Honor had always been stubborn and driven only when she wanted to.

No one could possibly make her complete her history homework if she didn't want to, but bring out Uriah Jones and she was puty on your hands.

He wasn't perfect. In fact he was very very far from it but that's what she liked.

Sure, the messy hair in combination with those dreamy eyes were enough to make her weak on her knees but then her mind went to his personality and her heart would start thumping even more.

And she was sure to make it obvious in any way she possibly could.

Only she couldn't show him this when she didn't have his attention.

So locking him in the school for half a day where he had suffered all on his own, ruining his winter ball date's dress and telling his then crush Abby Carlson that he had a footsie fetish was enough to achieve that.

For a thirteen year old, Honor was sure something.

But then the bomb had dropped.

Honor was being sent to boarding school.

See, when Honor didn't get the attention she was convinced she deserved not only from Uriah but from other people too, she got it in the only way she knew.

Creating chaos.

And of course that didn't go unseen.

Along with other delinquents, the school recommended they attended schools where they could be handled.

Her parents agreed and a month later she was shipped off to a girls only school.

No Uriah Jones, no boys, no fun.

Fast forward four years later when her parents had made the divorce finale and Honor had manipulated them into letting her move back home.

She was thankful there was no sobb story. No affairs, no arranged marriage, no arguments, nothing. Just simple falling out of love.

She obviously wanted at least someone to get something out of the failed marriage so she managed to be that person.

Well this is when the bomb dropped for Uriah Jones.

He was absolutely completely horribly terrified.

The spawn of satan would be joining his life again. This time she would be older, with new ideas on how to make him miserable.

Uriah didn't necessarily have friends.

He had people he hung around with but he never truly met someone who ticked off all the qualities that he thought were needed in a friendship.

He spent most days at home alone, until it was time to pick up his twin brothers from school, then he would stay in his room and rarely attend a party in which his 'friends' dragged him to.

At least with Honor Newman, the girl of his nightmares coming back there would be some diversity in his life.
