Uriah could say whatever he wanted.
But there was no denying that Honor made him feel alive.
She loved control and just one taste of her made him begging for more.
She made his heart race.
After all these years of being gone, when he got a glimpse of the ball of sunshine and fun and excitement that Honor Newman was he couldn't get enough.
He was scared.
He was insecure.
He was afraid.
Not of Honor as intense as she was. He was afraid he was going to feel more broken if something didn't go the way they both wanted it to go.
He was sure there were going to consequences.
Because nothing in the world was easy.
He had gotten anxiety attacks because of over thinking when he shouldn't have.
He didn't admit it, not to anyone and not to himself but he was self destructive.
He teared his self down, sometimes for no reason.
Because he didn't know if his visions were clear enough.
Because he felt constantly judged.
Because he didn't like change.
Because he was simply scared.
Because he didn't know how to fix himself.
