"Umma," she called entering her mother's room, she went and sat down on her mother's bed she heard sounds coming from the bathroom so she knows that her mother is in the washroom.

She picked up her mother's phone and tapped on the Snapchat app, she started taking selfies with her favorite filter face makeup by Abdurrahman, she pouted pushing her lips forward to take a video, she muted the video and turned it into a bounce, she was about to take another selfie when her mother snatched her phone away from her with a hiss.

"What are you doing with my phone?." her mother questioned, locking her phone wondering how mufida knows of her password.

"Nothing umma." she lied, faking a smile. "Uhmm.." she trailed off scratching her head.

"Why are you stuttering, what's the matter?."

"You see, I haven't visited Ya Heenah and."

"You are not going anywhere." her mother objected shaking her head.

"But umma," she whined taking her mother's hands in hers.

"They are coming for the family dinner tomorrow, and you just came back from a long journey you need to rest."

"Family dinner?" she asked, perplexed. Her mother nodded typing away on her phone. "What of Ruhainah and Laiba?."

"Laiba is coming for sure but Ruhainah you know she is pregnant, I don't think it will be safe for her to travel."

"Okay let me call her up."She stated and left to where she had kept her phone. It was already full when she unplugged it from charging so she just dialed Ruhainah's number.

"Amarya ba kya laifi, "Mufida yelled when Ruhainah picked up the call.

Ruhainah rolled her eyes and said. "I'm fine, and you?"

"Don't mind me abeg."She shrugged it off. "Are you coming over for the family dinner?"

"No, I won't be able to attend believe me I cried fah but still Aryan isn't letting me go."

"That's not right, is he there?"

"Yes, he is, why?"

"Give him the phone."Mufida bossed.

"Okay."Ruhainah was confused but agreed nevertheless.

Aryan gave a quizzical look and she told him it was Mufida and she wants to speak with him.

"Ya Aryan, good morning."Mufida greeted with a wide grin.

"This one that I'm getting a good morning I hope I'm safe."Aryan shook his head and Mufida laughed.

"You're not."Mufida confessed amidst laughter. "I want a favor from you and you can't say no, okay."

"Okay."Aryan agreed to even sure what favor she wants from him. She has his number but never calls him up to greet him.

"Please let Ruhainah come to Abuja, pretty please."Mufida implored.

Aryan looked at Ruhainah and she gave him a lopsided grin. "Can you get me a cup of coffee, please."He said to Ruhainah, just to make her leave the place. And it worked she left to get him the coffee.

"She reported me to you, right? I've booked our tickets we're coming to Abuja tomorrow. I want it to be a surprise."

"That's very thoughtful of you Ya Aryan. I hope I didn't ruin the surprise?"

"You won't if you don't tell her about it."Mufida nodded and promised she won't reveal everything to Ruhainah. He handed her the phone when she brought back his coffee. He wasn't in the mood to have coffee but he just went with the flow and took it.

"I'm sorry Ruhainah, I tried I guess I won't be seeing you anything soon."Mufida sounded very low. Her acting skills were good. She hung up the phone immediately and did a small victory dance.

The house was filled with joy. It was as if a happy occasion is going on. People are everywhere catching up on past events and memories.

Ruhainah, Laiba, and Raheenah came alone she didn't bring batoul with her because she wanted to spend time with Hajiya Murja, she isn't that bad after all she really likes children and also managed to make batoul like her even though she doesn't like to mingle with people if not her parent. Zulaihat also came alone and left her daughter, fareeda with her bilal to take care of her.

"I can't believe you came alone. Why do you think I was so excited to see you, it was only because of Batoul."Mufida confessed feigning annoyance.

They're all currently in Mufida's room chatting before the dining starts.

"You do realize you're talking to your sister-in-law right?"Laiba chimed in finally putting her phone away.

"She was my best friend before she wooed my brother."

Raheenah stared at her jaw dropped. "Mufida you're not serious."

"Kyaleta. Leave her."Mufida rolled her eyes and hit Laiba with one of her pillows.

"Have you checked the gender yet?"Zulaihat asked Ruhainah and she shook her head.

"You know Ya Aryan likes surprises, so she wants to surprise him."Laiba interfered with her own silly words earning another pillow smack from Mufida.

"Nidai Laiba mun shiga uku dake."Zulaihat shook her head.

"What did I do? Ae gaskiya na fada."Laiba defended herself.

Raheenah got a message and it was from Ridwan. He was asking her to meet him in his room. Like doesn't he realize that she is in her in-law's house.

He sent another message which made her turn crimson red. She can't explain how much she loves him.

She stood up to leave when Mufida's annoying voice stopped her.

"Where are you going?"Mufida asked teasingly dancing with her head. All eyes were on her now.

"I won't lie to you, I'm going to meet your brother. Bye."Raheenah stated shyly and ran out of the room. Although the door was closed she still heard them Awwwnn-nd but ignored it and shook her head at their childishness.

She was about to enter his room when her mother-in-law saw her.

She wished the ground will just open up and swallow her because of how embarrassing that was. Her mother-in-law just send a smile her way and continued wherever she was going.

Raheenah released the breath she had no idea she was holding and entered the room.

She met him sprawled on the bed probably pretending to be asleep. He just sent her a message like 3 minutes ago and he can't fall asleep within that short period. Right?

She decided to go with the flow. She went and sat down on the little space beside him and held his huge hands in hers.

A goofy smile dancing on her lips. "I don't know if it was love at first recovery."She started referring to when she woke up from the coma and he confessed his love for her.

"Or not, but I've fallen in love with you again since that day. My life had turned into a rainbow filled with colors. I love you so much I'd fight a bear for you. Well, not a grizzly bear because they have claws, and not a panda bear because they know Kung Fu. But a care bear, I'd fight a care bear for you."She laughed at her own words. Ridwan couldn't help but laugh too.

She punched him on his chest and said. "I knew you weren't asleep."

"I was asleep, but thinking of you keeps me awake all the time. I can't sleep without you not beside me."Ridwan flirted and she had to roll her eyes at him.

"You're such a flirt. Why did you call me here anyways?"

"Can't I have some alone time with my wife? I haven't seen you since we came here. I miss you."

It was like the butterflies in her stomach, no the whole zoo was going mad in her stomach.

"Come here," Ridwan said soothingly extending his hands out for her. She ignored him and laid down beside him cuddling him.

He wrapped his right arm around her and pulled her closer.

"Jaanu."Her faint voice called out and he hummed. "What if someone comes in and sees us like this?"

"We're married, so we're doing nothing wrong."

"I love you, "Raheenah said out of the blue.

"I love you more," Ridwan replied and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Don't you think is time to get batoul a baby brother."Ridwan teased and she hit his arm.
