They smiled at the camera, with their peace signs and Laiba clicked the picture. Laiba looked at the photo, she won't lie they looked beautiful in the picture but without her in it, it will surely look bad.

"Let's see."Mufida beamed snatching her phone away from Laiba. Raheenah and Raihanah also came forward to see the picture. They Awned at the beautiful ones, criticize the rest and ended up deleting almost all.

"Ya Ridwan."Ruhainah called out to him who was just passing by making a call. He raised an eyebrow at her questionably before cutting the call and slipping the phone into his pocket.

"Take our picture."Ruhainah stated and Mufida handed his the phone to which he collected.

"Make sure we look good."Mufida added and he glared at her before saying;

"Don't piss me off."Ridwan rolled his eyes before they all ran and stood in a cute pose. He couldn't help but just stare at Raheenah.

Gawd ! She looked so beautiful in the red Ankara skirt and blouse she was wearing.

It was his choice, After all.

Mufida cleared her throat to gain back his attention. They bursted out laughing except for Raheenah who just giggled and shook her head trying so hard to hide her blush.

Ridwan is just impossible.

Ridwan zoomed in the camera and took his wife's picture only. The duo ran to him to see the picture he took. "Send it to me."That was the only thing he said before going his own way.

Raheenah was the first to start laughing. "Gosh, I look so beautiful. Don't you think?"

Mufida glared at her and huffed and said. "Yen yen yen yen, for your mind you think you're beautiful. And tell your husband that I'm not sending anything to him."

Raheenah couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. Mufida's face was a sight to behold.

"Mufida don't mind these two lovebirds, let's go in and eat abeg."Laiba ushered taking Mufida's hands. Ruhainah and Raheenah followed behind them.

The whole family are at goggo's house to celebrate Eid. So many family members to meet after a long time. They couldn't even recognize everyone there. Every crook and corner of the Danbatta mansion was filled with joy and happiness.

"Give me some cupcakes too."Goggo said bringing her palms forward. Hafsat shook her head at her and took the tray away from goggo.

"It's a very nice day for our family, at least let me have some sweet."Goggo insisted on as she smiled at Hafsat who again shook her head at goggo's demand to have something sweet.

She is diabetic but will keep on insisting on having sweet things on and one and on without getting tired.

"Goggo what's happening here."Mufida asked placing her chin under her hand.

"What can you do? This woman here is not letting me have cupcake."Goggo stated at the same time eyeing Hafsat.

"We love you so much that's why we don't want you to have it, it's not good for your health."Laiba mused sitting beside Goggo.

"Get off me toh."Goggo snapped shooing them away and they quickly got off her and ran off to the kitchen to see what's popping.

"What smells good?"Raheenah asked shutting her eyes in delight.

Mufida opened her mouth to speak but a message from her phone stopped her. Taking a look at the sender which Dr. boss boss, she wondered why he was sending her a message.

Wallah, it better not be an emergency.

She hissed before finally deciding to open the message. Which simply read;

Meet me outside.

Is that an order ? Or what ?

"Meet me outside."Mufida mimicked using his bossy voice and rolled her eyes.

She looked at the message and read it again.

Meet me outside. Where exactly ? And why ?

Wait, is he here ?

Mufida shook her head, stomped her feet on the floor before storming out of the room muttering some incoherent words under her breath, mostly about Hisham.

God why ?

Why him of all people ?

Mufida hissed glancing around the house to see if she could spot him anywhere 'outside' like he mentioned more like ordered in a text message.

Must he be arrogant and bossy even in his texts ?

Pfft !

Mufida got tired of staring at nothingness when a message popped up on her phone as if the person knew she was about to go back inside and act like she didn't see the message when next they meet.

Like what the heck!

How did he even know where I am and how did he even come in?

Nevertheless, she still went to the backyard to meet with him. Curiously got the best of her.

And here he was, looking good in his navy blue blazer and a white inner shirt pairing the look with a black scarosso low-top sneakers.

Mufida walked towards him and stood in front of him, they were just two feet away from each other. She placed her arms against her chest waiting for him to say what he wishes to say and leave, she added a small smile so he won't take her position as rude.

Ya know !

The first thing he did made her move away from him a little. He just went on his knees as if he was about to propose to her.

Is he okay ? She asked herself staring weirdly at him. The way she was staring at him you would've thought she saw a pig flying.

"I don't know how to start this."Hisham started with a light chuckle. He seemed calm and also nervous at the same time.

Erm erm - start what exactly ? I don't gerrit.

"Because I'm afraid it might be the end of our not so good acquaintance, or if I'm lucky, the realization of my dreams, which is for you to love me as I love you."

Did I just hear him say love ?

Just let him finish! A voice in her head advised.

"I told myself I might as well take the risks because it's the only remedy I know that could unburden this feeling I've been keeping ever since."

"Dr. Hisham, I d..."Mufida started but he cut her off.

"Mufida, I love you. I know you'll find it hard to believe me if I tell you now how much you mean to me. I could hardly understand what I feel for you, knowing how to endure those long sleepless nights just thinking only of you. I've never been like this before. I just don't know how to pour out my feelings for you. I wanted to find the perfect words to make you realize how much I need you and love you, but words continue to elude me, what would they be? Something poetic? I'm sure it should be heartfelt and out of the ordinary. I'm afraid it's no use; every time I look at you, the words came out the same."

"I've been thinking of how best to let you know the feelings I've for you, I just realized that there is no such time as perfect, so I want to tell you that I love you so much Mufida, I can't even imagine my life without you."Hisham gulped hard and added. "Will you marry me?"
