Chapter 43 : Laters Sanyukta!

Soon the party came to an end and everyone said there goodbyes and left for their homes. Randhir too left for Hotel Radisson Blu Plaza where he was staying for a while till the company could find a good accommodation for him. The images of Sanyukta and Aryan dancing were still roaming in front of his eyes. He even caught Sanaya looking at them sometimes and it seems if there was pain in those eyes when she saw them. He tried to ask her but she dismissed the talk with her denial. It felt strange that he had clicked with Sanaya in such a short span of time but she was one of the first friends he had in the country and he felt good. The images of them dancing weren't leaving his mind which led to his mind drift to the times when he fell head over heels in love with her and that's when he first time told her about this.

*** Flashback in Randhir's POV ***

A month had passed from the day I have taken admissions in the college. Things were going pretty good than my expectations. Things were getting better... me and Sanyukta... she was opening upto me like I have wanted and has started trusting me again like before. We were back on track like years back with the same teasing, laughing, fighting and what not. Admist of all this we were happy. I had finally realised that I am falling in love with her and this feeling was so special that it couldn't be expressed in words. We share a special bond which I haven't shared with anyone else and that makes her special. I don't need words to explain her things cause she understands except for the fact that I love her.

Hangouts and studying together are a routine for Parth, Vidushi, Sanyukta and me which has helped to know her better but we were never alone cause Parth and Vidushi are always present which annoys me.

So now I am waiting outside her house for taking her out as on a date with me but just for an outing for her.

Randhir : Sanyukta where are you?? I am waiting outside your house since when.

Sanyukta : Randhir I am coming wait! I am a girl I need time to get ready and I can take whole time of the world to get ready and all you have to do is wait.

Randhir : Okay fine! Come fast but.

Sanyukta soon came down running. Randhir opened the passenger seat of his car and she settled there. Randhir too went to the driver's seat and chipped "How much time you take to come down??"

S : Sorryyyyy... now lets go. Btw where are we going??

R : You will come to know when we reach there.

S : Tell me!!

R : You have to wait and see. It's a surprise. Now let me drive.

S : What's with you and the surprise???

R : Nothing! Just wanted to make my friend happy.

S : Hmm. What if I don't like it... so it's better if you tell me. (Teasingly)

R : Wherever I am taking you I know you would surely love it and I am not telling you where it is so stop with all the drama.

S : Finee!

After a drive of half an hour the car halted. Randhir pointed towards a particular direction and Sanyukta followed it only to make her heart beat stop. They were in a garden full of roses. Sanyukta looked around dumbstruck.

R : Like it??

S : No.. idiot. I love it. You remembered??

R : Of course! How can I forget you adore roses so much... so here we are! Let's go.

S : Yesss.

Soon they entered the garden. Only few people were present there. Most of them appeared to be as couples and were indulged into themselves only. Sanyukta was observing the park carefully.

S : This is such a beautiful place.

R : Hmm.. I know

S : Why did you bring me here?? Like suddenly?

R : For starters well I know you love roses so much so this place I know would surely make you happy. And I wanted some "WE" time with my long lost friend. And look at this place it is so soothing.

S : Yes.. I can see.. have you ever come here before?

R : Yes.

S : Umm.. With... uhh.. Ishika??

R : What?? NO!! Obviously not. I come here only when I want to think and just clear my mind of all the mess. This is the place which helps me calm down.

S : Yup.. that it is.

Randhir and Sanyukta were sitting in complete silence enjoying the beauty of nature. When suddenly Randhir stood up breaking Sanyukta's trance. Randhir looked at her with a mischievous glee in his brown orbs and then strolled towards the sculpture of a couple dancing present in the middle of the garden.

R (helding out his hand to Sanyukta) : I saw you looking at it when we first walked through. My lady (with a wide grin) may I have this dance??

A short laugh tore apart from Sanyukta's mouth and she quickly flew a hand to cover it.

S : You can't be serious.

Once again Randhir gestured towards his hand and said to join him.

S : Randhir.. there are people around.

R : So??

S : I don't think that would be appropriate. (Walking closer to him.)

Randhir lips soon formed into a smirk.

R : We are never really good at being appropriate anyways.

With that Randhir's hand slipped on Sanyukta's waist pulling her more closer. Sanyukta's breath hitched sensing the closeness between them.

R : Ready?

Sanyukta gave him a confused look.

S : For what??

Soon, Sanyukta started moving. It was slow and calculated steps. Randhir spinned her carefully and then lifted her and brought her down. Randhir's strong arm around Sanyukta's waist and moving her carefully seeing that none of them trip. A short laugh erupted through Sanyukta's lips and she looked into Randhir's eyes.

S : Can we go a little faster??

Randhir's heart fluttered seeing her smile and laugh and he was glad that she was truly enjoying.

R : Now that is the request I would be happy to oblige to.

Saying this Randhir started moving fastly, spinning her. Her hair was flowing with the wind. Making her more beautiful. Her eyes glowing with happiness. She was laughing feeling the wind on her face.

R : God! I love hearing you laugh.

S : I love laughing.

Randhir shook his head hearing to her reply. A small smile playing on his lips from the time they were here. He took his time adoring her while dancing

S : Randhir... what are we doing??

R : I don't know.. but I like it.. whatever it is.

S : I do too.

Soon they stopped dancing and walked their way back to the car. The drive way back home was silent but it was a comfortable one. They both were reminiscing their moments in the garden and a soft smile was playing on their lips. Occasionally they were stealing glances and smiled at each other if caught. Soon they reached ourside Sanyukta's home.

S : I enjoyed the day today.

R : Me too.

S : So...

R : So??

S : So.. see you soon.

R : I don't want you to go.

S : Why??

R : Umm.. I... uh... Sanyukta.. I...

S : Chill.. we will be meeting at college anyways.

R : Yeah.

S : Bye.

R : Laters Sanyukta. (Winks)

Sanyukta chuckles and walks inside her home and Randhir leaves for his home.
