Author's POV: 

You both were sitting when he suddenly put his arms around your shoulder making you look at him. "M-Mr Kim-" You were talking completely flustered as he smiled saying, "Why? Does it make you feel butterflies in your stoma-" You cut him off saying, "I'd rather say I want to puke because your t-shirt smells weird." 
He frowned sniffing it before dry heaving as you gulped looking away.
"I- I definitely washed this cloth!" He spoke completely embarrassed as you chuckled saying, "I think it's because of the swing. The rusty metal brushed with your shirt. This happens to me too. It smells so weird! Even my hands!" You spoke as he sighed looking away embarrassed.

"It's okay, my dear best friend~" You spoke chuckling as he looked at you a little flustered.
"Tch, so now you accept me as your best friend?" He asked as you replied, "What's there to accept? It's more like- I too think maybe you just became my best friend? Or why would I trust a man to agree to meet with you, or tell you about my day." He smiled hearing your reply but frowned remembering how you keep calling him 'Mr Kim'.

"That's okay but- why do you keep calling me Mr Kim? Just call me Taehyung. Simply, Taehyung." He spoke as you looked at him weirdly saying, "That's a little weird.."
"Aren't we best friends?" He asked as you nodded saying, "I guess I can try. Right, T-Tae...hyung?" He chuckled hearing you as you smiled a little before saying, "Aish! I can't! It's awkward." 
"Okay, that's enough. Don't worry. You're funny." He spoke giggling as you sighed. 

"I am tired." You yawned a little as Taehyung frowned looking at you before saying, "Want me to drive you back?" You looked at him before saying, "Mhm. Sure..." 

---Time skip

Taehyung drove towards your home while you were dozing off in his car though you weren't planning to. You were just tired after a good day. Taehyung glanced at you a few times before smiling. He stopped the car before leaning towards you as he adjusted your head so you could sleep peacefully. 
He quietly but quickly got out of the car before entering the shop he stopped in front of instead of your house. Buying a medium-sized teddy bear that said, 'Be happy' he put it in a cute bag before putting it in the backseat. He noticed you still sleeping and mumbled, "She must've been tired."

He started driving again as you tossed a little hearing the engine but soon fell asleep again. After a while, Taehyung reached your house smiling as he looked at your sleep.
"Should I wake her up?" He asked himself staring at you. He noticed how you were down today while talking to you on phone and wanted to cheer you up. But knowing you were stubborn, he just made you come to the park even though he knew you would want to stay home. But staying at home would make you overthink and even sadder so he decided to use his tactics to spend some time with you and cheer you up. 

"That weasel really bothers me. How can he focus on work when he has such an angel right in front of him? Tch, I really wanna be unfair when I think about him but, I want you to be happy first." He spoke seeing you waking up slowly. You yawned getting up looking here and there.
"Oh? Mr- I mean... Taehyung." You spoke as a smile spread across his face hearing you call his name.
"Are we here?" You asked as he nodded smiling. 
"Ah, you should've woken me up. When did we arrive?" You spoke as he replied, "I just- stopped the car. You woke up at the perfect time. I wouldn't have let you waste my time." He spoke as you scoffed getting off. 

"See you then." You spoke but he suddenly spoke, "Wait! I have- something for you." You looked at him confused. He got out of the car before taking a bag from the backseat. 
"This. You can take this." He spoke as you eyed the bag confused. 
"Are you dumb? It's a gift." He spoke smiling a little as you were confused but took it. More like he handed it to you forcefully. 
"But why?" You asked as he replied, "If you want me to be honest then, I bought this for you. Because you were sad." 
You looked at the bag and then at him before gulping a little. 

"Thank.. y-you." You spoke as he chuckled saying, "Why are you acting so formally? Tch, you're acting weird now!" You coughed saying, "What? Of course not! I am just being nice cause I am grateful." He smiled saying, "Okay now go! I have work to do!" You eyed him annoyed before saying, "As if I am openly asking you to waste all my time!" You both bickered for a while but ended up laughing together as you bid him goodbye. 

---At home

"What's in this?" You mumbled opening the bag to see a teddy bear. It was holding a heart pillow that said, 'Be happy' You let out a giggle seeing the teddy bear. 
It had a button on the pillow. You frowned clicking it as a voice came out, 'May all the happiness come to you~ Be happy~ Be happy~' 

You smiled adoring the teddy bear. 
"What... he's so childish! Why would he give me a talking teddy bear?! It makes me happy." You spoke chuckling before admiring the teddy bear. 
You chuckled placing the teddy bear on your night table smiling before sitting on the bed saying, "Maybe if I hadn't met him a while ago, I would've probably overthought and been sad." You smiled a little. 
"I feel grateful to him now." You spoke before looking at the teddy bear. 

---Next day

A day passed by in a swift. You were feeling pretty cheerful and happy. Though you thought about many things at night, you realized that you needed some time for yourself to think everything over. You were currently in your office sharing everything about yesterday with Mina who was more curious about your story than her salary being cut for slacking off in work. 

"So- Hyunjin made you sad. But then- Mr Kim cheered you up! And gave you a teddy bear?!" She asked as you nodded.
"Girl, you're cruel! Why did you make him fall for you?" She asked as you replied, "Who?" 
"Mr Kim of course! Are you dumb? Why would a guy try that hard to cheer you up unless they like you?" Mina spoke as you scratched your neck cluelessly.
"He said we are best friends." You spoke as she sighed.
"Idiot. But.. before that, why did Hyunjin delay the wedding again?" She asked as you told her the story again.

"Tch, he delayed the wedding for his work? What a jerk!" She spoke as you gulped.
"I mean, he has work.." You spoke as she sighed saying, "Y/Nah. You know, you should marry someone who'll truly like you more than their work." You scoffed at her response. 
"I have been your best friend for 17 years now. Ever since childhood, we have been friends. And 10 years passed of me seeing your puppy love. Hyunjin is a good guy, very good. He's completely a dream for every girl and a literal perfection. And I always liked him because of that, I mean, I liked him for you. But you know he has a flaw, a big one." She paused as you listened to her. 

"He is too immersed in his life goals. He always works, basically a HUGE workaholic. It's not that bad as it might sound but his perfection and success are all because that's the only thing he focuses on. That's his biggest flaw. It also makes you feel small around him. While he's perfect at everything, you're a simple girl who enjoys life and doesn't really care about career, goals or things like that. And that worries me." She spoke.
"I know I am childish, but I want you to be happy. He is not a bad guy, I saw how he tried to put the effort into the marriage but I don't think he's someone for you. Because it's not about how much effort you're putting in but it's about your true feelings and how much importance it actually has to you." Mina spoke as you looked at her concerned eyes. You knew she was very worried about you. 

"M-Mina!" You cried out hugging her as she hugged you back.
"Y-You're such an i-idiot!" You spoke as she cried out with you. 
"I am only worried about you!!" She spoke back as you both hugged each other tightly sobbing like idiots in the middle of work as everyone was speechless at your drama.

---Time skip

"There's still time, reconsider everything. Change of heart or mind is not in our hands. It's okay. You should be with someone with who you truly feel happy. Not someone who you decided to like and be with." She spoke as you gulped before getting out of the office with her. You both went home as you thought about her words.

While walking home, you were thinking about her words and all your experiences. 
"It's true that his perfection feels like a burden to me." You let out a sigh before kicking a stone in front of you. Whatever she said was right, all that you were feeling, everything that you were thinking about. 
"I need a break." You spoke letting out a deep breath. 

"I don't think I want to carry on. I want to rethink everything. From the start till the end. Even though it feels messed up, I am sure I'll know what will make me happy. Even if it's him or not." You spoke gulping the lump in your throat before walking towards home.
