous. You never slept with any man other than your dad in the same house. Or at least not alone.

---Time skip

"We're here." Taehyung spoke as you smiled awkwardly nodding. Getting inside the house, you gasped seeing the pretty house.
"It's pretty." You spoke as he smiled saying, "I like decorated and detailed things." You nodded sitting on the couch.
"Do you want to drink anything?" He asked as your eyes widened. He gasped saying, "Water? Orange juice?" 
Your mentally facepalmed yourself before saying, "W-Water is fine." He nodded going towards the kitchen as you slapped yourself lightly saying, "What's wrong with you Y/N?! You're acting like the real creep now. Aish, I've never even stayed in the same house as a man other than dad, this is so weird." 

Soon, Taehyung came into the living room with a glass of water and a glass of orange juice. You figured the orange juice was for him.
"Are you hungry?" He asked as you shook your head but your stomach decided to say otherwise. He chuckled saying, "Why are you so awkward? I don't have any ulterior motives, I am good at controlling myself though I don't think there's no need to cause I won't be swayed by a chicken finger like you." You scoffed at his remark before gulping down the water in one go. 

"What about some ramen?" He asked as you nodded. He chuckled going towards the kitchen, you followed him like a lost puppy. Even the kitchen was well decorated.
He looked at you before saying, "Ah! Your clothes must be uncomfy. I do have some clothes in this house since I come by often. You can use mine if you don't mind. These clothes seem uncomfy." You scratched your neck not knowing what to say.
"Let me make myself clear again, it's only so you are comfy. Stop overthinking and go change. It's the second bedroom upstairs." He spoke as you scoffed.

"What overthinking? What do you think of me?! I don't even care about you." You spoke scoffing stomping as he sighed.
"Yeah, so obviously you don't care." He spoke before cooking some ramen. 

--Time skip

You came down after a while wearing a hoodie that almost covered your knee. so you didn't wear any pants because not like his ones would fit you in the first place. 
"You're he-" Taehyung was speaking but stopped seeing you standing awkwardly in front of him.
"So- just in case, don't get the wrong idea... I mean, usually, couples share outfits, I am only wearing yours because I just- don't have any clothes. Don't misunderstand!" You spoke as he looked at you blankly before laughing like a maniac making you frown.

"Y-You're looking l-like a m-minion!" He spoke as you gasped glaring at him.
"YAH!" You screamed almost hitting him as he gasped. You realized you almost hit him as you gulped looking at the floor saying, "Sorry... I guess I overreacted. I am hungry." You spoke as he chuckled saying, "Let's eat then!" You nodded. But as you both were eating, you randomly glanced at him before wondering, 'How will this night go?'
