"MATES; two souls with a single thought, two hearts that beat as one"

'Wait, what?' i thought to myself as he started purring softly completly convinced i was his mate

"NO" i growled out lowly squirming beneath him the words of my father bouncing through my head

"stop moving mate" his wolf purred as he licked my neck but there were no sparks between up

i laid my teeth into his shoulder and he yelped with surprise leaping away from me i turned back onto my stomach then turned back to him i leapt at him sinking my teeth into his his neck he tossed me off and that was when the real fighting began

i limped back to the pack house after having chased the cowardly alpha away

"what did he mean by mate blue" i asked "because we are definatly not his"

i ducked behind a tree shifting back i pulled a spare change of clothes on mainly a shirt and a pair of underware

"he probably smelled one of our pack members on us"

"does that mean he'll be back?"

she remained quiet as i stepped out from behind the tree wincing at the smell of my own blood and the sight of the many gashes and teeth marks on my skin

"shawns going to pick up the smell of your blood" she told me and i sighed

"your avoiding the question blue"

"probably lex an alpha will crave his mate he will come back and he won't stop until he finds her"

i stumbled over my own feet as my head grew dizzy it was pitch black outside now the only thing guilding me was the warm glow of my pack house and the temptation of clean crisp sheets and a good nights sleep

then i fell to the ground

"it wouldn't take an idiot to tell that your not use to fighting" blue chortled

"i could of handled it better if i wasn't a runt" i growled to her

"i'm sorry" she whimpered "not even i can change the time you were birthed"

i didn't answer her but mind linked shawn except i didn't need to blue was right about him catching the scent of my blood as he came barreling through the door that completly gave up and broke off it's hinges

he lifted me to my feet and i leaned against him with a pained whine as he looked me over

"you could have gotten killed" he growled as he helped me to the front door

"but i didn't" i said with a laugh and he growled at that it was a protective growl but there was still a push of authority behind it

i wasn't in the mood to fight him as he lifted me off my feet and carried me into the lounge room laying me down on the couch i caught lillys eyes as she was sitting in front of the fire

shawn went away to fetch something to patch me and and lilly came closer with a small whine tears on her face

"i'm sorry" she said "you got hurt because of me" and i chuckled

"i got hurt because blue decided to bite his face" we both laughed together and i winced it kinda hurt to laugh

i leaned over and kissed her forehead my eyes shooting to the clock

"shouldn't you be in bed" and she pouted

"i was too worried about you to sleep" and blue awed

i shifted into a sitting position on the large couch and she sat beside me leaning over onto my shoulder as i gently rubbed her back 

i felt my eye lids flutter close as i felt both of or breathing eaven as the world around me grew dark and i slid into the loving embrace of sleep
