Chapter 5 : Let's Be Friends??

*** Flashback Continues ***

Soon Parth, Vidushi and Sanyukta became great friends.. They used to enjoy each other's company may it be in tutions or in school. They were always seen together.

This sight used to irk Randhir. Seeing Sanyukta close to Parth and Vidushi was hated by him and especially when she was seen with Parth... Reason?? Unknown to him but it could be confirmed by the looks he used to give them but they used to ignore it! Due to this he started teasing her more.. but to his bad luck every time he did Parth would come to Sanyukta's rescue and warned him not to it again which made him more angry and impatient.

Days passed in such manner... one day when Sanyukta was going through the school corridor she heard some weird noises from the staff room and she felt something fishy as there were no lights on in the room which implied that none of the teacher's would be in the staff room so she decided to sneak peek inside the room and what she saw was some boys were removing some papers from the cupboard... to her luck she had her phone and she recorded all in her phone still not understanding what they were actually upto.

Few days passed by and she forgot about it as she was busy in her studies and also this wasn't discussed by her with anyone not even her bestie.

One day the news came that someone has robbed exam papers and investigation is to be done regarding the same that day Sanyukta didn't go to school due to bad health and she got to know about this through Vidushi.

Next day when she visited school she got to know that the blame has come on Randhir as papers were found in his bag and he wasn't even given a chance to prove himself innocent. He was pleading hard that he has not done it but none were ready to believe him.

Then Vidushi mocked "A person like him deserve it." Don't know why but this comment wasn't liked by Sanyukta cause somewhere she believed that no matter how much notorious he was but he was intelligent enough and didn't need to do such erroneous work.

*** Sanyukta's POV ***

Dont know why i feel this is wrong. Its like I can see it in his eyes those dark brown orbs genuinely saying that he hasn't done anything wrong and don't know why but even my heart is not believing this no matter how bad he had treated me or we don't like it but he is intelligent enough to score without cheating and this is what I believe. Then I saw the same two figures in the crowd that I had seen in the staff room that day standing there with tension in their eyes that's when I remembered the recording I ran to the class to take my phone... thinking in my mind no matter how much I hate him but I can't let a poor soul get punished for something he hasn't done... and there Randhir was taken to principal's office so that he can be given punishment for the crime he hasn't done. When the punishment was going to be announced I reached there fully huffing and panting and said he can't be given any punishment... all were shocked to see me there and especially Randhir without even looking at him I gave the principal the proofs after seeing it.. she asked those two guys to come and they were asked why they kept the papers in Randhir's bag. They said due to investigation they were scared and they had already a fight with him so to take revenge of that they placed papers in his bag . After hearing this principal rusticated them from the school.

Then she asked me "Why hadn't I gave it to them before?"

I : "I didn't know what were they actually upto and I was busy with studying and due to bad health I completely forgot about it."

And knowing me well due to my grades she just passed a smile and told me to take care and leave.

I smiled and when I was leaving I heard her saying to Randhir that he is a lucky guy as I saved him.

I was back in the corridor walking silently and when he came running towards me and held my hand by wrist to which I gave him a frowning look he just smiled and said "I know I have been rude to you all the times and even teased you for the stupid reason where I was at fault and I am actually sorry for all that.. Please will you forgive me and lets be friends na?" Saying all this with tears still brimming from his eyes.

I smiled and said "Sure now stop crying like a kid" and we both chuckled and surprisingly he took me in a hug... our first hug!

*** POV ENDS ***

Sanyukta : By the way I wanted to ask you something... were you scared there??

Randhir : Oh please!! I am never scared.

S (giggles) : yeah right... I was the one who was crying like a crazy there.

Randhir gave her a look hearing this when Vidushi and Parth came.

V : i heard the news so finally friends ha.. I hope i won't get to see any more fighting now.

R : What is a friendship without fighting but this time it will be without ego and a lot more friendly maybe.

S : yeah.. how will the great Shekhawat live without fighting from me.

R : Whatever now stop your sarcasm and Vidushi and Parth I am sorry for my rude behaviour can we be friends??

P : Is that even a thing to ask of course we are friends.

Randhir and Parth also hugged each other and there were smiles on Vidushi's and Sanyukta's face. They all started talking and laughed on old memories. And this is how a new friendship started.
