"Uriah Jones? Honor," Honor's father pretends to wipe a tear away. "I'm so happy for you. Give my condolences to the boy please."

"Hey for your information, he shares the feelings I have for him!"

"Has the he said it?"

A pout edges to Honor's wine colored lips, she looks away. "No."

A panicked expression forms the older man's face. "Oh sweetie, I was just kidding. Why hasn't he said anything?"

Honor throws her hands in the air.

She was worried.

She had gotten the guy of her dreams, so she was supposed to be happy right?

Yeah, not really.

It had been three full days since their magical kiss.

Uriah didn't call, then he didn't pick up when Honor did. He didn't text her and only responded with a smiley face when Honor texted 'hi, how are you?'

They saw each other at school only for a total of six brief glances since Honor was huffing and puffing about almost failing her biology test.

Also one of her favorite characters died and she did not take it well.

She got emotionally attached when she shouldn't have.

"I don't know dad! He kissed me. Then he doesn't call or text or answer when I do!"

She lands on the couch on her back. "I mean I practically ripped my heart open to him and he mutters some sweet words, kisses the hell out of me only to leave me hanging?"

Honor turns to look at her dad's face. "What does a girl have to do to get some response?"

"I don't recall Uriah ever being a guy of many words. He's more closed off. Visual if you will."

"But-"

"No buts, if he still remained the well mannered guy I knew, then you have nothing to worry about. Honor, your mother and I have told you this millions of times when you came home and said that your attempts of revaling your feelings to the Jones boy failed. You're intense. In a fabouls great way. He probably needs some time to take it all in. He remembers you as the girl you tormented the crap out of him. Let him clear his head. He'll come around."

Honor kicks her hands and legs. "I don't wanna wait."

"Are we dealing with another teenage tantrum?"

"Father, don't make me call grandmother."

"You wouldn't."

Honor stands up with her phone in her hand. "Oh I most definitely would."
