It was hard for Honor to focus today.
Everything seemed blurry.
Everything seemed off.
She couldn't catch her breath and she didn't know why.
From her small movements, anyone could tell she was having a mental battle.
Shuffling in her seat. Sighing. Playing with the edge of her notebook. She swallowed again and again to stop herself from throwing up.
She'd shut her eyes for a few seconds, trying to zero her mind on something but it was just too jumbled.
All of this during class.
And if her teacher would've caught her not paying attention, she would get in trouble.
She was in pain. Not the physical one. But somehow this felt much worst.
The bell ringing was a relief for all students but for her it was for completely different reasons.
Stuffing her stuff in her back and getting out as fast as possible was her mission.
She was aiming for the bathroom so she could lock herself in there to calm down.
"Honor! Hey!"
The blonde heard Uriah behind her, but she needed to get away.
Pretending she didn't hear anything she marched there and slammed the door shut.
Threading her hands in her gold locks, she tugged, pulled, paced back and fourth.
Tears started forming in her eyes but she wouldn't let them fall.
Afraid of someone seeing her like this, she locked herself in the small cubicle and was panting heavily.
A frustrated cry escaped and she squeezed her eyes close.
So the tears came shortly after.
They fell and fell and she felt her head getting lighter and cloudier.
Honor's eyes felt heavy and her lip trembled.
She felt like passing out and would've been content with it so she would shut off from the real world for a while.
Plucking her phone from her bag she dialed a number.
"I need you to calm me down." She whispered.
