I rolled around on myoffice chair as I finished the last of the boarder sceduels and mealarangements for the week

some aspects of alpha lifewere quite boring, take paper work for exsample, I hadn't yet found asuitable delta so most of this stuff was left to me

because some/all/everypack member, wouldn't touch it was a four foot pole let alone a pen

some aspects would be bothboring and even that little bit terrifying, but your pack membersaround you would be relying on you and most of the time you beta aswell to keep a level head

but some points in lifewould scare and parlyse both you your wolf and your beta into meltdown mode

and starting from today Iwould witness the beginning of such events

"alpha"  archey whimpered thought the link I could feel his fear, he was practicallyshaking with it

scratch that

everyones fear poured intome through our pack bond like a tap set on high and it was enough tosend a growl through my chest

my pack has had enoughtruma to last us months

amijority of them have gone through years of tramactic exsperienceswith alphas

Isprank to my fee tripping I fell to the floor my heart racing a milea minutes as fear crept up my spin as my meternal instincts kickedinto play, there were pups in this pack

"lex,deep breaths" blue soothed

Idragged in a deep calming breath before replying to archey

"whereare you sweety?" I bearly got out

"outside, on thefront lawn, every ones scared, I'm scared too"

thathad me sprinting and down stairs before I could figure out what I wasdoing a familiar yet forighn scent hit my nose causing me to bristle

Imoved forwards passed layers of cowering wolves who began filteringtowards the protection of the pack house as warriors quickly ran toprepare themselves

beforelong I was in front of the action, in front of the threat

alarge body rammed into mine causing an 'oomph' to fly past my lips

Shawnwas against me shaking in fear and I held him my eyes narrowed on theman standing not even fifty feet away but he was close enough for meto identifiy him, close enough for me to smell him

"somebeta you have there" alpha Alaxsander said, and from the tone inhis voice he didn't seen to recognise me "he's very weak" 

butthat might have to do with the fact that Shawn was blocking me and Ihad my hair back in a loose pony tail tendils falling in front of myface

Ispoke with a low angery voice with a growl halfway up my throat,though I was pleased he could at least smell my status, that thoughtalong brought pride to my chest

"whatdid you do" I asked

I feltmore bodies stick to me and the quiet whimpers I heard identifiedthem as archey and jackson the youngest pups in the pack

evenfrom this distance I saw the grin on his face it was sardistic andtwisted, a look I had never before seen on his face, but I had onlyseen 16 years of tender fartherly love, rarely did I ever step out ofline to receive punishment

Inever saw this side of my father

Shawnwas pulled away from me by a wolf I couldn't see but the pupswouldn't move, they were young but they knew a big bad alpha whenthey saw one, and when the warriors wern't close by the alpha was thesafest place even if this was to result into a fight they knew Iwould protect them

alexanderchuckled his eyes focusing in on me as he squinted his old and agedeye, what was he sixty now? His alpha perks must be waning by now

"wouldn'tyou--"

hefroze taking in a sharp breath

andeven from this distance I saw his eyes widen

"alexia"he breathed stepping forwards to which I growled causing him to stopas I felt my warriors fall in beside me he had only been pacing theboarders before but now his long strides had made him pass it greatlyin a hope he thought that he could get to me

"you'reon my territory alpha" I saw pain flash in his eyes even atthis distance

Igrowled ans my warriors growled with me

"alexiaI--"

"OFF.NOW" my alpha tone bled through and my warriors shrank backslightly but were quick to gain their composure

helooked a little shocked raising his hands he stepped back our eyesnever leaving each other

as hepassed over the boarder I sighed lifting archey up into my arms andgrabbing hold of jacksons hand I tugged him after my as archeynestled into my neck

"alpha?"jacksons voice asked quietly but my axsiety was through the room and I found it hard to drag in breath

"lexi calm down" blue soothed witha soft tone that she had been developing it relaxed me as I climbedthe steps into the pack house

untilhe startedprodding the mind link I had thought broken

pain erupted along the side of my head and I bearly had time to put archey down before a shifted

it was the most painful shift I had ever had, rivaling that of my first shift, as the forced shift took five minutes to complete leaving me drained in the entry way blue in control

OKAY LAST ONE FOR TODAY, OR THIS MORNING IT'S LIKE ALMOST ONE OCLOCK THO SO I SHOULD PROBABLY GET SOME SLEEP
